  • Being poised means “being in balance or at ease.” It also means “being ready to act or move.” When we are poised to adapt, we are ready to respond quickly and easily to changes. Examples include rapidly altering your approach based on new information, quickly modifying something for a new purpose, or adjusting rapidly to a new reality. If you aim to be agile, you’ll want to understand how to be poised to adapt.
