I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 4x4 1500 , I put a cold air intake on it and cleaned air flow sensor also throttle body and now it dont go back to idle like it should . I opened the flap manually and I think I did it wrong . How can I reset the throttle body motor ?
There is a throttle body relearn procedure that you can do but it will likely take some driving time to get it back to normal for it to relearn manually. Just google the procedure on that particular model truck for relearning it. It’s just a click of a button though if you have hp tuners or a tech scanner.

You will need to purchase the hp tuners mvpi or mvpi2 to use and then they will send you the application key to be able to use the hp tuners software.
You should’ve disconnected the batttery and did it by hand and put it back to normal how it was before u took of the battery and nothing would’ve happened

Anytime you clean a throttle body on these newer vehicles it will need to be relearned.
No ..long as u put weight gas pedal in accesory mode ...it will open enough to clean ...i did it no problems on 2017 silverado
using hp tuners do you have to purchase credits to do the throttle body relearn i know you dont when clearing dtcs plz
No you shouldn’t have to. It’s under The controls and special functions on the VCM scanner.
