It's likely that the Romans that worshipped/allied with Zerzura were Mithraics, who probably discovered it through their use of the orbs. The texts in the Roman tunnels in The Bunker are implied to be Mithraic texts, and it's possible that the whole structure uncovered by the French army beloged to Mithraics. The arena under the bunker could've been a ceremonial ground for two people to fight while undergoing a ghoul transformation. The shadow being at the bottom implies that they were actually killing ghouls, so it could've been a "best ghoul wins" type of arrangement to produce a "champion ghoul".
In my opinion, this Amnesia could have been much better if most of the action took place in some African palace, and not on the ruins of another planet.

it is stated in the video that rebirth ghouls are much, much older than bunker beast, and its quite obvious from both games, most of the "younger" ghouls have distinct traits as if they are not fully transformed, lambert even retains most of his body mass since he not starved for centuries
Wow what a seriously uninteresting design. At least The Bunker's monster has some small fun details to it and has half of it's face being almost normal and the other fully not. Also the very disproportional head is weird in a good way. This monster has almost nothing different to so many other horror monsters... And if you compare to the other Amnesia monsters it gets even more unfair with for example the gaping mouth weirdass creature we all know
It's hilarious that the reason half of the monsters in the Amnesia series pose any threat to the player is because in 2/5 we play as a woman and another two as a man with mental disorders/unarmed.
if henri didn't have a gun he would be deffenseless as well. No man can fight the ghouls, they have strenght and endurance much higher than even the healthiest male. So it's not the case of male or female, it's just having a weapon or not. And even that barely does the job as it just pisses them off
Nothing has to do with their beastly transformation or anything else it’s just the fact we play as women and disabled people. Not like a ghûl hung itself and lived or the beast taking countless bullets and two whole bayonets through the chest and still being perfectly fine.

i dont think thats really the case tho justine is actually the bad guy in her story, shes the one torturing and abusing the suitors and the only reason they could pose any threat to her is because she handicapped herself on purpose just for fun, id argue that shes actually the monster the manpigs are easily 3x mandus' size and could easily eat bullets, it would be like trying to shoot a bear, youd have to shoot them a lot so he doesnt stand a chance fighting them henri is an active soldier whos in a military bunker filled with guns and grenades and all sorts of stuff for war but all thats gonna do to a ghoul is maybe hurt it a little bit like a beesting and daniels just a weenie, a very pregnant tasi defended herself better than him its not a matter of being man or woman, armed or unarmed, because the monsters in amnesia cant be killed regardless well except for the suitors but i already covered that

u should defenitively take a look at dead space, the enemy design is really interesting in that game and the models include a lot of tiny details

This feels to me like an attempt by Frictional to bring the Infected from Penumbra into Amnesia: Rebirth. Not the best, but I don't mind.
