So far everything I've used from Skin1004 has been a win for me, especially the Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum sunscreen. I'm oily, acne prone and have this in my stash to use for the winter. Excited to try it out.
As someone who applies every product with my hands, I love this toner! The hydrating texture is amazing and its thicker than most other toners, yet still lightweight with barely any oily feel. Its very calming as well! This whole line is amazing really.
I tried the Ampoule from this line, and it gave me the worst breaks out of my life 😞 such a bummer because I loved the way it made my skin feel! Glad I only paid $8 on sale!
@@NOBSBeauty oh my I didn’t even realize that 😳 I definitely have broken out from a Lauric acid cleanser in the past! Yeah, I’m literally dealing with 4 painful breakouts right now. That’s probably why! Someone else on Amazon said it broke them out as well Update: I spoke to my derm and she said it has to be something higher on the list because lauric acid is at the end so we decided on Polyglyceryl-3-diisostearate as the culprit. She also said I need light textures that are easily absorbed and this might have also been too thick
I broke out terribly from the cream too,I have noticed i break out from fermented products in general and at first this cream didn't break me out and made my skin a lot better,but after 2 weeks of using it i broke out everywhere ,whiteheads and underskin pimples.😢😢😢
I am currently using and loving their Sun serum (hyalu cica) - I think I will use it forever, if they will not cancel it, because it has been the only SPF I have tried out of many that does not sting my sensitive eyes. And 2nd product I really like is their centella soothing cream (brownish color) - it is great for my oily skin. It is in gel form, but also contains shea butter and some oils, so it does not immediately evaporate like many other gels. It offers just enough moisture. Really liking both of these products from them.
Look at you with Tan lines Sarah. I have the cream, I think it smells like burning plastic..lol I was going to get the toner and serum sense they were such a good deal like 11$ but didn't end up doing it, I talked myself out of it saying how much cica do I need 🤔 but I'll probably try them soon .
I've tried the serum and moisturizer. Sadly they didn't work for me. Both have a lovely texture, neither felt heavy and felt amazing going on but once they dry 😢 They both felt sticky/tacky and it doesn't go away. The more you use the worse it gets. They also felt like they never fully absorbed, just sits on your skin. If you have oily skin, I would pass on these.
Do you find that the moisturizer doesn’t fully absorb? I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I always find it feels a little tacky. If I rub lightly over my skin after it’s been on for a bit I find it pills up. Really wish this wasn’t the case because the initial application feels great. It just doesn’t dry down to a nice finish I suppose.
I’ve never used Yesstyle before but want to order the neogen cream you recommended from another video. What would be your top 3 things from Yesstyle to try?
Almost every thing makes me break out on face so when that happens I use on my chest area which needs love and usually does not react like face. Sorry that always stinks when it happens.
I absolutely adore SKIN 1004 but this particular line of theirs is my least favorite. Their Hyalu-Cica line OTOH? That line is next level! OMG I love everything! Also their straight up Centella line is fantastic! The Centella Soothing Cream and the Toner are outstanding.
I love their original Centella ampoule, but haven't tried much else. I have bad reactions to some essential oils, so i have to be careful with some of their products.
Hey Sarah ma’am! Have you tried using the cream at morning under sunscreen- did it pill up or cause greasiness? Do you think this can work as a day cream as well? Thank you!
What toners do you like more, currently unsure what to buy for my winter routine and this one is like you said too expensive (i have super dry dehydrated acne prone skin)
The Klairs Supple Preparation Toner is a really nice hydrating toner. The other one I really enjoy is the Isntree Vegan Yam Root Toner - very hydrating and calming. One last one I love is the Jin Jung Sung Soothing Moisture Essence. Can;t go wrong with any of those.
Iunik uses a lot of centella in their products. I tried the Iunik sunscreen. It’s fine but not as good for a day in my pool as plain old Banana Boat. I’ve wanted to order some of the Skin 1004 products but I couldn’t quite pull the trigger. Any more at my age it just isn’t good to change skin products.
I almost bought this during the Amazon Prime Day sale. I decided not to get it as I was using other products with fermented ingredients and I didn’t was “too much” of a good thing. How do you feel about mixing fermented products in one routine?

I wonder if it is the lauric acid- it is in all three of these products. It supposedly a bacteria fighting ingredient, but it also is very comdegenic.

@@juhnetmickerdyyeah those both are bad plus macadamia oil are in all 3 I believe! I wish they would make a more plain version of the fermented cica.

Thnx for reviewing. I prefer their hyluranic cica line. I would say those products are better than these, especially for summertime.

Absolutely love fermented ingredients. Korean beauty introduced me to those products. And you’re absolutely right, the cream is lovely.
