Hi Sarah, have you ever heard of/or purchase a Caroline Hirons' Kit? Her Kits are a great introduction to newer and independent brands or product launches from larger companies. The Kits are always priced well. I would love to hear your take on the products. I've personally been introduced to so many brands because of Caroline.

    I love favorites lists.
I have 6 favorites that I’ve used for multiple years- Skinactives Antioxidant Serum, Timeless CoQ10 Serum, Isntree Green Tea Toner, Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner, The Ordinary’s Azelaic Acid and Acure’s Radically Rejuvenating Night Cream. I use a retinoid several times a week and glycolic acid 1-2x/wk but having found my holy grail products yet.
This year I have 2 new favorites that I just started using last spring- Stratia’s Liquid (Lipid) Gold And Stratia’s C & C Serum. My skin can’t tolerate water based ascorbic acid serums, probably due to the low ph. The anhydrous ones I tried would sometimes be grainy so also very irritating. For the first time ever I’ve been able to use ascorbic acid 4-5x a week!
Can’t wait to see the second half of your list.

Hi Sarah some excellent products so far. My top favourites this year are:
KS Delikate cream - pricy but it's so comforting on my super dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin in the Winter months and isn't greasy so I can wear my spf on top.
KS Delikate cleanser - one of the few cleansers I have used start to finish without putting it away lol. I really like it and it's not at all drying.
Jin jung sung soothing essence - a new favourite and a must have for the Summer. It's very hydrating (probably due to the high percentage of glycerine), but it has a great INCI list and doesn't ever upset my very reactive skin. It pairs very well with the omega serum btw and that's how it will function in the colder months for me. I repurchased both.
Ultrasun spf - just never fails and doesn't make my skin freak out. I've used it for over a decade and I trust it.
Bioderma sensibio misceller water - a staple for me.
Azelaic acid 15% (Finnacea) - keeps my rosacea fairly well controlled and made a massive difference to the texture of my skin. I get mine on prescription, but the ingredient is the thing and not the brand.
There you go my top 5 (with a sneaky pairing to give 6 lol). Best wishes.

I absolutely love the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence ❤ I have 2 back ups lol But they were 40% off ( 1 per order ) on Amazon. I made sure I got it from Neogen and not Amazon. I also love the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream 💙 Cosrx Snail Cream 🐌 I think once I use up the Snail Peptide Eye Cream, I won't repurchase. Its nice but I don't think its really doing much for my skin same goes with the Beauty of Joseon Retinal Serum 😢 But their Green Plum Toner ( sorry I can't remember the exact name ) works so good for my sensitive skin. I recently got the Avene. 1 Retinal and I will repurchase it. Its so gentle. I just ordered the Drmtlgy Peptide Night Cream, I can't wait to get it. I'm thinking about getting the neck cream too ( I got a gift card for my birthday ) but haven't decided yet. I thought about getting a back up of the Avene Retinal but I don't think it would be smart to do. I'd rather purchase when I run out. I'd be so upset if the pump was defective and I couldn't return it. I can't wait for tomorrow's video ❤

The Peach Slices Az Acid is great! My other favs this year are the Skin1004 sunscreen, the Bonajour Green Tea Water Cream, and I have to say, the Apostrophe prescription by mail ret+ spironolactin + clindamyacin did wonders for my periomeonpausal acne. This video reinforced to me what a difference not taking sponsors makes to a channel. Having watched you this past year I KNOW you love all the products you mentioned and tried them out in an unbiased manner.

    Favorites for this year include:
Hada Labo cleansing oil, followed by CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser*
Make Prem gentle hydrading essence toner
    Stratia soft touch AHA
Etude Soon Jung 2x barrier intensive cream
Ancient Greek Remedy Oil (one of my HG products-I use it for everything from spot treating whiteheads to hair ends to soothing irritated patches on the body)
*I’m on the lookout for a cruelty free 2nd step cleanser, but I’m scared for my sensitive skin-even the Vanicream gentle cleanser was too harsh and sent my skin into an awful tailspin of irritation.

Hi I have extremely reactive skin with both rosacea and eczema. A few cleansers I really like are:
Bioderma sensibio misceller water - never irritates my eyes or skin, but I rinse it off usually just to be sure.
Avene antirougours cleansing milk - this is what I use during a rosacea flare as it works as a one step cleanse (the least amount of cleansing the better when super irritated)
Paula's choice cleansing balm - takes of makeup really well and is super gentle. As I have super dry skin I can use it as a single step cleanser, but oilier skin may need something else afterwards.
Kate Somerville Delikate cleanser - pricy, but so gentle on the skin. This is my second step cleanser favourite.
      I hope that helps.x

I finally bought the PS Azalaic serum yesterday and used it last night. Also I think I fixed my Reveive serum fingers crossed..lol
I have a list of stuff I need to order from yestyle or style vanna, it's annoying cause they are always saying my email isn't my email it's incorrect but it's not. I really want to get the pcalm milky toner that came out with the tranexamic and other good ingredients, Idk if u bought that one yet. The beige butter balm from SF taste like vanilla too if u want a nude color for day time , I have that one I need to get the clear one too.
Love these top videos and longer ones from u .

That’s a lot of products! Right now I’m loving the neutrogena fragrance free hydro boost cleanser. I just got Rhode glazing milk. I think it’s good. And it’s a very good price. 29$ for 4 ounces. Timeless coenzyme q10 serum, BOJ dynasty cream and the ginseng sunscreen. Isntree hyluronic acid watery Sun gel, and last but not least ALTRENO. Which I heard about from you:)

Some of this year’s favorites for me have been
    *Peach Slices Acne Exfoliating Toner
    *Cerave Hydrating Sheer Sunscreen SPF30
*Grace&Stella F Balm, This Works! Cleansing Balm
*Altruist Dry Skin Repair Cream 10% Urea (I’ve been wanting to try out the Prequel Moisturizing Milk Lotion which is also 10% urea but they’ve been sold out)
*Q+A Azelaic Acid Serum (8% azelaic acid)

Your skin is so glowing, Sarah! I have been really way slower on this skincare front, just sticking to my Japanese UNO brand lotion and skin milk and cream. Occasionally, I drop in a dash of Cerave Retinol Skin Renewing Serum at night. Some Cerave merchants have been peddling fake Cerave Moisturizing Cream products online, and I virtually have not been getting it online.

I just put in an order for C Glow and the Ordinary Peptide serum last weekend. I'm so excited. I've just started using the A Game 5 and once that's finished I'm going onto the 10. I've been using the Beauty of Joseon Retinal eye cream for about a month. Loving it.

I started using a 20% Azelaic acid cream about a month ago (we can get over the counter here in Australia) and yes I definitely started noticing a quicker change in my skin as far as my melasma and rosacae go, and the odd pimple I get, clears up very quickly and doesn't leave a mark.

Thanks to your channel I now have the Reviv serum on order. Can't wait to try it! You're also the reason I was introduced to G&G, another fantastic brand! (I have their JJ cleanser, Calm Down, Hydration Station, NMF spray toner, aPAD serum, Stressless serum, Vitamin C serum, and Happier Barrier cream) My skin seems to like Glycolic Acid so I've gone ahead and purchased their smooth out exfoliator as well. May try their A Game. For now I'm using a combination of Stratia's Nightshift and Naturium's Bakuchiol/retinol serum.
I'd really like to get away from Naturium altogether as their founder bugs me but they really have several NICE products ugh

Regarding the Laroche Possay Sunscreen as you probably know it uses the Mexoryl XL 400 Filter which you can find in most Loreal owned brands Vichy, Garnier, Loreal, Biotherm, Skinceuticals, and Laroche. if you found the LaRoche one too drying check the Loreal sunscreen or Vichy but make sure that they have Memory XL. I have tried a Loreal one (bought in Korea) has Mexoryl XL as well but compared to the Laroche Possay one more dewy comparable to beauty of Jeosoon. but I agree that La Roche Possay s or the Loreal patented memory XL is the best filter most photo stable one . However I believe it's not allowed in US so you won't find it in the US versions of the sunscreens.
    Greetings from Europe

I know you try a lot of products. My question for you. I have snail essence and liquid gold. Stratia
Obviously you don’t use all these products at the same time

    I always think an overkill

    • @whatnext715
      @whatnext715 ปีที่แล้ว

I have both those products but haven’t used them together before, something to try.
Personally, I use liquid gold like a serum that I “cocktail” w other products but mixing them in my palm and then apply. In the morning I use liquid gold with the ordinary’s Azelaic acid. It really helps improve the texture and spreadability of the Azelaic acid. At night I cocktail liquid gold with the acure radically rejuvenating night cream (w peptides). This summer that has been plenty moisturizing for me. I have older dry skin. This winter I suspect I’ll need more occlusion.
