  • Spectacular and very large abandoned dream farmhouse in Canada. Explore #30
This spectacular and very large abandoned dream farmhouse was one of the nicest farmhouses I have seen. It almost seams like a mansion from the outside. The family used the land to farm for approx. 50 years. Sadly any day it will be demolished. Like most farm land this property and house will be replaced with new homes and shopping malls. Outdated but in great shape this house has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens.

    About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

I am overwhelmed by sadness knowing this beautiful home will be destroyed. The development intended to replace this fine farmhouse will never last as long or be as well made. 😪

Great idea , demolish beautiful old stuctures and make way for cheap subdivision cardboard homes.

“Greed disguised as progress.” Such a beautiful old home lost forevermore so that someone can get rich by destroying both the land and the home to throw up some cardboard houses.

The architectural salvage in here is gorgeous and hope that's taken into consideration before demo. Also noticed the lack of plentiful electrical outlets. It probably needed too many updates. A good developer would've not only kept and updated this house but would've also subdivided it, and then designed more of the same style on the land around it. This is beautiful property.

As a Canadian, I am saddened. This house looks in better condition than most houses to date. Someone really took very good care of it and was proud of their home. "THEY" Want heritage destroyed. None of this is organic, it is a plan.
Destroy the homes and memories and identity of a people.
Plausible deniability" It was for development, the love of money,...that's the new belief system right?"
      No.

I grew up on a farm in St Catharines, If I won a lottery that's the kind of place I would love to buy and restore, the house, the barn it would be amazing just live like the Waltons haha. The multi colour and design carpet upstairs that's the same as we had in my grandmas basement as soon as I saw it the memory came back something I haven't though of in 20 years. You kind of said what I was thinking coming up the stairs having that feeling of your leg getting grabbed. • @michaeltutty1540
      @michaeltutty1540 3 ปีที่แล้ว

In Markham, these old farmhouses are usually saved. The developers are required to turn them into community centres or something else. If that is not possible, the old houses are moved to a specific subdivision owned by the City. The lots are reserved for these old homes, which are restored, updated, and sold with Covenants attached to the deed to protect them

places to look= every drawer and always pull out the bottom drawer it's a good hiding spot, the attic is a must, loose floor boards especially in closets, also thumb through every old book a common spot to hide cash. in one farm house which was ready for demo (I used to work construction which did demolition) in the library was a book printed in London in 1537 by the green dragon press, and yes I took it.

It's a damn shame, this house is beautiful. The weird carpet is called 'shag' (not plush). A '70's thing

What a gorgeous (and clean!) farmhouse. You can really see the architectural details, the falling snow is a nice peaceful touch too.

That is a very upscale home for a farmhouse. It's a shame something built with such quality materials was to be demolished to be replaced with houses that are thrown together these days. That saddens me. It would be good if they allowed professionals to salvage as much as possible before it's destroyed.

Oh wow green shag carpet, haven't seen that in along time, that goes back to the early 60's, it's a shame this house is being torn down, wouldn't take much to fix it up, thanks for sharing.

What a beauty! It saddens me to know that it will be demolished. I've never seen a house this clean and the wood so beautiful. I must admit that the carpeting is from the early 70's.

Beautiful house, I love the trim, doors and floors. So sad to see it being torn down. The yellow bathroom looks like it came out of an old mobile home from the 70's. the carpets and wall paper is straight out of the 70"s. The carpets are shag, and shag rugs are on the way back in for 2020. Awesome video!

How sad that they are going to demolish it and call it progress. It looks like its still in pretty good shape. The woodwork is amazing

Darn shame to tear all this beauty down! Someone put a lot of blood, sweat and tears building this home and barn. Really sad to see places like this go.

What a beautiful place ! Why not sell it and restore it ? It would make a nice bed and breakfast or an Inn!

You can tell the decor was 70's. The green and orange shag carpeting, the wallpaper, even the multicolored carpet in the upstairs. Beautiful wood, what a shame its going to be gone. Think of all the memories it holds. I loved the size of that barn, imagining all the animals that they had there. Very nice farmhouse, nothing they put there will compare to it.
