Absolutely true! I thought the same throughout the entire video. The genuine respect he has for the locations he films makes me have that much more respect for him. Unlike other explorers I’ve seen. Such as Being gentle and closing doors he’s opened. It makes a difference! Great video Brent!
I just subscribed to the channel because not only is Brent's content incredibly interesting, but also because of what you articulated Henry ! 🇨🇦 Great stuff Brent.
Brent, that has got to be one of the cleanest houses you've ever been into. Glad to see that it wasn't beat to death by punk kids. Somebody needs to save that house. It may be dated, but it's got incredibly good bones for a renovation.
Brings back memories of when I was a young kid in the 70s. I remember family and friends having houses with those types of fixtures and articles. Love it, too bad it will be torn down. Roof repaired, some remodeling, there’s plenty of life left in that house. Thanks for the tour. Cheers from the US
Although the styling of the fittings is dated, I did oddly like the retro feel of it. Besides the roof being in a bad state and being the precursor to leaks and large scale rot, the rest of the house was not in terrible shape. It felt lived in, served its purpose and probably had some stories in it. That unfinished or damaged remote controlled plane (you found the remote in another room) reminded me of a gift my cousins got decades ago when they were young. It speaks to a bygone era of a middle class family to me despite the stairs with the gaps. I remember that growing up too in the one house cousins stayed in for a time.
Really cool tour and a very cool house. Call me crazy, but I'd love to live in that house just as it is. I love the 70's styling. Those Amerock switch plates bring back many memories from when I was a kid.
What a delightful, open, inviting home!!! This would have been a dream to live in! I love especially the glasses in room and view, the kitchen, and the fireplace, and use of colors. Thank you for this enjoyable find!
My in-law's home was built in the 70's, too, and they upgraded a lot but the parquet floors, the light switch covers, the mirrored closet doors, the shell sinks are all things my in-laws still have in their home!! I couldn't believe how many similarities there were!! Nice job filming and punching, too!! Stay safe
Abandoned Urbex Canada Thanks Brent for sharing with me this video about Large Abandoned Retro House Stuck in the 70's. Explore it is a vey beautiful brick home it is to bad it could not be safed and still be lived in .i am surprised they left the cool stuff inside the house and i enjoyed it so very much Brent and i can't wait to see your next video and God Bless and thanks again.
No vandalism! And what a weird staircase. Modern-style stairs but the railing, spindles, are all classic style. That’s the 70’s for you. Another great find. Thanks!
The waste! It kills me especially when see items I could sell for veterinary services. Seeing all these places makes me so depressed for the state of everything. So many in need and houses full of reusable items. Those black bathrooms and the office couch?? That would pay my vet costs. All those kitchen items, fridge and stoves - I wish like heck they could be given to families in need.
Brent that place was still in pretty good shape! Thanks for taking us along. I loved all the wood in there! You did pretty good on the bag! Your smile bring a smile to my face!! Take care and be safe!! 🥰🤗💜
I Can never thank you enough Brent! Many of Your other viewers have pretty much covered everything! You are First Class all the way! Loved seeing you punching that thing on ceiling!! Your explores truly bring me joy. Love spending time with you ! Take care!
Although dated, I can see me living in a place like this! Only thing I would change is expand the kitchen (and there is plenty of room for that). Great explore Brent!
It's very cozy. I love the coloring of the wood especially with all the sunlight on it. And it's unique that it has such a traditional banister on such a modern style stairs. Thanks for sharing!
Love these videos, so nice to see this house hasn't been vandalised. The wooden stairs are amazing and in great condition, I agree, these could be saved and used elsewhere. Looking forward to the next explore.
Wonderful explore and the drone fly over really showed the poor condition of the shingles. Big place with lots of custom touches like the sunroom. Thank you for going into each and every room, space and out buildings. Luv that you take your time with filming and editing it really shows. GREAT Explore!! 💖💖💖
You are my favorite explorer, sir. Not only for your respect for the places you visit which other comments mention but mainly for your sheer bravery. I would NOT be stepping with such confidence.
Great Explore! You're spot on it's '70s, having grown up with all those fixtures and wallpaper it was very nostalgic for me. Was a fine home for a family, now they've all gone off in different directions. Also your music at 23:23 was wistful and beautiful, very enjoyable. Cheers Big Guy!
Like yousaid Brent it is a beautiful house and I wouldn't mind having it and out a new roof on it needs some floor work in the house but I think that all the walls were in good shape and clean. Would just have to get rid of all the junk on all the floors and it would be a great home to live in again. Thank you for showing that nice house Brent.
Never leave them. I'm trying to find at least 1994 for my family and I to move to, but I am a little discouraged at the moment. I'm thinking somewhere in rural Missouri or Kansas. Perhaps the cultural and spiritual degradation has not spread throughout the heartland yet.
What a beautiful house I could quite happily move in there tomorrow give the house a good clean patch the roof up it would soon be a lovely home again great explore
Hi Brent!... Boy, you do a great job exploring abandoned locations! I have a number of explorers that I follow on TH-cam, and you are my favorite. I was born and raised in Ohio, so I was geographically close to Canada, and have always been in love with that country. I live on the Gulf Coast now, South of Mobile, Alabama. Well you take care my friend, and keep those great videos that you produce, coming. Your Southern friend... Chuck
Beautiful house Brent, somebody at some point way back when ,put some money into that place, with the Sauna and stuff in the basement, love the woodwork all through it, the downstairs oven was a little odd though, and the black bathroom fixtures, but, yeah, great place and nice to see that's not vandalized it's a shame if they do knock the place down, because with a little bit of money it wouldn't take much to bring it back, gonna buy you a Ko-Fi , stay safe, catch you on the next one
That house is so beautiful in side and needs a little work but everything looked so shinny clean in most of it and again I hate hearing that they are going to demolish it again and I wonder why they moved out. Great show around again Brent. Didn't look like there was any vandalism in it. I agree about the stairs needing risers.
It’s nice to watch your video before starting my day😃 thank you for sharing great videos to us🙏🏼 looking forward to the next one😃❤️ Goodmorning from the Philippines 😃
Cool house, I love the ones frozen in time. I'm with you, love the sun room. I have to mention I was happy to learn you & Ethan know each other! Love you both! Love, hugs & God Bless you 💕💕
I love this house 😍The funny kitchen that's small yet somehow so spacious. The sunroom, sauna and never ending storage spaces. Adding just a few updates and getting what's already there in working order... would be a great house to live in. Truly sad it's getting torn down. Some love & care & it could stand for eons.
Can tell at one time this was a very nice home from the drone pics. Hope they will be saving items they can for reusing.. loved the wood burning fire place down stairs. Loved the sun room also.. thank you for the explore
Looked like late 70s to me...not a stranger to those " open windows"in walls as my father-in-law did that to a few places too. The basement was an odd fit. The place seemed clean and almost livable, the rough basement was a surprise! Nice change, thanks for the tour. ☺
Is that what you are calling those creepy mirrored recesses in the basement? That little room with what looked like mirrors you can see through from the other side? That seemed super creepy to me, esp since we didn't get to see the other side of them.
@@Humusbeings no, referring to the holes made in solid walls for no reason. Takes away valuable wall space and makes it harder for furniture placement. Not a fan.
You changed your icon! :-) I am going to go to your archives. You KNOW how to do this! I am impressed. You capture everything as if we are there. Kudos, Young Man!
Wow takes me back to my childhood! They definitely had an obsession with tv 📺 and air mattresses 🤷♀️. My house had switch plates the exact same 😂 That upstairs bathroom 🚽 hideous comes to mind. Funny how the main floor kitchen was in the worst shape. Btw parkay flooring is a horrible to install and to lift up back breaking and tedious! Thanks for the retro trip! 😊🥰🙏
The house isn't in that bad of shape considering. It looks like it was well constructed with a few nice upgrades. Kinda like the black bathroom fixtures. Nice fireplace with insert. Sunroom would have been nice and cozy to have your morning coffee. That window did look like a Tim Hortons drive thru window.😄 Like all the wood and spacious rooms. Very tragic. What a waste. The family seemed to have money. Thanks for taking us Brent.
I must say, it is nice to see that someone didn't walk out and leave all of their belongings. Love the wooden staircase. The wall oven in the basement is just like whaaaaaa, whyyyyyy hehehe lmao. I dunno. There was what looked like an older fridge back in a corner, you didn't get too...am sure if it was like the rest of the house, it was clean. Brent, always fun spending time with you during your exploring. You da Hottie. East Coast here
Wow this home looks like the 1 use to live in feels good to go back in history as i was a kid. Thank you Brent love this explore you did so awesomely well narated. Your friend Barbara from FL.USA:)
Hi Rocky 💪🏼😉! Thanks for taking us along. I really like this house. All the wood and sunroom…..lots of potential for a great home. Gotta love a clean bum after a bidet 😁👍🏼🤣. ☃️❄️🥶Stay warm 🙋🏻♀️
Another great find. Not as drawn to the younger places…old homesteads are the best. I’d love to just see and touch these things and places and catch their vibe…..thanks for sharing…🙌🏻💙
I love love this find awesome..Wish I had just the. First floor section dropped in my yard..better than what i live in..be nice if they could relocate some of these homes..Very beautiful thanks for the share love it very much..nice sunroom id set and have coffee and watch the birds with you..Keep up the great work Love your finds alot..Keep it up and stay safe..Love from the states..❤❤

Hi your 100% right about Brent.
Most explorer channels I've watched show respect for the places at least on camera so I don't know what you're talking about
I just subscribed to the channel because not only is Brent's content incredibly interesting, but also because of what you articulated Henry ! 🇨🇦 Great stuff Brent.

Seeing a new video from Brent is like having a best friend drop by to say hello and knock back a couple cold ones! 8-)

But only after he opens your fridge to see what's rotten inside. 😆

Clean it up and fix the roof and I'd live there right now. I really enjoy the 70s decor and that house has a lot of life left in it.
Yes just the way it is but after and inspection, cleaning, power restored and new old furniture and a way we go.
Totally agree!
What a delightful, open, inviting home!!! This would have been a dream to live in! I love especially the glasses in room and view, the kitchen, and the fireplace, and use of colors. Thank you for this enjoyable find!

I love vintage houses. 80s-90s is my favorite but this looks like the kind of place I'd visit my grandparents in if I had any.
Oh 😳 this absolutely reminds me of a house I lived in!! Amazes me what people leave!! I can watch your posts for hours! 🇨🇦☺️
That they left well it happens but that no one bought it and took over where the last owners left is what surprises me!!!

The switch plates, from the 70s, were my parents upgrades to their 1950's home...🤗 loved seeing them again.
It doesn't look extremely bad. Very dated but decent shape. Could this home be rehabbed?
Great explore Brent! A great find. Thanks for taking us along my friend!! Love those remote controlled aircraft.
