Since many people were already asking me to start doing videos about coins I decided to do it. As I said in the video, there will be 4 videos total of me talking about coins and the various uses and everything related to them, this being the first one. I hope you guys enjoyed this, I put a lot of effort into it and stay tuned for more coin stuff~
Myst. question. if all servant coin where to be sent to the mailbox does that mean older stored items in there will be pushed out?! cause I imagine an influx of servant coins incoming
Hyde seems great with 20% append battery and an mlb demonic bodhisattva. Imagine a 3 star berserker, whose baster cards hit like those of an ssr one with the star absorb of an assassin.
Its a good thing they implement servant coins for over grail (lv 120) and append skills. But i have concerns about it.... - Some servants need a specific material and they can only farm them through LB 5.5 and above. - One of the example is artoria saber's append skill material requirements which is Demonic Flame Hōzuki, which will drop in LB 5.5 heian kyo. And if we follow JP sched, it will be release in Dec 2022, so its a bit of an issue unless lasagna will do something about it. - Another thing is, over grail leveling to 120 will be more difficult for NA players because they need to farm more 4 star exps and its not enough. They should implement the 5 star exp farming on daily quest. We won't know when. Update: They finally answered my concern. Future mats will be drop on the events, etc and higher nodes like 5 star exp cards, qp etc will be added on a later date. Sasuga lasagna 😂
yeah, that's one of my concern. I spend a lot of apple to lvl up my Morgan from 100 - 102 in Jp and that's using a 5* exp card. now imagining im upgrade my servant in na with 4* exp card, that's gonna be hell

The story-locked/limited 3 stars not getting coins retroactively is such bullshit man, especially since the limited ones are basically just as hard to get as any other limited servants since they're only in specifics gudaguda banners
I'm very curious how Append Skills will work for materials that aren't available yet. From what I hear in the early days of FGO some servants were stuck for this reason. I'm guessing it will be the same here, but we will find out in a few days. As an Illya fan I plan to use the Append Skill for her, but she will be stuck since she needs LB6 mats.

the only viable servant to upgrade to level 120 without spending a lot of things is chen gong. because we all know that chen gong is very OP, and upgrading a 2☆ servant to higher levels is more easier and cheaper than upgrading a ☆5 servant. come to think of it, if we want to upgrade a ☆5 servant to level 120, we will need a ton of coins and a lot of QP, not to mention more copies of the servant. to take a servant to bond 15, you all know it takes a looooong time. with chen gong, we can just roll on fp gacha and we will get tons of chen gong coins. going to upgrade him to 120...
Looks like a bug regarding coins obtained. All characters received correct coins for their bond. Only 4* units received coins for summoning. 5* units did not receive coins for summoning. (This is bugged)
Simple and straight, great vid and yeah, it's a pity that we won't have coins for welfares and limited 3 stars, but well, let's hope they'll improve this system on JP soon to have it later on NA
Oh shit, I've been playing fgo for a year now, and up to now I've only taken SALIERI to level 100 with skills up to ten. My plan was to get him to level 120 ... Shit
On that regard, I think you **might** just have it easier becuse it's Salieri. For what I have seen in the wiki, the next class-specific banner should be around March 2023. I know it's next year, but the extra-class banner is known for being an easy way to get Salieri and I can confirm, I got him NP5 with a single roll in the previous class-specific banner. You should keep an eye on that banner specifically! Other banners where he has a rate-up are not as good as the class-specific. I am confident you can get enough coins to get him to 120 and even to unlock all appends, especially when he is story-locked - you will get 30 coins for each summon.

Bond is automatic from what I remember same as np spooks adding to your coins. The only thing that isn't is coins for 1-3 stars when you rolled then like if you get a cu today that won't add to his coins. Only bond

Ssr units I say space Ishtar kama artoria jalter and melt runner ups Dante's Voyager okitan jarcher ereshkigal bb summer musashi summer gilgamesh Arjuna alter yang as these units would be either broken farmers or just enjoyable Characters. Sr wise melt lancer emiya jalter zerk okita summer hokusai saber if they give coins for her. Cas Gil the knights of the round for some really strong loops and very likeable personalities. Add more if you like I'm blanking on more units.

Ember farming is going to be a massive pain in the ass. My Sigurd and Siegfried will have to wait a lot to reach 120... especially when I am saving embers for Castoria.
I have 210 servant coins for Altria Lily and I have no idea how the math works out for that. She's at BL6, so that's 30 coins, and I've pulled her twice from the FP summon, so that should be 60 more. If welfares from before the update don't give coins, then why do I have more than 90? Unless they retroactively consider her not to be a welfare, in which case I would also get coins for my first five copies of her, but that doesn't make sense either because that would mean I should have 240 coins, not 210 (if those copies are worth 30 each). Yes, I know the coins are still bugged at the moment, but the bug only seems to be affecting SSRs that were summoned before Olympus. Unless that bug affects the FP summon too (I got my second copy of her from the FP summon very recently, but the first was a while ago, probably before Olympus, so maybe I got coins for the second, but not the first).

Yes. Do yourelves a huge favor and keep a note of every four and five star servant and their copies that you have. This information is very useful if you ever lose your account from your phone being destroyed for example. Your knowledge of your servants will be partial proof of who you say you are.
Can't wait to bring my Sitonai up to 120. Given how many copies I pulled, her current bond level, and having almost 1100 gold apples I'll be set. Assuming the 5 star ember nodes pop up right away. Otherwise I'll just do the append skills and wait out for the better embers
So limited units... probably not getting maxed out like my summer Artoria. I'd heard about these coins and going above 100 level cap, didn't know about the apend abilities, definitely didn't know we could merge them into holy grails, I assume you probably want to use your thousands of Mata Hari coins unless you love her for that (or if you do love her after you've made sure you can max her out). I just wanted to know which I should focus on, getting units above 100 or appending skills... but merging into grails changes things now I'm even more stuck.
I have Kiyohime Lancer, unfortunately she hasn't had any reruns in a while, but she's Bond 10 almost 11, NP1, and she's level 100. I got 130 coins which is correct and fine according to the coin collection walkthrough, Im not 100% f2p but I can never get my Kiyohime Lancer to level 120 or get her all three new skills. Am I wrong to think there should be something, that'll allow those of us that aren't giving an arm and leg to play, the ability to grind the coins for past servants we like?
@Myst, Is it possible that if I have my Present Box almost full, then after the update goes live, it would delete any over the limit stuff out? Or am I just being dumb? Im pretty sure the mailbox will go temporarily over the limit so you wont lose anything. Just claims the coins when the update goes live and your mailbox should go back to the way it was before that.
So does that mean when it comes out, I won't have any way to get a welfare like Ryougi shiki (assassin) beyond level 100 or give her appendix skills? Since she doesnt gain coins and has no rerun anytime soon if ever... If it is this way that is very sad.
Sadly the only way for you to get coins for her are from Bond levels, up to 180 coins from Bond 15 but that wouldn't be enough for lvl 120 let alone also getting append skills.
genuinely how in the world am i supposed to get coins for my grailed ryouma, since his event isn't ever going to rerun again? would his coins be in the shop for all gudaguda events? it's really confusing
I think there are issues in the servant coins update, my space ishtar is np 3 and it is already bond 6 but they only have given me 30 servant coins for her
what happened if you sold the servant after you pull it? Do the coin disappear or it stays? I pulled Lily Altria last night and already have her at NP 5. At this point my inventory is almost full so I want to burn her extra copy.

I personally think that in most cases, the battery is more useful to have. Unless you solo with her all the time whenever you can then I would go with the battery.
Seeing as you technically don't Summon welfare Servants (they're already there in the event story), and their NP copies are locked behind missions/shop/etc, no, you never get coins for them. Their coins are going to be added in their event shops.

Pretty sure you only get them from Bond levels and LB6 does increase her bond cap to 8, I assume 7 will further this again

Yes. Do yourelves a huge favor and keep a note of every four and five star servant and their copies that you have. This information is very useful if you ever lose your account from your phone being destroyed for example. Your knowledge of your servants will be partial proof of who you say you are.

Can't wait to bring my Sitonai up to 120. Given how many copies I pulled, her current bond level, and having almost 1100 gold apples I'll be set. Assuming the 5 star ember nodes pop up right away. Otherwise I'll just do the append skills and wait out for the better embers
So limited units... probably not getting maxed out like my summer Artoria. I'd heard about these coins and going above 100 level cap, didn't know about the apend abilities, definitely didn't know we could merge them into holy grails, I assume you probably want to use your thousands of Mata Hari coins unless you love her for that (or if you do love her after you've made sure you can max her out). I just wanted to know which I should focus on, getting units above 100 or appending skills... but merging into grails changes things now I'm even more stuck.

I have Kiyohime Lancer, unfortunately she hasn't had any reruns in a while, but she's Bond 10 almost 11, NP1, and she's level 100. I got 130 coins which is correct and fine according to the coin collection walkthrough, Im not 100% f2p but I can never get my Kiyohime Lancer to level 120 or get her all three new skills. Am I wrong to think there should be something, that'll allow those of us that aren't giving an arm and leg to play, the ability to grind the coins for past servants we like?

Im pretty sure the mailbox will go temporarily over the limit so you wont lose anything. Just claims the coins when the update goes live and your mailbox should go back to the way it was before that.
So does that mean when it comes out, I won't have any way to get a welfare like Ryougi shiki (assassin) beyond level 100 or give her appendix skills? Since she doesnt gain coins and has no rerun anytime soon if ever...
If it is this way that is very sad.
Sadly the only way for you to get coins for her are from Bond levels, up to 180 coins from Bond 15 but that wouldn't be enough for lvl 120 let alone also getting append skills.
genuinely how in the world am i supposed to get coins for my grailed ryouma, since his event isn't ever going to rerun again? would his coins be in the shop for all gudaguda events? it's really confusing
We get coins 2 years early, but we'll probably get pity 2 years late.
I think there are issues in the servant coins update, my space ishtar is np 3 and it is already bond 6 but they only have given me 30 servant coins for her
Yeah, they messed up and some coins are missing right now, hopefully they fix it soon.

what happened if you sold the servant after you pull it? Do the coin disappear or it stays? I pulled Lily Altria last night and already have her at NP 5. At this point my inventory is almost full so I want to burn her extra copy.

I personally think that in most cases, the battery is more useful to have. Unless you solo with her all the time whenever you can then I would go with the battery.

Welfares don't get retroactive coins, I get that. But do you still get on summon coins (30 per copy) in all future events, like Hokusaber?
Seeing as you technically don't Summon welfare Servants (they're already there in the event story), and their NP copies are locked behind missions/shop/etc, no, you never get coins for them.
Their coins are going to be added in their event shops.
