    Hello mate. I enjoy your videos. I fish in North Wales for pike or trouts. Just a friendly advice…try some Duo Ryuki Spearhead or Smith D-Contact lures on those waters, they are a bit expensive but amazing lures

    • @TheFishist
      @TheFishist  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate! Glad you enjoyed, and sorry I'm so slow responding! I've lost many a Ryuki mate! Great lures though, but as you say they - they are expensive. The quality is crazy though

    I really like your video. Just a little bit of my personal guessing, I’d like to see if drifting a 5g spoon would get any more luck, Like Daiwa Crusaders 5g.

      Thanks for the comment mate! I’ll definitely be mixing up my approach next trout season! Spoons and soft plastics galore!

    The deckchairs were a bit random, but the fishing was great - thanks

      Thanks a lot my friend, those chairs were an eyesore but they served a purpose to take the weight off! You're very kind! Cheers!

    Hi mate, I’m just getting into bfs and got a load of the zoner minnows, what braid to leader knot did you use and didn’t quite see if you tied your your fluoro to the split ring or direct to the minnow? Love your videos and footage by the way, looking forward to seeing more👍🎣

    • @TheFishist
      @TheFishist  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there buddy! Sorry for the delay in responding!
      I use a simple 4-Turn water-knot to attach my leader! Just my personal preference as it’s super quick and easy to do on the bank or whilst in the water!
      I always tie to the split ring as it doesn’t hinder the action of these small lures attached in this way!
      Glad you’re enjoying the videos mate! There’s another one in the pipeline, it’s just finding the time now I’ve returned to work!
      Thanks mate!

    Hey I hope you can help me..I hesitate between Benkei 65UL and 67L..usually I use small crank and minnow bait for chub and asp fishing..what do you think which model recommended for me? Thanks a lot!

    • @TheFishist
      @TheFishist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've not got a huge amount of experience of using cranks for Chub and Asp, but I'd say it's likely the 67L would be suitable.

      Thanks all man, I appreciate that 🙌 In this video I was using Sufix 832 in 13lb, but I've gone to Shimano Kairiki 0.06mm 5.3kg now! I'm preferring it so far!
