No, George Steinbrenner would not have fired Boone because he would NEVER had hired a person to be Manager with no previous MLB managerial experience to begin with!
Maybe the Hamburglar is available.
Hahahaha!!
😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂
Tiki on baseball talk is like Evan on the view. Just doesn't work.
I would dfa gleyber and I would’ve made sure we had a legit third base this year.
You're winning the division by 1 game 😂 and the Os already have the series advantage over the Yankees. Plus, the Yankees have had an easy first 70 games .
And DFA Gleybar Torres. He's demonstrated lackadaisical play and countless errors that usually leads runs for the opposing teams for a long while now. This just didn't start last month.
Hal is the owner its his fault. george would have signed Bellinger and Soto together Why because he hated losing. Sometimes you got to go the extra mile.
It's really looking like Hal is in over his head. When your payroll is in 300 million dollar area year after year. You have to get much more out of the players. When fans are paying 200 a ticket to see your team, demand perfection.
Yankee pain is fuel for my soul!
Lucky you. But the only thing that actually pisses me off more than the Yankee haters are the blind and overly optimistic Yankee fans on social media who are yelling "2024 is our year!!!* The guy wearing the pink shirt is one example of what I am talking about, and I say that as a longtime fan of the Yankees. Pfft!!! LOL!!!
LGM 🔥🔥
Lol calling vladdy a super star is preposterous
He’s been on a steady downward trajectory ever since he’s near MVP season. He would be a classic case of somebody the Yankees bring in and the fans turn on him instantly because he’s just not up to the hype.
Being back Joe Girardi immediately if not sooner
We just did this with the Mets. They need to make a couple small moves but they will be better
He would talk to the front office and make moves and changes he would fire everyone
And fire Cashman if he does not successfully make trades this upcoming deadline! Cashman has been an ongoing problem since George for this club. Many wrong trades and non-trades and this why they haven't won a WS since 2009!
Empezar a botar cashma Boone un atleta cuando llega a los 30 empieza a decaer los reflejos no es igual están perdiendo el tiempo con esos jugadores
I would stop watching the Yankees if they traded for Vlad. Dude hates them
Yankees have two superstar bats and 7 guys going cold. And Shaun's answer is "Have three superstar bats and 6 guys going cold". Do NOT go for Vladdy.
I think his pending free agency is weighing on Gleyber's mind knowing that this could be his last year with the Yankees. He is not Aaron Judge who reacted differently. Take Sparky Anderson's rule about the 3 categories of players and how to manage them. Maybe the counterintuitive approach would be to offer Torres a one year incentive laden contract for 2025. Maybe this will help him refocus on playing the game. He's 27 years old so I don't think he all of a sudden forgot how to play. Just thinking outside the box.
Barber knows nothing about Baseball
George would fire his son for ruining his team
Fire Cashman and Boone
Wait so Yankees or Mets win wear both hats wtf
They just got dog 🐕 walked by the Blue jays
Steinbrener would call a meeting and put Costanza on it and then he would eat an egg plant calzone from Piasanos. 😊
😂
Evan right for once...but lets go mets!!
If im the Mets, I would 100 percent trade Mcneil for Torres
Have fun dealing with a bonehead who thinks he’s a power hitter and only tries 30% of the time.
george would not have any og the guys that can't hit like jones, grissum, oswaldo, torres. LaMehue, either catcher. there are so many hitless wonders on this team
Shaun is TRIPPIN trading Spencer Jones for Vlad..... HELL NO
This is not a Boone problem,it’s a Cashman problem
Evans right it's 4-9 that needs to be improved
George Steinbrenner likely would give Aaron Boone the next 16 games to fix this. That’s how many games they have left before their All-Star break the last three coming against Baltimore. And if it’s not fixed in the next 16 games he’d get fired.
How is it Boone’s fault? Yeah he hasn’t been great, but the problem is the roster.
@@Brian-lk5fx
Roster was amazing for 70 games...
Top ERA and top 3 offense..
Actually not George is very loyal he plays very hard and would not embarrass him Torres is another story
What would Dan Topping and Del Webb do? What would Colonel Rupert and Ed Barrow do? Who knows or cares? Why? Because no one gave a crap who owned the Yankees.
If only Miller Huggins was still around. If only Joe McCarthy was still around. If only Casey Stengel was still around.
Enough already with the Steinbrenner nostalgia.
Does anyone remember 1982-1995? Does anyone remember the ridiculous managerial firings? Does anyone remember GMS3 alienating Yogi, one of the most beloved Yankees ever, for 15 years from the Yankees such that he had to go hat-in-hand to Yogi to get him back.
I hope GMS 3 is spinning in his grave. Better that than him running the Yankees.
"Compartments underneath, that's probably where it is! Okay boys, let 'er rip! I'll tell you what George, starting tomorrow no more desks--just Lucite tables and four legs!"
--George Steinbrenner
Watch the Yogi Berra documentary.
So good!!
Stenbrenner fired him in the middle of a game.
It took YEARS for Yogi to forgive Steinbrenner and return to Yankee Stadium!!!
Steinbrenner apologized.
Brian Cashman is clearly very good at his job. The Yankees havent had a losing record in like 33 years. But I think there is an internal issue with developing hitters. Aside from Judge and maybe now Volpe, who was the last really good hitter the Yankees developed? Brett Gardner??.
What would Steinbrenner do? He would tell Cashman to sign Trevor Bauer.
I doubt they do anything for the trade deadline. They suck and they will always suck until the management changes and Hal sells the team to someone who cares about winning and not just making momey.
Yankee fans collective asses hurt. Whoops!
Tiki still clueless anything non-football lol
Fire the hitting coach
Met fans shouldn’t invest their time into Yankee Politics
Get Vlad
Cashman has to go
Cashman would be cleaning out his office right now.
Remember last year he very good in 2nd half be patient with DJ
He’s cooked
George would rehire Billy Martin again.
