  • "Yes....that was what they used to call me...Gandalf the Grey. I am Gandalf the White, and I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide."
    Today we have what is probably one of the most daunting and challenging models to paint, the White Wizard, Mithrandir himself, Gandalf the White astride his loyal companion, Shadowfax.
    A truly epic hero, instrumental in starting our 2 brave hobbits on their journey to Mount Doom and a key player in the defence of the free people of Middle Earth against The Dark Lord Sauron and his forces.
    We have a comprehensive guide detailing all the steps needed to bring this hero to life on the tabletop using a relatively small colour palette. We will also show you how to create differentiation between the various shades of white as well as shade some tips and tricks necessary to be able to create a smooth, well blended finish to the finished model.
    We have themed our Gandalf around the defence of Minas Tirith and we will provide brief instruction as to how to achieve the cobblestone look to the base but dont fret, the tutorial for that is still scheduled for release!
    We will be visiting Elf kind next week with the Lady Arwen Undomiel in the continuation of our Quest of the Ringbearer series but until then, we hope you enjoy and as always, Happy Hobbying!

      I have very little intention of ever stopping, In fact I want to increase the frequency of uploads and branch out into other game systems to eventually.

    Great video nice work, could I point out 1 small nitpick though ? You did the colours backwards, his inner robes are pure white, his outer cloak is more on the cream side

    Anyone know what he used as a primer ?

    • @PlanetMithril
      @PlanetMithril  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For Gandalf I would recommend a grey or bone primer, Mechanicus standard Grey or Wraithbone from Citadel
