- This is the first time I've put my STI on a dyno thanks to Geared Performance whom I was already street tuned by! Got some exact numbers and can't wait to actually put down some good power!

Manly Oregano I’ve mentioned it many times that I’m doing suspension first and then power.
If you honestly want power. Just jump straight to a bigger turbo and you should be all good.

That's a heartbreaker of a MD dyno right there. I've seen 250whp / 248wtq with a 2017 STI baseline on a MD before. Basically at sea level around 70 degrees. It's crazy how much dynos vary.
David Barrett my 08 outback xt with downpipe, accesport and turbo inlet has 240 whp and 330 torque

Impreza’s are such great cars. I love my RB320. The blue paint looks mint on yours and the flairs make it really stand out. What percent window tint does it have? The overall look is awesome. 👍

Mgt Gamer good luck. Hawkeyes are getting harder and harder to find and when you do find them they’re usually in the 17k+ Category for a good one. I bought a 2005 Blob and fell in love. Currently pushing 400whp and fastest old STI in my small town

@@mitchellpile1111 blimey that is a low reader then I know usually 10+ or 10- difference in dynos isn't uncommon , I get altitude an all that has an affect but I'd never of thought that much hp could get lost.

What boost psi was each car tuned at? And what was the factor in the blue STI hp increase over the white snail tuned one? More aggressive timing/tune maybe? Keep the vids coming.
you guys need to drop all other car expense and slap some AOS in those cars. Makes me cringe seeing those cars on dyno and in general without AOS

I put my catch cans/aos on the day before dyno tune last week. The guys at Fathouse Fabrications loved my setup and didn't expect the hp I made at the wheels.

snails performance does 3 pulls and calls it a day. That’s not fine tuning in my books.
SubieTroops Your boys at geared performance should’ve told you to get d AOS in those cars. That’s when you know a shop really cares for it’s customers

what's done to the car? completely stock besides exhaust? I had a 04 sti with a 3 port, full exhaust, aos, it made 316whp and 333tq at 17psi on a mustang dyno. every car is different. what are your goals for the car?

12:51 "horse power" . Very low figures but the torque seems good. What fuel (RON) are you running? If its less than 97ron its probably the cause and also why your getting smoke out the exhaust as its poor combustion

White smoke is not from dumping fuel it would be black. White smoke is burning oil.

Maf sensor ? O2 is on the exhaust, replace maf sensors yearly if possible on a subie I've been reading. Thoughts pros ?
Michael Drum never heard of anyone ever replacing them yearly. I would clean it yearly, but no need to replace. Just monitor voltage to see how it holding up.

Sounds like bad 02 sensor or blown head gasket from running gear independent tune just not conservitative.
