    Great video, as always. I would recommend wearing mechanic gloves when hanging the mufflers. The edges of the heat shields are very sharp. One slip and ouchie.

    Hey man just to clarify.. if one is ONLY installing the catback then you're suggesting to get that adapter for the stock down pipe to aftermarket mid pipe or are you saying if one is doing an aftermarket catback to an aftermarket down pipe they need the adapter? Sorry I listened back like twice lmao just wanna make sure I have it right I think it's the first one I mentioned stock down pipe to aftermarket catback = adapter necessary. Thanks in advance for the clarification 🙌

    So i definitely bent the downpipe flange😅 I notice water dripping from the grimspeed gasket, is this a leak? I don't feel any air leak from there. Would it be best if I took the downpipe off, straighten the flange back and reassemble?

    To install this exhaust, do you need the Dow pipe adapter? Or can you leave the stock gasket or do you get one from the exhaust kit?

    • @akqjtn
      @akqjtn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a different size, so you need the adapter.

    • @akqjtn
      @akqjtn  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Short answer is yes, but it's a complicated process that will cost you quite a bit and has huge potential to destroy your car. I'm not even 100% positive if that car has the high torque CVT in it. If it doesn't I wouldn't even consider it.

    Invidia also provides the exhaust adapter if someone care about to be fancy. Grimmspeed is also good 👍 good point of mentioning to clean donut gasket from rust, not many people would pay attention to this detail but that’s what gives you the perfect seal without a leak.
    I get the R400 with titanium tips myself plus the Invidia adapter and installing a week from today. Great and simple video without bs. Congratulations on your exhaust, always watch your videos with such a interest man👊😎 Cheers from across the border. Toronto🇨🇦 Mike

    How much HP does your CVT push? I have one atm and I been wanting to get an exhaust, air intake for the CVT, and a catless down pipe, and midpipe what exact parts should I get for it if I’m looking to increase performance and sound.

  • @BradlehDadleh
    @BradlehDadleh 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm curious to know which down pipe you went with? I know cobb is developing one for the 2020 specifically, but MAPerformance has a highly recommended GESI version. Will you be doing a video review of the downpipe and performance increase as well?

    • @akqjtn
      @akqjtn  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will, that is my next big mod. As of right now the MAPerformsnce one is my choice, but that could change by the time I get to it. I'd like to edit and release a few videos I've already filmed first.
