Overpriced for most of what the population will spend for a gaming device (and phone). If I'm going to spend 1900, I'd rather it be on a PC. The lack of a charger is a slap in the face. Galaxys are the new apple iPhones.

@The European Bee true, but I was saying a fully built 3080 pc. For my phone I don’t usually spend more than 300€, there is no need and I’m saying as a teenager. Older people don’t use a lot their phone and these are pure garbage, no one with that kind of money will use that phone

Watching this from my z fold 4 i bought this morning and i don't regret it... it sure is really expensive and i've never been so afraid to drop/break etc. But i took an extra insurance and it's just incredible.. i've had an iPhone 6 before and i feel like i jumped straight into the future! Hopefully it will last a couple while.

I don't like Samsung either. I stopped using s2 long before they made exploding smartphones. Samsung also weird for selling bad exynos for the same price outside South Korea, while the Snapdragon inside.

@@tanura5830 cpu is the first thing I look in a smartphone. It determines if it's high end or not, will the phone lag, will it drain battery. Then you can look at ram, storage, 65watt charging, softwares, I got Oneplus 5T 3300mah, and 8T 4500mah. High end, very fast, good 🔋, no bloatwares like Samsung. I personally like gestures, to screenshot, open camera, flashlight. For example u swipe S while the phone locked, it will open camera.

Most people just trade in their old phones. I just traded in my 2 year old S20 from 2020, and got an 800 dollar credit. Plus 100 off for pre ordering it. That's 900 off out the gate. I payed less than 1000 for my Black Fold 4.
Smartphone prices are getting way out of hand, and not even getting a charger in it makes the whole situation even more unpleasant.
Back in 2015/2016 you could've had in your hands a flagship smartphone with only 700/800 bucks, now you can just dream of getting one.
Let's take some moment to appreciate apple for such idiotic ideas

Honestly, it still looks the same as the Z Fold 3 just with a slight changes on the design and specs. If they made the folded screen a bit more wider like a regular phone and make the battery size more bigger then I'll consider upgrading my Z Fold 3 but right now, I'm staying with it.
Honestly I love the shape of the screen when it's folded I find it so much easier when I'm walking around to one hand it and be able to hit everything on the screen

It's literally the tech you're paying and the brand, but yes, a bit overpriced, but not overly overpriced in my opinion. I don't think it's currently aimed for the masses. Their target demographic are a small portion of the population, which is totally fine, because other phones out there are 100% fine lol It's def a niche market and I like it that way if I'm gonna be honest lol

@@alistairt7544 Nah bro phones nowadays are almost as hard to break as bricks but the fold can just fall and boom it’s broken I don’t recommend getting one in 2022. Maybe around 2030 when they evolve to not look like sandwiches I will try one

You act like this isn't the FOURTH iteration, theres been foldables out since 2017. The hinge is the least of the concerns, actually.
they test is thousands of times in the lab, there's a machine that just folds and unfolds the phone for hours. That simulates years of use. It's fine.

I think it’s funny how these small phones can run things like this at 90fps but the switch can only run at 30fps and it’s bigger
For this reason the switch it garbage, all the clones and the steamdeck easily run 60fps
the switch was out dated when they released it - now they are struggling to get new games to run properly and have an issue whereby all of their user base has this under powered unit. How long do you think Switch fans will put up with stripped down games, loads of fog to hide rendering issues?
It shows mainly in games released for multiple systems - the switch versions are a joke.
Everyone praises Nintendo for the Switch, me personally I believe they fucked it up by not future proofing it at all.

Would have been nic eto see the front screen in action as well. The three main issues with the fold are the too small front screen in relation to the screen width, the crease and the hinge being able to let litter in.

@@scottytrance For starters, I hardly ever use my laptop these days. I'm using my phone for nearly all my web surfing, social media, music listening, etc. So I figured if my phone is going to be my primary device for media consumption and online interaction, I might as well invest in a phone with a large enough screen to make it all enjoyable!
Second, I want to try going out to coffee shops and doing some creative writing using a foldable Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and the large screen of the Fold 4 might make doing so actually feasible. I just want to get away from having to use my laptop. I want my devices to be ultra-portable!
Finally, the camera on the Fold 4 seem to be a bit of an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 +.
The Note 10 + has been a great phone, but I have always regretted getting the "plus" version, as it's so big in my pocket. The Fold 4 will be *thicker*, sure, but I think the slimmer width will be a lot easier to manage carrying around in my pocket all day!

Today I used my Fold 4 as cutting board. I made some nice dish and could also eat it directly from the phone, because it also serves as a plate.
Then I made use of the folding mechanic and dug up some plants in my garden and cut some grass with it. Unfortunately it broke when I tried to use it as a Frisbee.. but I could still use it as my mouse pad!
Totally worth the 2000€!

Recently upgraded to the s22+ a few months ago from the s10+. Both are overpriced like a mf but I still enjoy Samsung. Hopefully the fold and flips can be more affordable in the future.
