There's alot of ways to cheese it if you know what to do. The ghost people generally are actually rather weak despite being higher leveled; Targetting limbs makes them actually rather easy to down if you prioritize them. Another set up is to get as many Sierra madre chips as possible, then find the 308 ammo codes and use thwm to essentially give you an infinite supply of ammo for your BAR / Automatic Rifle. Repeat this for stims and any other essentials. Really the hardest part would likely be inside the madre, particuarly the final rush of the vault.
@@robcassey6043 I did it on lonesome road, it wasn't too difficult, but it was also on regular not hard-core, I can't play it on hard-core I'd forget to eat and drink and sleep lol
@@IlovegamesYT123fair play. I've always found lonesome road a beast even fully leveled up. Love that we are all still playing fallout all these years later. Stay safe and all the best pal.
this is the best way to play this game. You can get to the casinos gamble out atomic wrangler gamorrah and the ultra lux then buy the good implants. Get to the bunker to start this dlc all at level one. When your done with the dlc you should be around level 8 through 10. With all of the vending machine tapes and gold bars and gambling out the casino you are set for the rest of the game.
Dude, finally a play through video! I love all your fallout videos and was wishing you'd do challenge/play through videos a la mittensquad. Hoping there is more to come!
@@ReapeeRon Hey you learn new thing about New Vegas every day. That's how good the game is. They give you options. That's what makes it great. I'm still learning after 14 years. Happy to impart knowledge.
Just as an example I recently learned that you can steal Pacers jet and make it seem like it's the Van Graff's. He'll go full aggro on the silver rush and die.
@@arifhossain9751 Some yes but most are not the devs just hid then really well. Like for one of Vera's it's behind a door in a closet. You'd never notice.
Hear me out… A FNV run where your only healing comes from eating corpses. Could be people, super mutants or ghouls, and bugs. There are 3 perks related to eating corpses - Cannibal, Ghastly Scavenger, and Tribal Wisdom. Additionally, there are cannibal related perks that can be earned via challenges
Honestly dead money would be the best dlc to start at level 1, you leave it with access to an endless supply of weapon repair kits, med x, micro fusion cells, and 308 ammo, and on top of all that, you get the best light armor in the game. And your 10 levels wiser. I guess having an endless supply of stimpaks is worth it for the caps but i always spec survival and carry food that heals better for longer than stimpaks,
I enjoy this challenge runs here's one that I recommend. Can you beat Fnv with only the 9 iron? A small side quest is that you have to kill Mr house with it for the bioshock reference and you can't side with yes man or the ncr. Healing items are fine and power armor is allowed. :)
I could maybe get to the casino at level 1, but i would not survive the lobby ambushes for sure, idk, depending on how much easier they are when you are a low level, because at level 40+ those guys beat me up over and over again. I was on very hard hardcore tho
you can certainly beat Dead Money early, but it's definitely not recommended, as you wont be able to get into the Hard locked Doors and Containers, which is crucial to truly clean the place out.
Ive only played this dlc while at max level with a good build, first time being melee. And it is still annoying and slow EVERY time. Im considering doing a new playthrough so lord help me...
just focus on Melee, or Unarmed if you get some Bear Trap Fists, the easier that you can damage their limbs, the easier that they can be downed. also, get DOG to help you, he can make short work of them, if you're struggling. on level ups prioritize Survival and Combat as Food will be more a dependable source of HP than Stims. biggest tip of them all, take it slow, it isnt a race, you just need to Survive to the end, the worst thing you can do is try to speedrun Dead Money. as you'll want to find everything hidden that can help you.
It was my least favorite dlc (because I prefer explosives builds). I saw a tip somewhere to take in Rawr’s claw, and then once inside dead money craft Rawrs fist. Cuts through the ghost people like butter! That and the light step perk to avoid the floor traps made my play through much better.

I'm very much looking forward to the ReapeeRon challenge run arc.
Thanks I have done a few in the past but I think this video turned out a bit better then the rest.
You can just shoot the hologram sensors. you know that right?
I did not know that. lol.

_some_ of the hologram sensors and emitters are shielded. Like basically all of the ones inside the casino.

Dead Money is not about letting go, it's about looting all
It's about letting go of Poverty.

very nice video! well done! would have been nice to see the full gold bars/ Elijah's clothes taken escape.
Good call!
What I love about FONV is that companions gain you XP, FO3 never had that and I hated it.
Yeah that is true.

You do the best challenge run videos
Thank you very much Dan!
one terminal where dean stay and 2nd is in gift shop upstairs left door and 3rd for optional

Do 1 level Siera Madre run with a guitar hero controller! That would be epic
Heck yeah!
RIP Mitten 😢
I would absolutely love to see a no leveling run
That could be a lot of fun!
So odd seeing Ron use vats lol.
Yeah it's a little strange.
A lot of my play thoughs I run straight to dead money
To get all that money and good gear
I can understand that, I know a lot of people like to run to Honest Hearts to great some of the great early gear.
PLEASE keep doing challenge runs it’s so good
Thanks, I got another one that I finished trying this in Lonesome Road. That was a bit harder then this one.
Your mod breaking and making your character bald?
Feels like a feature to me, just how it is meant to be!
Very true.
nice _!_
love me some dead money challenges..
Thanks, glad that you enjoyed the Challenge.

You can't shut off every one tho

i have question about did you try make dog wait and he still follow you instead waiting?
I didn't that probably would have trigger that.
Hopefully old world blue won't be so easy 😅
I hope so too.
yeah
I haven't looked back crazy far in your videos, but have you done a cyberpunk playthrough?
I did playthrough it on stream last year I think.
thanks for make this video with hardcore 😊😊❤❤
No problem that is my favorite way to play FNV.
would a man dare beat dead money without the stimpak vender?
its me. I do it. I live off of sugar bombs.
I mean RAD child is pretty crazy for this DLC.
😍😍😍😍
No, it's not the hardest dlc, it's the most annoying.

Def the worst NV dlc 🤮🤮🤮
nah the worst one has gotta be honest hearts
I don't know if it's the worst, but it can be pretty frustrating.
