So glad I decided to give this series a listen, I never read/listened to fantasy books about dragons. I haven't been able to stop listening since I began the first book, thank you for sharing
Amazing, exciting, captivating.. I keep using the same adjectives when referring to these books of this series and I don't tire of using them :) Really good stuff. Also, I need to cloak the description of one element of this story so hopefully you will get it and without spoiling it for anyone else who hasn't yet listened to this book: I admire the "Gemini effect" - that was a great idea. I think there's more potential to it than shown in this book. Maybe you can use it again elsewhere and make it dramatic :D Thank you for sharing your excellent work, Richard, it's been a wonderful ride so far. Erm, that pun was not intended but I think it's unintentionally funny lol / edit: missing "of" -> "of one element"
It's a nice change of pace to find a few books that are not a million pages lol. I do enjoy the long fantasy books, but it's nice to choose something different.
@@kenyarobards1284 I'm not sure if you're asking me, but the Dragon School series by Sarah K L Wilson is great. So is the Riders of Fire series by Eileen Mueller.
I'm sorry to hear that. Art is subjective, and stories are a form of art. I know people won't enjoy all my books, and there's nothing wrong with you liking one less than another. I'm just glad you were nice about saying it. 🙂
I'm sorry you don't like his accent, but after 6 other books with his voice, it seems like you'd be used to it by this one. 🙂 Hopefully you'll reconsider listening. I think you'll enjoy it!

I really enjoy your series. Can't wait to go through all ten so I can start the second series. Thank you for making them available.
You're welcome!

I agree. I love epic doorstop fantasy, but sometimes I need something bite sized to enjoy, so that's why I wrote them shorter.
What other kind of books do you read?

Time to slay some Gawblinz!
You know it!
I think I like this one, the least out of all the ones before it

Good
Thanks!
How many times do you repeat themes and eayings
Themes: until the underlying issues around them are resolved. Sayings are part of a character's personality. 🙂
How long did it take everyone else to figure out that "the get" was "the gate" Me? Very end of the battle - last two mentions of "the get". :D
Andrew's accent is unique. 🙂
@@RichardFierceWrites Just me not fully in synch with the brogue! :D
Is it billy speak ing
Who's Billy?
Omg! I can’t take the accent. Hard pass. You need english captions, but then that defeats the whole idea of an audiobook.
I'm sorry you don't like his accent, but after 6 other books with his voice, it seems like you'd be used to it by this one. 🙂 Hopefully you'll reconsider listening. I think you'll enjoy it!
@@RichardFierceWrites this was my first book with him narrating. I did enjoy “Steel for free” very much though.
@@Tubalcain422 Gotcha! This is the seventh in the series, so the story wouldn't make much sense without the other six as well. 🙂
