The Duke of Flies is supposed to be a decomposing corpse after an authopsy. His bloated design and the scar on his chest refer to the fact. Also I guess it could be a belzebub reference? As in, the lord of flies.

Man, when you take all the stuff from the binding of issac out of context with people who know nothing about it, its gross as hell. Like, I'm desensitized to all these guys but hearing them described out of the context of the game makes me question my sanity because I've been seeing these guys daily for years and never questioned it.
Same here. There's piss and blood and guts everywhere, and you actually go around in the WOMB and stuff, you kill your mom, you kill yourself, you kill Satan... I love the game so much, but this really made go like "huh, I guess that is gross"
Tim Jones Isaac out of context is brutal I can't tell you how often I have said the phrase "yay I got cancer" and was genuine about it or even just trying to explain gurdy like its real messed up.

This would be so great. Actual overhauls made by them, i mean, after they saw the bosses once. I´d love this.
That would be really cool; just a metric fuckton of work. Cause they'd have to draw not just one picture of each boss, but enough to accommodate all the animations and directional designs. It would be really cool, but I doubt they'd take it on.

Personally, I don't understand Mask of Infamy all that well.
My channel is Died by TH-cam the mask of infamy was originally a torture device that would be put on people who were put on public display. It would usually muffle the screams of the wearer and fit the nature of their crime. Once the mask dies Isaac is seen looking out of it which is a metaphor for Isaac feeling like he has committed some crime which, for all we know, is just existing.
I can’t believe you made it all the way through Julia’s drawing without making a “Lord of the Flies” joke.
