In highschool the school planted a small tree in the middle of the courtyard, like a sapling, and i started a whole “club” of people who just sat around the sapling and hung out and had a good time together. And for some reason people thought this was the weirdest shit, even though we were totally allowed to sit anywhere in the courtyard we wanted. A lot of people would totally disrespect this tree, by doing stuff like tea-bagging it. Super fucked up since this would obviously break the tree, because it was basically a newborn baby. So long story short, people loved disrespecting us and our little tree, and when we brought it to the office (because it was both bullying AND defacing of school property) they did nothing about it. The next year we came back and the tree was gone, and they started building a patio there instead. Naturally our group claimed this spot as our own because it was our hangout spot. Its been a while since ive been there, but i do wonder what happened to the legacy of that group. Anyway, all this is to say, i totally understand Specter becoming a villain because of a tree that he loved like family. Its entirely reasonable.

Suggestion: Draw digimon based off of their tiny sprites from the original virtual pets. Fun fact: Many early digimon were designed sprite first, and the official artwork came later, so technically whatever you'd draw wouldn't be wrong. (Funner fact: The champion/adult digimon from the original series five v-pet were repurposed Godzilla monster sprites from an earlier virtual pet toy. DarkTyrannomon is Godzilla, Flymon is Mothra, Deltamon is Ghidorah, etc.)

Specter is my favorite yugioh character, because of the sheer amount of Extra he is capable. In his final duel, he had and unbeatable lock on his field and was about to beat that season's villain, but then broke his own unbeatable lock, because his field was not "pretty enough", as he wanted to summon a Link Monster to all his Zones and create the first ever "Extra Link Full Mode". He did that, but lost the protection he had on board and was defeated on the next turn.

Suggestion: Draw digimon based off of their tiny sprites from the original virtual pets.
Fun fact: Many early digimon were designed sprite first, and the official artwork came later, so technically whatever you'd draw wouldn't be wrong.
(Funner fact: The champion/adult digimon from the original series five v-pet were repurposed Godzilla monster sprites from an earlier virtual pet toy. DarkTyrannomon is Godzilla, Flymon is Mothra, Deltamon is Ghidorah, etc.)
do you have a source on them being repurposed instead of just a reference? I looked up gazimon (series 5) but all I can find is its forms were intended to reference godzilla kaiju (and some american monster movies)

I'm only familiar with the old original Yu-Gi-Oh stuff, so hearing Karina describe these characters and reveal how wild the franchise got was very fun.

Hey I have an idea: Draw Touhou characters you've never seen. Maybe as a guest episode or something. You're given the character's name, their power, and a description of the youkai/creature they're based on, with the knowledge that almost all Touhou characters are cute girls with hats.

Specter is my favorite yugioh character, because of the sheer amount of Extra he is capable. In his final duel, he had and unbeatable lock on his field and was about to beat that season's villain, but then broke his own unbeatable lock, because his field was not "pretty enough", as he wanted to summon a Link Monster to all his Zones and create the first ever "Extra Link Full Mode". He did that, but lost the protection he had on board and was defeated on the next turn.
