Wonderful recipe. It turned out beautifully and tastes fantastic. This will be a Christmas staple in our family here on in. Thank you for sharing and Happy Christmas.
Hahah thanks, but how do you know I'm Vietnamese 😁... I just subscribed your channel, noticed that the latest video was 11 months ago. Been busy lately?
Just wanted to let you know, I decided to try this for my ham this year. The mrs cooked her usual one and I did my own. It’s safe to say the litmus test is always the kids reaction and well, we have a clear winner 🙌🏼. 1-0 to the boys
Top Tip ! Line the oven roasting pan with foil, before roasting. When finish just throw the foil away and, you won’t have all the hassle of, trying to scrub burnt on sugar from the pan 👍👍
You should not have removed the fat. At the end of the cooking you can remove the skin. Criss Cross the fat and stud with cloves and then glaze. You are after removing the tastiest bit of the ham.
I chose to remove the fat early because it would be harder to do so at a dinner party where the fat it still hot. You can leave the fat on if you like it’s all personal preference.
