Sig Kadet Senior Build and Mods

From first day of build to test flight, 84 days.
Modifications made from a "stock" Sig Kadet Senior:
Enlarged to 104% (81" wing)
DLE 20 (originally called for a .40 size glow)
Firewall moved rearward approximately 1-1/4" rearward to maintain overall dimensions
Decrease engine downthrust to 3 degrees
Materials size or composition change as necessary for strength
Added float strut mounting points to fuselage
Rudder and elevator servos are in the fuselage nearer to the tail
Sheeted foam core wing
Decreased dihedral
Added ailerons (originally was designed to be rudder only)
Bolt down wing instead of rubber band
Built as conventional gear instead of tricycle gear
Modified cowl
Modified windshield for a more boxy vintage aircraft look
Total weight 11.75 pounds. Flight characteristics are amazing.
