    I only have 1 Longines, but have admired many of their recent releases for their clean designs. Never had seen this one before though, it's a beauty!

    I really like your reviews man. As a fan of pilots watches, this watch caught my eye some time back. Going to pick it up as a graduation gift for my son.

    I usually think Pilot watches are a bit too plain but I really like this one. Great dial and the pop of red is a nice touch.

    Why buy IWC when you can buy this for 1/3 the price?!?

    Grate review. I purchased the Spirit Edition in blue with the blue leather strap but didn't get the Prestige Edition with the multiple straps. The blue is just a fantastic color (and my wife claims I'm addicted to blue watches). Longines makes some of their other watches in the 21mm; I have their USA Edition Diver in all black and that's a 21mm. Thanks again for the review.

    Pretty compelling package offered here. Really like those strap options and agree about your comments on the dial. Very nice indicies and sunburst finish.

    Lovely piece! The dial design heavily reminds me of the Hamilton Khaki Auto 38mm (that red tip seconds hands), w/o the 24hr track.

    GREAT video. You did a fantastic job with your watch review. Congrats on your purchase of the prestige version of this beautiful watch. I plan on picking one up this weekend, but just going with the 40mm blue on the blue leather strap. Love that look the most.

    Great review Toran! It wears very well on you. I came so close to buying one of these myself but the lugs killed it for me :(
    Thanks for the review, my friend!

    I just ordered the blue Spirit 42 Prestige Edition, oddly bought it strait from them. After like 4 hours of searching ended up with a discount code, which their online help certified it which saved me lie $150. Of course NJ sales tax which I would have paid if I went cheaper, 2 week wait, grey market and like $250 cheaper plus sales tax. The warranty is worth it. Longines also sizes the bracelet. Since both Swatch Group USA and myself both are in New Jersey. Should have it by the middle of the week, free overnight shipping Monday is a holiday, so don't count. I do love your reviews, you dress similar to me, and subscribed. I have watch a defecation amount of youtube reviews, non negative, nor is it a perfect or any is a perfect watch. My case would have prefered no date. Opted against black have several Stowa Fliegers, and always wanted a blue flieger style. Of course this more sport then tool watch. I also have a Big Eye, and just previous to present version of Hydroconquest.

    I liked the applied numerals when seeing it in person. Adds a lot of depth. I'm also considering the Longines bigeye avigation in blue but the water resistance of 100m of this one might win me over. I love the look of the bigeye a bit more though. Nice review. 👍

    I noticed the total lug to width ratio increases as you move from the 37mm version up through the 40mm and 42. This causes each one to look and wear differently on respectively sized wrists. I find the 37mm to have a nicer proportioned presentation. Great watch either way.

    such a good looking watch. But Oris does offer a Pro Pilot Big Date with applied indices like this. The 21mm lug width is a bummer but I wouldn't let that be a deal breaker. Great review!!

      Just make sure you ordered on bracelet, there are good quality aftermarket straps in 21mm, or squeeze a 22 NATO.

    Sleeper watch imo, case finishing at the same level as IWC. Great to hear the hand winding compared to the Omega, makes me wanna get a longines one day.

    • @VersedNJ
      @VersedNJ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Was thinking of IWC before I ordered this, but they look similar if not identical to my Stowas and both use the same caliber both have the same war history, only unless selected Stowa doesn't brand their dial or date it, and offers handwind versions, plus cheaper. Only down side, is when you order depending on the watch it can take 3-6 weeks depending on the model, a plain flieger would be shipped and received inside of two weeks. I think they take the orders on many of their watches, then wait to make that model several at a time, plus run quality control and adjustments.. They are a small independent, backs their product.

      I put the spirit next to the iwc mark 18 recently and couldn't believe how much better the Longines looked and felt, glad I bought the Longines. The iwc is way overpriced or the Longines is just really good value for the money.

    I thought that was a field watch model, it seems people confused with field watches and pilot watches style some time.

    Would you take this over the Sinn 556 since you reviewed both? Im currently debating between these two, also trying ti decide if the Longines Spirit is worth the price difference.

    • @EverydayWatchGuy
      @EverydayWatchGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you don't mind the odd lug width of 21mm, then I do think this Longines has more to offer than the Sinn 556 as a pilots watch. Alternatively, the Sinn has the better bracelet if that is important to you. Cheers

    hi, whats the difference between the prestige edititon and the non prestige edition?

    • @EverydayWatchGuy

      Just some extra straps and the box it comes in. The watches are identical

    • @stevef6008
      @stevef6008 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The straps, 3 total, are quick release, which is the reason I ordered the Prestige Ed. I don't believe the standard Spirit has the quick release feature.

      @@stevef6008 Infatti la standard edition non ha lo sgancio rapido.
