Yose Power Ebike convertion kit - my fitting attempt

- After the disappointment with the Swytch kit, Yose offered to send this kit for comparison. So here is my attempt at showing how to fit it until I can get back out on the bikes and give it a comparison.

What size battery is that and dimensions of it please
You would have been better off using Nutserts or Rivnuts to secure the battery holder, Its what I do. Secondly, I hate the look of coiled cables and you have no option to do it or, 3d Print a triangular box and lid for them, again, which is what I do. You can get aftermarket brake switches to make your original ones work. I did rant on about a home fabricated torque arm, but as you are not using a throttle and its only a 250w motor, I think you will get away with torque washers that should be supplied with the kit. That kit is totally different from the Yose kits I have used, but if it works, it works.....😉 If you want a 3d printed box and lid, let me know what dimensions it is and I'll print you one off gratis. I have learnt so much from your channel, its the least I can do.
@neiladcock8382 these yose motors have no torque. I have a 500 W very low torque but very fast when you get the moving

brake cut off's are a safety feature in case your PAS sensor or the controller malfunctions and locks on full throttle. also get a torque arm kit or you run the risk of rounding out the dropouts.
I just wish the price of bike conversion kits would come down further, it's the batteries that are the killer on cost though, not that I've actually used my bike since I bought it in 2019....... :S
My ebike eventually died but now a battery replacement would be almost as expensive as what I paid for the bike. I doubt that I'll bother, I'd prefer a classic moped, free tax, no mot and 30mph top speed.

Hellow my friend I no your work well with the Chinese diesel heater videos. That's how I Recognized you. I fitted a yoses ebike kit last year and have done over 1000 miles according to the display. Anyway I'm looking to upgrade the controller as of this messages because this Is my second controller and it also has appeared to fail so ig u ever have any advice on an upgrade would appreciate to hear. I did post a video of my installation to lol
Are you testing a new noise reduction filter, or a microphone or something? It's odd to hear you chatting but there's no wind or leaves or birds or royal mail vans
Leaving the brake lever stop switches off the bike isn't a very good idea.

To own a bicycle here. You got to have zero regard to cars , people, signs and of course traffic lights. The city spent millions to put in bike lanes. Only so bicycles with electric motors to thumb their noses.
So much the same as here then. A lot of people are just dicks.
@assassinlexx1993 studies have shown that cycle lanes (unless segregated by a physical barrier and how badly they are implemented in the UK) actually are more dangerous than flowing with traffic as car drivers think that a cycle lane demarcation is a separate lane, whereas it's actually a line to tell cars where they should never be and they dangerously close pass cyclists even when they are doing the speed limit. I have had to buy a front and rear facing camera as every time I commute some cager tries to kill me.
@@jamesemery1 this is why I got a heavy duty steel bumper for the truck . To give a proper nudge to those two wheels road parasites. To the curb.
