- Cube ONE44 is a great value lightweight ebike, starting at £5499 for a 17.2KG ebike - and the lightest weight bike is coming in at 16.2KG. Even the top of the range ebike tops out at £7999 for a superb spec for the money, and coming in at thousands under some of the recent competition.
Check the bike here: bit.ly/3V0dJdg
This bike has the Bosch SX motor, with a 400Wh battery. The motor has 55Nm of torque and 600w peak power. - กีฬา
🎉Nice. Can't wait for the full review
Congrats to Cube. This will shake the SL market!!!
I am glad I watched this video. I think I have finally found my next bike. If I can actually find it...
definitely seems light and great value
Your channel is one of the best on TH-cam. Great content.
Full power big travel Fan boy here however this type of bike will be on my shopping list when /if they have a removable Battery .
It would then be a two ise bike .
Good for 2 hr blasts and longer adventure type rides with a spare battery in rucksack
Great, thanks. And how does it work on the trail?
Hi Rob, when is that full review coming?
Yes please Rob. I’m on the fence re hitting the buy button. 🙏
I like the thought of higher density battery's in the 750wh form factor. Although Bosch being Bosch no doubt this would require smart v3 and be completely incompatible with previous versions.
Wow what a great bike.
Really considering getting a Scott Patron, and I know the voltage has just come out but is the drop in weight really worth the drop in power?
Sweet looking colour scheme 😎👍
I agree, like this matt finish too
What does high cadence mean here? 85rpm? 100?
I have a Trek Exe currenly, but this Cube looks amazing and obviously has a bit more punch from the motor. Definitely top of my n+1 list
Hi Rob! Gorgeous video. I cannot understand if this 36 Factory is the e-bike optimized or the normal version. I need to buy the air shaft for upgrading the fork travel to 150mm, and the version matters. Any idea? Thanks!
Give us a review on the Commencal meta power Sx
Great video rob, the lw segment is really coming along now. Not sure on these weird mr beast esq thumbnails however
Hi when is the full review coming ?
Maravilhosa só o top do top. ❤
This needs to be 160mm/150mm with a MX option 😎
would be nice!
Agreed!!
It than would weigh 19kg+
They do a 155 don't they
10 mm change life? Or biker ?
Still waiting for this but with a motor that does not have pedal resistance if battery is off. I don’t like the battery syndrome i get each time i go out with my e-mtb for a long ride
Cube are so underrated. Very pretty bikes at crazy prices.
Does the dropper really return that slow?
Any chance you can review the Husqvarna HC5? It appears on paper a good value full fat emtb.
Nice... You can (or recently could) get a Trek Fuel Ex-E for about 4k - also a great deal.
Really like the understated compared to my Stereo Hybrid. I do like the 27.5 wheels though just seems to feel right for me but I'm a bit of a short arse.
Headset cable routing 😞
Love my cube 160 slx. 170mm zeb, xt drivetrain, 750wh Bosch power tube, brand new for £3,250. Fantastic value.
What’s your interpretation of high cadence? 90, 100, 110RPM?
19200rpm
Queue F1 noises.
Nice one Cube! You've invented the Orbea Rise 😅
But with a decent reliable motor though.
For thousands less.
is the review still comming?
OK. Now, when battery tech improves will the platform accept new tech or will you have to ditch the bike and pony up again? I would like to see the battery weight and range improve, or the overall size reduced. Analogue bikes have always been ditch and pony, but if a component needs replacement or upgrade it's usually possible. Will the motor assemblies be replaceable or upgradable? The power source is the weak link now, and will be for some time. Weight and required placement for shear size dictates much of the integration considerations. It would be nice if all companies concerned in producing e-bikes would find an industry standard that would be upgradable. The customer comes first. Without the customer, there is no need for the product.
At least one brand that doesnt sell us "less for more"...Light ebikes shouldn´t be more expensive. Making a lighter bike by downsizing motor and battery isnt a great deal of innovation. Should shortlist this one for my wife. Hope this path will be followed by other brands. Great video!
I read that the rear wheel touches the rear swing arm, can you check this on trail? I mean you should be able to trigger that in an „highspeed“ corner
Can you recommend a 150mm conversion/travel?
Thank you :)
Where did you read this? I haven't tested the bike yet, it just arrived!
@@RobRidesEMTBtwo comments above mine.☝️☝️☝️
😂😂
We are getting there on price.
Few more k's to go yet though! 😂
Rob. This looks good but why 65.5 degrees and 140mm? If only 64 degrees and 160/150 it would have so much more appeal?
Then it would weigh more and would need to be full power.
@@gweflj why? It already has fox 36s set to 140. Just change air Shaft to 160 one. And it already has adjustable headset, just doesn't go far enough like the specialized ones do, which can change it 1.5 degrees etc...
They likely have a slot in the range that this fills.
Write to them and let them know it's not quite what you are after.
@@mtb_3930 If You increase the fork A-C then you have to meet increased strength tests and frame weight increases. But yeah, they could have pushed the geo further but I guess they don't think their market would care.
@@gweflj yes fair enough.
I don’t like bikes with the shock against the top tube like this becuase some bike racks don’t work with it
Racks that hold a bike frame by the top tube are not good for high end bikes, they are not designed for loading in that direction, and can be damaged. Get a rack that clamps onto the wheels and has no frame contact, worth the investment.
@@ryanmichels2981 I agree. If you are carting your $10,000 Ebike on an old school $50 bull horn or top tube clamp rack, you haven't set your priorities right.
Hi Rob, How about noise of this motor. Does it rattle? This is only thing that discourage me from shimano and bosch system.
I just got mine last week. The Motor is really quiet and my first ebike for the home trails here in germany many. The new battery is pretty good for a 400wh battery. If it is not enough you can add 250 wh range extender
Its nice, but headset cable routing is wrooong... Cube look at Cannondale!
Nice bike looks good but I don't like 140mm bikes 😬
Looks nice, but those small batteries, I don’t know…
where dat review @
We'll be paying £20k for these bikes in 10 years time, I've never known anything like it!
Every time a bike video opens and an accent graces my eardrums, I know I probably can't afford this and it wont be available where I live, and if it was it would cost more here.
Is 5000 a good price for a bike?
It is versus other major brands. So heading in the right direction.
No, it’s not, but the industry seems to have conned people into thinking they’re in a crisis, and £5k is a bargain!
To me it’s a bit crazy how you have to pay more money to get less
Power
Weight
Battery
600W is more than enough. I would not mind even lighter with only 300W of assistance
I'm glad that because I'm not lazy, I can have a light bike which is thousands $$££€€ cheaper.
looooolz. 55 Nm :> my 160Nm bafang laughs out loud :>
Insert internal cable routing comment here....
great value £7,999.00 LOL a price of a tenere 700
Is this the one...? Am I finally going to drop $6000 on something I really dont need but really want ? xD
Away from generic to the new generic. They're all just catching up with the levo, just after Specialized refined the SL.
Hot 🔥🔥🔥
First let’s goooo!
Headset routing?? Wtf! Not a fan.. Yeah it looks clean, but what a faf when it doesn't need to be!
8k for a bike this is crazy 😂😂😂
“Cube’s industrial designers did a great job. Definitely no help from Specialized whatsoever. Promise.
It’s way cleaner than a Levo because it doesn’t have the bulky Brose crap.
Who needs 600W of power?
That's peak power and almost all emtbs provide that.
light, lighter, broken.
Bike has very low weight limit, be careful
If you weigh less than 70Kg the bike doesn't need to be heavy duty.
Bosch motor? Lost interest.
You lost me at , battery can't be removed 👎
Can't be easily removed..
Any things possible with a chainsaw..
I guess you will be able to remove battery after removing the motor
@@VicenteOcanaplus You void the warranty,
Ah, the Apple of eMTB.
So we just ship it back to the factory for a battery swap?
We just keep making problems for the next generation to fix.
Yet another industry advertisement
Wonder how the conversation went with Cube "Hi can you send me a bike FOC, then i'll read the spec sheet with it in the background"
Maybe you can start reviewing tents from your back garden next?
Rob,
Really lazy mate,
You offered no opinion, no thought, no ride opinion, no real work usable opinions or thoughts at all
You've just made a video to show us, how you read specs off a bike
Trust your opinion a LOT, but it seems like you've stopped riding "test" bikes now
I don't subscribe or watch YOUR videos to get bike specs, i can get that from the manufacturers website
I subscribe and watch for YOUR opinion
I want to know how YOU think the bike handles
What YOU think of the new motor
What do YOU see this bike being most useful
Really enjoyed your channel, but not a fan of studio based thinly veiled adverts, so have unsubscribed
Sorry for the negativity, but i don't think you've offered anything in this video that i can't get from the bikes webpage
Really enjoyed your channel, but not a fan of studio based thinly veiled adverts, most videos seem to be going this way so have unsubscribed
Like this comment if Cube lost a potential consumer with their headset cable routing.
Bro its not an essay! great videos, informative, good vibes, but too many words.
To many words?it’s a 6 minute video
@@lee.j7077 you can do a 3 hour video with no words.
@@reignmuzeiya7432 so you want a video with no details, specs or opinion? Yeah, that's real informative.
@@streddaz read the comment again, please.
@@reignmuzeiya7432 you said that’s there’s “too many words”. It’s the words that give you the details, specs and opinions.
Very cheap for a shitty low power bosch ebike indeed...
