Washed my twists & they turned into locs lawd. Wish I had watched this video first & read the comment about leaving the roots loose & banding the rest of the length🙆🏾♀️
To anybody worried about their twists unraveling, here is a suggestion: put your twists into banded sections that are loose enough at the roots for you to be able to shampoo and massage your scalp. You can work the remaining shampoo down the banded sections as you go.
This information was much needed because I ruined the style the first time I had twists by washing them loose. I’m 1 week into my second mini twist style and was wondering how to wash them properly.❤
You can also make Fenugreek Oil at home by buying the seeds or powder & using a carrier oil like Avocado oil, Almond Oil, Olive oil, Castor Oil etc. to soak them in. I use that instead and it's cheaper + I can control the potency
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it makes me miss my hair, I big chopped, and cut lower in between growing I. I do remember it short, cause this is my second big chop. Can’t wait for it to grow again.
Love the video. As a person who is new to caring for my twist, this video is absolutely beneficial. QUESTION: I clicked the link provided for the Fenugreek oil, but all I was shown was the mask. Any assistance is appreciated.
Does yours unravel when washing? I want to start doing it but the unraveling seems like it would defeat the purpose and that I should’ve just taken them out to wash my hair
I made sure to trim the ends of my twists so they wouldn’t look scraggly. I’m taking them out next week which will make almost 4 weeks of me having them in.
@@Mlookad Yeah it’s only the twists at the back of my head that tend to unravel. I’m not sure why but my texture is different (looser) at the back of my head, so I use rubber bands.
My question is, do your twists dry out nicely? Mine never do. They shrink up and become hard; so I end up having to change the whole twists. Part of the reason I dread wash days. So by following these steps- or any other wash step for that matter, do your twists dry out softer? I really want to fix this annoying issue 😭
2024 anyone!!!!!! Brothers and sisters be careful what you put in your hair because these celebrities are doing everything they can to get you to be part of their ritual, things as simply of washing your hair with their products are enough to be part of the ritual. As many of you may know Taraji is a famous and talented actress but things we don't know is the spiritual side of the movies she does. For example, the color purple is a movie she played a role in and for this, the cast members had ancestors spirits come inside them to make the movie more "realistic". Messing with spirits and demons isn't something to take lightly and notice how other Artists like Rihanna(Fenty) and Beyonce(cècred) who are known for mocking God each came out with their own hair care brand. Now, I'm not saying they can't release their own hair care brand but these are people who aren't new to the spiritual side and if you don't believe me you can do your research. I'm not saying this to scare you but to warn you to be cautious this is coming from a sister in Christ and I pray that the Lord will keep all of you safe and if the Lord knows you need to repent I pray that he also leads you to repentence
I beg of you to stop acting like this is anything serious..washing your hair with a hairline will not suddenly make them apart of whatever you’re talking about. Besides that’s just not even how rituals work

First time washing my hair in mini twists and i absolutely loved the experience. It's so much easier and quicker, omg.
I love it too! I'm in and out of the shower.
@@sapphiredelight right, it's crazy I had no idea this is what I've been missing!!
this!!!

Nice thanks
This was my problem the first time I tried washing twists. I’m going to try it now thank you sis
Thank you for this suggestion because that is always my concern.

I tried washing my twists lol…that was a disaster never to be repeated. My hair is too fine and thin 😭
Oh no! Why was it a disaster?
Mine locs up after 1 week😂😂
If u have fine hair you need to retwist after a couple days. I personally do it immediately and then leave for two weeks and repeat the cycle.
I feel you on that same here 😞 it was a big no for me 😞
Mine not thin but it's a noo for me too
I’ve been growing my hair for 1 year now and I get twists and every time I try to wash them I ended up messing them up! This video was so so helpful!
You ladies are awesome! I am trying to learn how to do an effective protective style and you just came and took it up a notch. 😊😊 Thank you ❤
So glad to help!

Great video. You have beautiful hair!!
Your hair is beautiful and enjoyed your video. I’m just starting to wear twists and not sure if mine will stay intact as you washed your twists.
Thank you so much! I was actually surprised mine stayed intact. I think it's because my twists are on the smaller side.
Lol. The shower running all through got me.
same 😞
I wash my hair in mini twists too
It's so convenient!

I purchased your hair mask. Maybe you should do a video tutorial on a wash day with it.
Thank you Tee for your purchase! I will definitely do a video showing how I use it. 🫶🏾
Can you wash every week or do you recommend leaving a two week gap??
If you wash weekly, use moisturizing or hydrating shampoo instead of clarifying
Great video
Straight to the point
Thank you!
Super nice video and all but maybe close the tap when applying the products to your hair, because the shower was running the whole time 🙈
Look!
Your ends look so healthy and juicy! How long do you plan on keeping these in for? I’m currently 1 week in.

@@sapphiredelight awesome. I’m going to try to go for that long
Thank you❤
i have a question is it okay to put treatment in your hair while having mini twist in?
It depends on the treatment you or doing. I would suggest do something that can easily wash out
@@sunshineflowers9589 ok thank youuuuuuuuu
How do your twists not get undone? I feel that mine would
If your hair is natural and it's texture is anywhere between 3c-4c then it's not likely that it would unravel.
@@Mlookad Yeah it’s only the twists at the back of my head that tend to unravel. I’m not sure why but my texture is different (looser) at the back of my head, so I use rubber bands.
I keep my twists from unraveling by braiding my hair at the roots and then twisting the rest😊
dang i wish my twist look like that, mine look like dookie braids

Thank you for this. Your hair is not 4c though. Its 4A
Not a 4A curl in sight. 😂
I think she knows whats on her head mate 😂
