LEGO ICONS CONCORDE | Review & Comparison

- The LEGO Concorde is here and it is an impressive build. This model is one of the longest LEGO models out there at 42 inches long. That matches the length of the UCS Star Destroyer. Luckily I had just enough room on my shelf. What are your thoughts on the Concorde? Did LEGO do it justice?

Putting a tile in between two studs has never been considered an "illegal" building technique. Placing a plate in between the studs of another plate is considered "illegal" because the "LEGO" lettering on the studs of each plate bump into each other, thus causing stress on the parts.
How tf is it even “illegal”to put a brick in a wrong spot
@@Jrthemak44it's away ppl say that it can break the bricks it's not actually illegal
Something to consider, there is a recent concord magazine that is at Barnes n Noble bookstores. It goes through the history of the Concord, including the winger apron building and more. It would be nice to build( scratch build) a replica of the apron wing building.
Got Concorde as pretty much my first Lego set, and I have to say it's absolutely brilliant. It's really amazing display piece, and as said here, looks prestigious. I was really surprised how much I got for 200€ since I always thought Lego to be very expensive hobby, but this one seemed like a steal of a deal.
As above: legal.
Beautiful set, great to build.
(Yes, I think a. that could have been one pilot and two hostess - one for Air France, one for British Airways - and b. that the verb in the previous sentence may be wrong.)
That would have been a good combo of minifigs for sure.
Great video, love how you flew it around the house before you put it into its display spot. Reminds me of being a kid again. 😁👍also there was one other set with a drop down nose. 6929 Star Fleet Voyager classic Lego set.
Concorde isn't gonna land in Mindycity Airport. 🤣
Thanks for including the measurements in centimetres! Here in Australia, it sold out so quickly and you couldn't even order it through the website. It finally became available to back-order this morning (I had been checking daily!) so I grabbed one. At 6.30am, they were saying they could ship by Nov 27. Within an hour, new orders wouldn't be shipped until Dec 18th. The demand for this set is huge. Excellent review my friend, I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
I got this set on release day a little while before it went on high demand. Cuz I was gonna wait until Christmas to get it, but chose to get it on release day and not wait till Christmas for it. And I’m glad I didn’t wait until Christmas cuz I wouldn’t be able to even get one on time for Christmas this year
Great review!! 👍🏻
Thanks!
Thumbs up for the new adult space section in your office. My first theme as an afol. While the shuttle is such a boring display, its too good of a lego model, and still commands a spot in my quickly limiting space. Your hand reaches towards it to dismantle it into bags and quickly retreats, are you going to dismantle something of that calibre.. nope.
Awesome
I bought it the day after it was released. Unfortunately I don’t have anywhere to put it as of yet so it is currently on the Living Room Floor. I am planning on making space for it this weekend.
Sweet! Enjoy the build
Awesome set
Should be pilot minifigures
That technique is legal
Youll need to expand the airport😂 Kidding aside looks fabulous!
Always need more space! Thanks!
Love the airplane videos
Please review the UCS venator
That will come. Might not be immediate, but it will happen.
Does anyone know how tall it is when displayed on the stand
I happened to notice that your 60367 has its front landing gear too far up, if you move it 2 pin holes back, it will match the instructions
Thank you!!!
@@alexnunes No problem
Flat plates dont stres parts
The droop nose was designed to protect crews when going through supersonic speed there was an extra visor that raised over the cockpit windows when the nose was straight for traveling supersonic speed the nose also drooped all the way down for landing and raised halfway for taking off
Well i think lego didnt give us minifigures is cus it mircofigure scale
Agreed. This was an odd comment considering mini-figures would obviously not fit.
very good youtuber so can everyone like the video and subscribe!
Come over to Britain, you can buy it cheaper
Yeah sure. Thats what happens a 1.20 to 1 conversion, especially when its against you
The Enterprise in your office, is that brick built?
That is a Mega Bloks set. I think they did such a great job with the design that I had to buy it.
The Concorde was the first ever supersonic jet
Passenger supersonic jet
And only one together with tu 144, but we all know that concorde was better. But wasn't the tu 144 first?
@@extrakubik4123 but didn’t that fall apart in the air like three times
@Britishhistorysas That's the fact, they made it fast to be first supersonic passanger jet, but it was AN ABSOLUTE TRASH
Guys I am 11 and my mums say she will buy me the Concorde I’ll have to pay 150 and she has to pay 159 and there’s gonna be a middle year sale should I buy it and do you think I’ll be able to build it is it to hard I’ll come back everyday to see what you guys say pin me if I should and I’ll be able to do it
Too bland
