So glad I stumbled across this video. Just finished up my 2000 Diamondback Assault. I just put a brand new set of wheels on it and the rear brake was out of adjustment really bad and just couldn't seem to get it right. After watching your video I headed out the shop and within 5 minutes my issue was solved. Thanks for posting this and hey congrats on the win at Rock Hill 👍👍
My 7 yr old is gonna start the new yr off on the envy rs7 jr. I was told it depends on what cranks I use that determines what size BB to use. She uses identify cranks. If anyone can out ,it's much appreciated.
Ive put a v brake on the rear of my bmx, one pad touches the tyre and there isnt room to lower it. The other side presses the rim. Are v brakes and the pads compatible for any bmx?
Since you asked, I'm happy to share a few tips from my 20 years of video production experience. Standing off to the side is fine. That's cool. No problem. Your framing looks good. But, you need better lighting. You have nice lighting on your face and backdrop. That looks good. But, you need a rim-light. Look up some TH-cam tutorials on "three point lighting". You need a nice rim-light, shining on the back of your head and shoulders (in this video, a rim-light would have looked great if it was lighting the left side of your body). A rim light will create a nice halo-effect and make you stand out from the background. If you get really clever with a second rim-light, you may be able to backlight your bike too. Since you have a black frame on a black background, the bike just disappears. A rim light on the bike will make it pop, and be very distinct, even against a dark backdrop. Hope that helps! Great video series! I enjoy what you're doing!
@@SupercrossBMX. You're welcome. You're doing a great job. Most people make tons of video-production mistakes. Bad audio. Bad framing. Bad lighting. Bad editing. You are doing excellent with all of that. I'm impressed.
Sorry you feel that way, it is a very approachable sport, maybe not as easy as baseball, but compared to motocross racing or even mountain bike racing it is a breeze
@@SupercrossBMX. no it’s not. I just spent another two hours Dicken around with this bike he ain’t gonna be able to use it now I don’t know what the Hells wrong with it is criminal
That detail about the spring saved me! ✌️ & ❤️
Dude do what makes you happy it's your show ...sick bikes ..rad room
It took me 10 other videos to find this. Thanks!!!🎉
Glad I could help!

You can also change which hole the spring is seated into on the brake boss on the frame.

The most unapproachable sport you have to be a gear head in order to enjoy bmx racing

@@Cichlidman sorry that you spent all that time, there are plenty of good bike shops that could probably get you back on track quick.
