- This hand made pocket knife is my 25th made so far! This time I wanted to make a slightly bigger knife then the ones I have made lately. The blade length is slightly bigger then the length of a Sodbuster. I saved the pattern, if any one wants it. Send me an email and I send it to you.

Extremely informative. I'll be referring back to this video a dozen times my first slip joint.
Gorgeous knife!
Thank you so much! Glad I could help!
I know, I just commented on another of your videos that I dont write comments often, but this is just beautiful craftsmanship. Can't wait to get back to working on the knives I'm building right now. This is actually so inspiring!
Haha thanks again! I am glad you find it inspiring!
Very beautiful.Thank you sir, you have spoiled my eyes.
Lovely knife made to a high standard
Thank you so much!
Awesome! thanks for sharing. I would love to give this project a try!
Thank you! if you do, Id love to see pictures when its finished!
That's awesome work well done
Thanks!
Magnificent craftsmanship. Former Goldsmith, informs buyers the true value of your work.
Thank you so much!
That is an incredible piece of work. The most gorgeous knife - definitely your best to date. You are an absolute master at this craft.
Thank you so much! I agree! I try to improve with every new knife. I am thinking about make one like this but with filework on liners and back spring too.
I know you have said that you don't sell your work.... (I am a woodworker and I have made hundreds of pieces over the years for family and friends.... can't bring myself to sell them!)..... BUT you are SO talented Mr Inmyshed, that you have a career here as a high-end, custom knife maker. You are on a par with Tony Bose (may he rest in peace) in my opinion.
Anyway, just keep doing what you do best mate.... and if you ever feel like selling that "sodbuster" type slipjoint.... let me know!
Fantastic piece of craftsmanship. Loved watching your work and what a really gorgeous knife. 👏
Hi! Thank you so much! Have a great one!

Happy that you finally got yourself a 2x72!

Lovely looking knife and skilfully made. I'm moving off of fixed blades and I looking to make my first folder. I'm in the UK, so no locking blades and 3 inch maximum blade lengths (punishment for running riot around the world with swords I guess). Your pattern will help start me off. Many thanks.
Outstanding workmanship 👏👏
Thank you!

Hi Dwight D! Thank you so much! I am making 3 more about the same now. Gonna test out some different styles with the bolsters and scales.
A very elegant edc knife I am hoping to make an Elmax blade puukko soon but the heat treatment is putting me off but yours is a bit easier to obtain 👍🏻🇮🇪
Thanks! I understand. I did not start using Elmax until i got that heat treat oven from Evenheat. Do you have an IG where u post your knives?

Beautiful! Do you design your knives by hand or do you use CAD?
Hi! Thank you! No I sketch the ide, then start going over it with the ruler and compass. I do however want to learn CAD. I just don't have time for that yet, hehe.
Beautiful knife in a very useful size. I see the blade has jimping, which is somehow a requirement these days. I can't wait for that fad to die out.
Hi! Thank you! Why do you not like it? It does give some extra traction to you thumb.
Your jimping was very tastefully done. I actually don't mind it on your knife. I guess I am reacting against jimping in general, as I feel it doesn't add much to the functionality of a knife, some makers are putting big, tacky looking and uncomfortable saw teeth on the spine of their knives, and it makes the blade harder to wipe clean after use. I think a knife is generally more elegant without it.
I feel a bit silly for asking so long after the video upload - but doesn't sanding down the peened pins negate the peening? Or does the process allow enough bulge in the material to allow the pins to hold everything despite the peened head being sanded away?
Hi! the holes are chamfered, so when the pins are peened, they expand into the chamfer on both sides, creating a strong mechanical bond.
Gostei do seu trabalho, me inscrevi...
Muito obrigado!
Great work! Where did you get the stamp with your logo made?
Thank you! I ordered it online from a business in France. If you send me an email, I can send you a link.

Hello everything is fine? I'm watching your video and I really liked your work, I'm a fan of pocket knives, I'm Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro, I want to do something similar, can you? I have cutlery like Robby, I'm an amateur but I make some good knives, a pocket knife I haven't tried yet, a hug
Hi! yes, thank you! You too? Its kind of hard to get what you are saying. I bet you used some translator software that messed something up. Good luck with your knives!

The crafting of the knife is good 👍🏻.
Shooting and camera - NO 😐.
Hi! Thanks! Can u tell me what you think is bad with the shooting and camera?
@@Inmyshedи It was taken from very close - the field of view is small.
Lack of focus - bad camera.
Speed x20 ... it is not at all clear what and why you are doing.
Low sound.
The shots are dark - shooting from close and bad camera, lack of lighting.
Incorrect camera perspective - the viewer is confused about what he is looking at, it looks like a "horror train".
...
🤷🏻♂️
Oki! I will try to take this with me in to the next video.
