Thank you, But we can't take all of the credit, it is always an option for the customer to choose every part of the build. Some credit goes to Mr. Yester, we only provide all the specs and recommendations so he can make informed decisions. Mr. Yester is the one that tells us how he wants his engine to look and what horsepower he is wanting. Here at Butler Performance we Custom Blueprint all our Engine builds to match the application, Performance target and price that the customer is comfortable with.
Butler. Legendary. How much power have you been able to get out of a non-stroker, non-squeezed 428? (punching the holes bigger is okay, for this question :-) I'd love to see what *full optimization* can do for a stock crank and heads.
Toni the Tiger GREAT sounding Pontiac motor. Which I got full rebuild on 400 meaning better not the best but better performance parts bore 30 over new pistons cam intake manifold 750 carburetor long tube hitters etc… but my question is do I make my 3 speed transmission a 4 speed? I’m just A old school cruiser with a some spunk 🫡
I have a 69 XF coded 428 with #48 heads and factory cast exh manifolds. Can you freshen this motor to get me at least 510 lbs torque using those parts?

Man would I love to see that thing run down the track! This is Butler muscle!
I've got an old school tri-power 428 build in a 64 GTO at 500 hp. just curious as to what a mild build comes to horsepower wise.
Figured it was stroked..but still very impressive! Those are axle twisting numbers
So gentlemen, what did this "mild" build cost the customer? 654 lbs is not mild!!
