I adore Mad, he's a character. I love his mods, too. This mod, in its various iterations, it's just so amazing. However... good gods does it tank performance if you're running Sim Settlements/Sim Settlements 2. I wanted to use one of these because the spaces are perfect for plopping down some plots, but even with minimal settlers it just becomes almost unplayable to walk through it. It's such a shame because his work is absolutely stunning. Thanks for showcasing all of them Feb!
It’s great to see like minded gamers doing positive videos on fallout mods I played the vanilla game before mods and dlc and progressively this game has got so much better in the years following its release I’m really happy this game still gets the credit it deserves 😅

Like you said, I think this version suits the Minutemen perfectly - not perfectly posh and clean but nice and well maintained since their focus is on helping settlers. I love the details and clicky things. I'm looking forward to more Fallout 4 videos on your second playthrough. :)
I have to admit that I am a Minutemen sympathizer. Like you, I appreciate their essentially no agenda agenda. This is the sort of Sanctuary that I wish I had. A fortress that does show the wear and tear of a group with a small budget but trying hard to make things better. The vanilla version of Sanctuary is just too grim for words and I keep wanting to paint it with a nice thick coat of fire. This option is much better and leaves me room at the river to get my water mining economy set up. The place feels big enough that there is plenty of room to avoid those settlers who deserve a good hearty slap upside the head.

As I saw on the Nex, I already knew you were gonna go with this one of course, so cool your showing off the other ones too! Thanks for that again Febems! ok so I've downloaded the mod it's fvcking great btw but couldn't put some furniture atleast the defences and food/ water supply is easy I can set them up my self but the houses are just too big and too many so could you plz add an update with furniture (for PC and PS4 cuz I only got the PS4 version of fallout). if you can that will be absoloutely amazing (the mod's mind blowing and I love it)
I love this mod. When I saw this Minutemen settlement I stopped my game and started a new game just to get this mod. I'm going to miss Red Rocket OMG, but I can't have both, and mod is just too good. to pass up The Defenses are fantastic, I heard some gun fire, rushed in to protect my settlement and when I got there whoever was attacking was obliviated; I didn't even get to see who it was.
This is real nice, i love how flat it is and you can really make a beauty out of it. Much better than vanilla.When i played the minuteman all these beautiful mods were not around, so i did everything myself. Defintily easier doing it with mods, have fun. Nice video, thanks, take care and stay safe.
Ha haha...I just grabbed the Clean version of this settlement mod a couple of days ago. So much awesome work put into this, amazing! Just what i was looking for. The minuteman one looks great, tempted to move over to it actually, seems to have a bit more on offer but with a similar layout with the buildings. 🤣
Yeh the first one I downloaded was the clean version and then I started cycling through the different options he has available and plumped for this one:)

Used the Institute one in previous runs sometime ago, if i recall i had issues with adding things to it, like extra turrets, and the existing ones couldn't be repaired when destroyed. Otherwise its fantastic alround, i can't cope with building sanctuary on my own, and all those settlers do is hammer the walls with no clear objective (maybe keep you up at night lol). Problem with Institute one is that everyone turns into a beep boop 1010101, but then again, one of the minutemen is also part of that group. Terrific showcase Feb.
Aww thanks Institute and BoS versions coming tomorrow. Not had any problem adding turrets to the Minutemen version at all - mind you, not had any attacks yet! :XD

I don't want to go to Sanctuary until it's active with this mod [kinda' blows immersion], read the authors instructions, so guessing going /walking somewhere else - like the shipping company - then next day going to Sanctuary Estates - Minutemen Version then doing the Codsworth quest with bugs ect. will workout.
@@artsensi9759 Aaah rightly or wrongly I went straight to vanilla Sanctuary from the Vault, had my chat with Codswallop, walked over to Red Rocket, exited the game and THEN installed the mod.
Nice review, but a crash disaster waiting to happen. The build area has been extended across the river, which means the Sanctuary build area and the Red Rocket build area now occupy a common cell. This causes the fast travel crash, eventually. It is a problem with the game engine. There is a technical paper on the web somewhere that explains why this shouldn't be done.
@@FebrithDarkstar good to know. Can you actually open the workbench on the little part next to the minuteman statue? If not, then the build area wasn't extended that far and wouldn't be a problem. I've had the problem with other mods, but I haven't tried this one. If the mod doesn't allow the player to modify the area over the river, then the issue is avoided. Since the mod was built in CK and isn't a TS blueprint, maybe none of the issues occur. I like the clean version, maybe I'll give it a try.
I made this settlement build, somebody redead my settlement but with mods. It's pretty crazy to think that it's the number one downloaded settlement mod in fallout 4. This is years ago but the guy that did the mod shouted me out in a TH-cam video he said hopefully I wasn't mad for redoing my camp but with mods, I got no hurt feelings knowing that it's the number one downloaded settlement mod 🤷
I love listening to your videos, do these sanctuaries have a set player home in them, or do you just pick one out for yourself? I think I like this version most, so I downloaded it. Haven't had time to actually check it out yet though.

im in love with this mod but.... how can avoid lots of annoying debris garbage like dead fences back over and over again even time when i leave game and back? im on xbox, im delete all debris and constructuions manual with STC and STS, i ll still trying delete and avoid this things, im loved this place

I had an issue where when I downloaded this for Xbox, a lot of the old houses were still there and clipping into the new ones. Do you have any idea on how I can fix it? It's the only settlement / base type mod that's in my load order so I'm not sure if it's just in the wrong location of my load order or what could possibly be conflicting with it

I just found this mod and I loved it so much. But I have an issue with the bridge, the new concrete bridge actually spawned but the old broken wooden bridge is still there also. Any solutions?

Has anyone ever tried to actually fill up and decorate all the buildings? Although it looks amazing, I feel like you´re gonna get about 3 FPS once its fully decorated
You're limited by the settlement size I guess (unless you use a mod to get around that which I do :D) - As they come pretty much pre-furnished in the main with only decoration lacking it's surprisingly resiliant! I had a great time with this mod with exterior planting and decorating my own home:)
It’s a nice mod but I’m super frustrated trying to turn on the power generator all got one of the on but when pressing the buttons it’s not doing squat to open doors or the gate. Im very bummed
A few things can be tried to correct, 1. Clear cache, 2. Try fast traveling away and approach sanctuary on foot. 3. Place mod a few mods lower on Load Order. 4. Fast travel away and create a save, uninstall mod go back into game and create a new save, then exit game reinstall mod, power off console and then load last save. This last option is a bit of a pain, especially if you've added a lot of décor, but its also most likely to resolve the issue. Hope this helps.
Not having that issue myself, I’m on PS4. All doors open and all buttons work. Maybe check your load order. I did run into 2 irritating issues though. The house across from the minutemen’s house… the front sliding door disappeared (into the walls?) after opening it so I am unable to close it and I can’t find those doors in the workbench… I also have USO and still the doors used I don’t have 😞. The other issue is I am unable to click on the switch box for the power in that same house… it’s all too crammed together I guess and no matter where I position my player I can’t click it. Can’t even find the fusion generators that were used for this build to replicate it in another area of the house 😞 I’ll probably just contact the mod maker about these issues.
ah my goodness, looked around your channel a bit more.... an everquest 2 player, ah I never went to everquest 2, But I did play some everquest, for hours and hours and hours... 57 Druid, Moranyr Greymane P99 EQ Blue server. although on live I was on Mith Marr server. I got my epic but never got to 60. bleh. but I've one more Fallout 4 question........... Any Modders come up with a way to keep the Bloody NPC'S OFF THE ROOFS?

Hmmm I had this for two full playthroughs and no issues even with my ridiculously modded games!

As for NPCs on roofs - not that I know of lol!
Those NPC's are now undergoing Talk Therapy, Post Apocalyptic Trauma Syndrome (P.A.T.S)

I was already working on Sanctuary and then put this mod and thete a were a couple glitches and bugs. But I fixed it up. Great Mod!👍👍👍👍
