- If you want to dial in your S550 Mustang Mach 1’s exhaust, modifying the midpipe is a simple way of doing this without going over the top while adding horsepower. We recently got to see the difference between the stock exhaust and our Steeda Mach 1 Resonator Delete X-Pipe and how it performs when driven hard.

Also a fan of the Steeda H pipe over the X, but both sound great. Even though you have a sound meter, most people won’t get a sense of how loud the car really is by watching a video… But you get a good impression of the tone. So use your imagination that it will be about 10 times louder in person, and you should be good to go!
Wow the X-pipe even makes the sun come out and changes the car from auto to manual too
We had not said that it was the same car, simply used for exhaust comparisons
@@steedaautosports I know, just kidding around. I’ll be buying one of your H-pipes once Ford gets around to building my Mach 1 that I’ve had on order since May.
Looking forward to when you do. It'll definitely be a fun one.
i recently bought the x pipe for my mach 1, i instantly felt and hear the difference has a raspy tone it that i like. good job steeda 👍
was it just me, or did they use an A10 mustang for the stock sound clips and a tremec M6 mustang for the x-pipe sound clips?
You’re slick - that’s exactly what we did! Same stock exhaust system on both cars. -Chris
I like the double H pipe over the X pipe personally but that does sound really good especially in the higher RPMs 💪🏼🇺🇸🐎
The h-pipe sounds a lot better in my opinion and it’s going on mine when the car gets here
well to each its own, i prefer x hipe though. installed it on the mach 1 and it definitely sounds lot more aggressive and i feel a slight power boost too
i normally hate X-pipes, but this (like the Mach 1 itself) might change my mind... I should be buying one of these soon and i might have to go X-pipe as weird at that sounds coming from my own fingertips.
See fitting Steeda stuff to your car even makes the sun come out :)
Lol at the guy that things the exhaust sounds different just because the car is a manual. It's the exact same exhaust.
I prefer the sound of the H over the X myself, but anything beats the stock “suitcase” lol
H Pipe is best mid pipe sound, and Borla is best sounding exhaust on a Mustang.
Stock sounds the Best
u saying that now but having the resonator buffers the engine hp plus it weights over 7lbs, once you remove it car breathes lot better
I prefer stock exhaust or H pipe.
why would u buy a mach 1....why
The X pipe kinda sounds better than the H on the Mach 1. I ve seen multiple video of H pipes on Mach 1's and I've had a hard time differntiating it from the stock exhaust.
SSSSTTTTTEEEEDDDDDA VVRRROOMMM. Can you fit one on my Mini please. Cool.
Sounds better stock.
Ahhh, nothing like the sound of wet flatulence.
Was the decibel meter at the same distance as the camera?
Yes, the meter is placed next to the microphone and camera.
Why didn't you test it sport mode?
Awesome! Both sound great!
I like the factory one better
Steeda should have a axle back with the Quad tips as the Mach 1, it looks very nice
Hi,
We actually do carry quad tip axleback exhausts available!
What is the difference between reg active muffler and mach?
Active exhaust is untouched. This resonator delete replaces the factory resonator. Hope this helps! -Chris
So the x pipe was quieter?
no its louder i can speak from experience since i have the steeda x pipe installed on my mach 1 it gives the exhaust note more raspy tone to it
@@draco2xx but the deciples were lower with it
Loving🐎🐎🐎
Love how they changed from the auto to the manual like they don't sound different with or w/o resonator delete
We were simply showing how the engine and exhaust (which are the same regardless of transmission choice) sound different with a resonator delete.
@@steedaautosports got it don't get me wrong I have the steeda Xpipe on my auto but it sounds nothing like the manual all in all good products just stating the obvious
Different car
