Just listened to the comparative x pipe video posted today. Even w/the stock exhaust both systems sound better but H pipe definitely for the win. It just sounds so much better. That high pitched, raspy sound w/the X is just too racer boy for me.
Im curious why you dont wear eye protection while removing the bolts under the car. I learned the hard way when i drilled my exhaust manifold and got metal shavings in my eye. Not pleasant. Surgery sucked.
@@scotttracy9333 yes. I’m using roush axle backs. Sounds amazing and I get nothing but compliments. I’m considering doing longtube headers but I’m honestly hesitant because I’m likely gonna lose the great sound
@Vayne Campbell Did you have the Roush AB before you put the H pipe in ? I have a Roush AB but after a few months I think it's gotten quieter. I'm thinking adding H pipe will help, but I'm scared it will add too much rasp. What do you think?
how difficult is this to do on jack stands? I noticed that they lowered the exhaust at an extreme angle to remove it and I don't think there is enough room on jack stands to remove it like they did. Just curious if I should cut it in place or if I cam remove it then cut it while off the car.
Actually I went ahead and performed the install on jack stands. A little difficult getting in and out from underneath it but overall not bad. It can be done. My son and I did it in just under 2 hours and that was because I ended up having to make multiple cuts.

Just received my accelatec h pipe I notice both sides have a slight bend is this correct cuz yours looks straight on one side
Don't quote me but the one with the bend should be passenger side
