Oh well have a cry. Roll up in a ball. I don't care and neither does anyone else.
I have a poem for you Richard Burick...
Richard, Richard, Richard,
Political views,
Give these chicks the blues.
Did you like it Richard? I said what you said but in a poem. So it's better.
@Jimmy Two Times bad idea but ok
My god I love this man he always manages to make me laugh and smile, thank you Ricky 👍❤️
"if you don't have empathy with animals, you don't have empathy"
Well said Leila animals are our most sentient mates
I guess that’s true but you also don’t have empathy if you don’t have empathy for humans. I think empathy for humans is more important if you have to choose than that of empathy for animals. Anybody who thinks animals are as valuable as humans are morally degraded.
@@conservativeguitarsingerjs7937 Conservative singer is most apropos, the relationship between animals and humans should be a cognate, one reflects the other, do some research on how the native Indians treated the buffalo, hopefully this help educate or vapid myopic views
@@sacredclown4179 vapid myopic views haha you’re such a smug idiot lol
@@sacredclown4179 no animals are not our most intimate mates. I should’ve known you were European from you condescending yet uninformed response but mate definitely confirmed that. Humans are humans most sentient mates..:
Ricky's outlook on death is quite interesting. Bleak yes, but comforting as well. Fantastic dark humour with the ashes haha!
Oh, I don't know. Bleak is in the rotting eye of the beholder, no? I wish that we could get over the "let's dress the dead in their best and bury them". Who came up with that idea, the ditch diggers, tailers, and seamstresses? There's nothing wrong with burying people naked and in contact with the soil--okay, with a sheet then--so that the planet can reclaim them naturally. "I nourished you for many years, now you nourish me", says the land.
A thought related to what Ricky said is that the world will carry on without you. In a world of self-importance, I find that refreshing.
When Skavlan said that his dog's urn said "dog", I was thinking, "You could have picked a better name than that. All those years of being so plainly summoned." Don't mean to make fun of your loss, S; just plugging a little levity. Greatings from San Diego, California and peace to all of you! ✌
Feels like common sense to me. Why should being dead be any different to being "pre-alive".
@Jules Thank you, Jules. If only the world would recognize the wonder that is my mind. (Making fun of myself.) Greetings from San Diego, Calfornia! ✌
@Jules Oh, so sorry! Will correct right now. I guess it would make more sense not to use Mr., Ms., etc. Lesson learned 🙃
Yes, yes. Bleak... but comforting. Spicey... but sort of chicken-y. Even round but also flattish or perhaps euphoric but a bit sicky, not to mention dank but a bit furry, dreamy yet citrus, forested but tundra, icy but mouldy.
Thought they were actually in the studio till someone in the comments mentioned that they were not. Great editing.
Thank you so much!
That look when it goes straight over their heads.
Just rewatched The Office and it's def the greatest achievement in the history of the comedy genre for sure.
No, it's up there but definitely not the best. Lily Singh is the best.
@@Revelian1982 lily Singh is the best??????? I hope your being sarcastic 😂😂😂😂
@@abhayn9615 Uh oh..another racist sexist on the loose..
That episode when they go to the nightclub - lmao..
@@Revelian1982 huh?
11:42 "Lie enough til people believe it." This couldn't be more true. This kinda reminds me of the book Animal Farm and how the animals followed Napoleon and believed in him even though he wasn't being honest because they didn't know any better and didn't think for themselves.
Actually it could be more true. Depends on the delitescence of the lie and the level of education of people.
Brillant, to me Skavlan is the natural successor to Michael Parkinson. Great interviewer
Thank you so much for that, we appreciate it!
Skavlan seems like a much nicer person than Parky.
@@moscowguitarman they both seem to be likeable people, my comment was directed towards the mesmerising interview skills, i think Graham Norton has it to.
@@PhonykingOM I met Parky many years ago. He was horrible. I like to mention that fact whenever he comes up in conversation! :)
“I’ve always got suicide to fall back on.” Lol
There is definitely something empowering about not giving a crap.
I don't fear being dead. It's the process of dying that I'm afraid of.
Well dead is inevitable. So why suicide?
@@iliaadamanthark8336
I think he means like the moments before death, like dying.
It happens before you know it!
I don't fear death, I just don't want to be there.
@@iliaadamanthark8336 suicide is basically saying i will end my journey on this ball flying around in space. I rather feel pain than nothing at all. I think the stupidest religions are the ones promising you crazy welt or some amazing king like life after death haahaha so dumb
Ricky is so good. He would be my #1 choice of all "celebrities" to have dinner with. Ricky just acts normal instead of like some snooty person, he's the kind of person you just want a beer and conversation with. My favorite comedian and person by far, until the world ends sometime in 2021.
"You misgendered my cat , how dare you" lol
