Thanks again for your thoughts on your comic reads, Carl. I'm glad you're enjoying The Moon is Following Us enough to go back and reread the first issue. It's always nice when we enjoy a comic enough that it compels us to want to go back and reread it. I will say though, I'm terribly disappointed that you didn't buy Absolute Wonder Woman, as I was really curious what you would think of it. You have failed me.
Haha sorry that I failed you. I debated picking it up, but I didn’t have it on my pull list & the only one they had left at the shop was a foil version for $8 and I wasn’t as sold on the series from the preview I saw. It looks interesting, but art didn’t instantly grab me. I’ll check it out on the digital service when it hits there.
I'm a big fan of Walsh so I'm going to need to check out the Frankenstein book. Also, I'm going to need a Rossomo page with the toad guy on it, but I know that will be a fight I will not be likely to win.
Frankenstein has been such a great read! Walsh really wanted to do this series just so he could tell this story he’s had in his head. The love for the original movie is so apparent! Oh and yeah…that character design for the Toad character is awesome and I love his backstory shown in issue 2!
