I recently got a bunch of N64 games from a local retro game store, but like three of them didnt work until I cleaned them. Its 99% of the time a simple clean.
Sitting here with an opened copy of FEDA: The Emblem of Justice on SFC, cleaning the pins while watching/listening to you clean. Watched a good two dozen of these now and I'm impressed at all the different pieces I'm able to identify just from viewing your videos. Keep 'em coming, love your channel Riggs!
IiVe got a copy of goldeneye I've just received. It starts fine but just points straight in the air so you can do anything. It's not the consoles or controller's, so must be the game. Any ideas?
The worst condition game I ever got was Quake II for the N64. I got it off ebay but the game wouldn't work so I decided to see if anything was wrong inside the cartridge. My god! I opened it up and under the shielding was loads of black dirt (maybe, I never figured out what it was) and it started pouring out onto the floor. Thankfully I managed to get a refund

Hopefully you'll get people to try cleaning their games before they just throw them away!

It is common, but you would be really surprised how often you can "fix" broken games that way.
