I know someday you’ll have a beautiful life, I know you’ll be a star, in somebody’s else’s sky, but why, why, why can’t it be, can’t it be in mine. - Painful beautiful poetry.
This song isn’t soothing-it’s absolutely devastating and heart-wrenching. You just watched a man break into pieces, and I guarantee you that he’s still not over the person he wrote this to.
He actually ended up marrying her...and then divorcing years later. What you pine for and reality are sometimes different things but the heartbreak remains.
You said you heard them so much on the radio you almost grew tired of them!! I couldn’t ever find or here them as a farm boy in Kentucky in 91 as a fifteen year old kid!! And this i did watch originally when it came out on MTV
MTV's "Unplugged" was a rock version of "Austin City Limits." Both venues valued the acoustics of the band with little technology. When you unplug any vocalist, you see what you are getting
Eddie is my favorite of all the grunge singers. Yes, even more than Chris Cornell. There's something about his voice that hits me different. "Porch" Live at Pink Pop is 🔥 "Even Flow" "Alive" "Jeremy" "Better Man" "Yellow Ledbetter"
Eddie Vedder singing Love Reign O'er Me(The Who Cover) is one of the best songs in the world! Also Temple Of The Dog - Hunger Strike with both Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell
The mumbling thing was characteristic of some of the grunge artists, not all of course but learning from some of the professional reactions i've watched they said that because of the way they're singing, to achieve a certain voice, sound, etc you can't really have 'proper' enunciation, it's either enunciation or the type of singing they'd choose so... i, personally prefer it the way it is
What the official uncensored video for Jeremy or Porch live from PinkPop. Great stuff to react to there. Or try Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog where he sings with Chris Cornell.
This is a great unplugged version. Question... why don't you guys do any Alice in Chains? Out of all the Unplugged performances, I always found their version of "Nutshell" and "Down in a Hole" to be the best
Been listening to Pearl jam for years great reaction would love to see you to do a reaction to Courtney hadwin's two new songs breakable and that girl don't live here she is now an independent hand writing and producing her own music and videos thanks
Word was Eddie wasn't feeling well during this performance and during this song after he sang...and all i taught her was everything and then said that's all he totally messed up the whole next verse..
What should we react to next from Pearl Jam?

So beautiful. I still have the Black album on cd...love it.

@@Hottiedonkey Next? for what heartbreak? Married a long time and as in love as ever so hope not :)
Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley. All unique, iconic voices that upended the musical landscape in the early '90's.
You said you heard them so much on the radio you almost grew tired of them!! I couldn’t ever find or here them as a farm boy in Kentucky in 91 as a fifteen year old kid!! And this i did watch originally when it came out on MTV

Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder are at the top together for me, but I know many ppl who prefer Eddie's voice.

You're a good man for introducing her to this song.
I have always thought this was one one of the best. I do like other folks can enjoy it aswell
Pretty much the greatest song of all time.
You think Eddie Vadar mumbles? You should try and listening to his brother Darth.
U had me for a sec there
😂😂😂
Got me too 😅
Yellow Ledbetter is the ultimate mumble song by Pearl jam
Totally got me on that one. Nice one 🤣
Eddie Vedder sings this song with so much feeling that we can feel his pain.
Beautiful woman!❤ Stay safe! 😍
Watch in concert you don’t leave without crying
Eddie Vedder’s voice can be summed up in a single word: “Grungy”
🙂
🖤
Tied to everything
First! Classic, all-time performance
It’s the best

How about some Nirvana?
Imagine eavesdropping on a conversation between Eddie Vedder and Kurt Cobain; you would have no idea what was being said.
Eddie VEdder btw

How are you a couple? Can he like his eyebrows?
Ya, you guys missed this one...

I did not watch this video all the way through -as I hate Grunge! But this singer is good!
You need to watch through to the end, you’re missing the best parts,!
