Does anybody have a sponge and bucket.....my face kind of melted......Rock on girl there is a place for you in the world of music. And your fans eagerly await your next performance
At 14 and already can shred..we have a huge talent in the world of guitar coming up to dominate Rock and Roll pretty soon...i mean all the songs she covered where fenomenal!!
Some of the best guitarists in the world, who have been playing decades longer than she has, would readily admit that they cannot perform some of the same feats on the fretboard that she can. She is a once in a lifetime virtuoso on the guitar. The combination of her talent, feel, speed, accuracy, dexterity and complexity is truly a gift from God. I know we’re not supposed to say this, but she's performing these covers better than some of the guitar legends who wrote them.
It’s not a gift, it’s practice dedication and a love for music. She didn’t pick up a guitar from day one and was able to do this. She most likely started with a different instrument I’d assume another string based instrument and moved to the guitar. This is what dedication and practice looks and sounds like.
@@imoffendedthatyouareoffended my point is that in order for her to perform at the level that she is, she has to be gifted with a certain baseline of talent which is actuated by time, practice, and dedication. Not everyone is able to achieve the same level of excellence regardless of how much they practice. She is able to play at a higher level, despite her age and deficit of practice, than many accomplished guitarists who've been practicing decades longer than she has. Practice can only take someone as far as their talent enables them, and vice versa. The combination of the two is what separates accomplished musicians from prodigies.
@@broteinshakesanders7773 false talent isn’t really a thing unless your talking about mentally writing music. Almost anyone with enough practice can learn to play something that somebody else wrote.
@@bradenstackhouse1335 songwriting and guitar playing are two separate, although often overlapping things. There are people who are gifted in one, or the other, or both. When we're discussing guitar playing exclusively, there are extremely talented players who perform certain complex songs better than the guitarists who actually wrote those songs and practiced them for a substantially longer period of time. Conversely, I know some extremely gifted songwriters who are average or even subpar players compared to certain studio guitarists who only play other people's songs, despite playing and practicing much longer.
This comment has nothing to do with her performance but to the people ranting on Yngwie. There could be thousands of guitarist able to play Yngwie's songs just as his records. But there all copying, without Yngwie there wouldn't be any songs. It's not the ability to play the songs, it's to come up with those in the first place that are the true skill.
SLUGGYSS The abillity to play an instrument doesn't mean that you'll make composer history. Look at all the philharmonics around the world which can play something perfect everytime. But so few able to make composer history. I'm not saying anything about her, because I don't know anything about her. But just don't think that instrument skills and composer skill is something that is connected by default.
Dennis Edlund yngwie is a pretty average songwriter. Not saying I could write his stuff, but it all sounds the same and it's all pretty much based off different scales. Pretty boring to me and I feel like he started writing his own stuff just as a way to publicise his ability, rather than for a love of composing. Vai is a better songwriter. But to me, the guitarist who has the perfect balance between composition and skill is Satch. His pieces are so varied and brilliant and groovy, the optimum equilibrium between artistic value and enjoyment. Just my opinion :)
Tina plays my favorite here. And I'm listening the whole time with disbelief and with my mouth wide open.... Unbelievable!! What a talent. Perfect playing, no overkill, pure talent!!
This young lady can teach the masters....she is way ahead of most people that have decades of know-how. Amazing doesn't begin to describe her. I would sell my soul for just half of what she can do.
No matter I how many times I watch her play, her playing is always mesmerizing! Why does God come into my mind, when I see Tina play or when I hear Dimash sing? Why is it that after I hear them, I am left feeling that humanity is still worth saving?
without a doubt one of my favourite covers... jesus christ, the talent... someone needs to bring you back, the world neeeds to watchi this, live if possible.
seriously who would give a younger kid a thumbs down for reaching for this....sour grapes big time...take this to 1 million views!! as a fan of Yngwie since 1985...trust me he will see this and be very proud of you.
Yeah right? I remember when I was 15, and had played guitar for 3 years. Wasn't remotely fucking close to this good. But some people are just born with it I guess. Plus hours and hours of training of course.
Some have the talent or natural skill, others don't. Those who have still need to train and practice to achieve, but those who don't will never be as good, no matter how much they practice. It's probably just human, we're all individuals with different traits and skills. This girl most certainly got it, she's awesome.
I just watched the original by Yngwie and he looked absolutely spent after playing it. Tina looks like she was thinking about what to eat for lunch after the shoot! She is without a doubt the best electric guitarist I have ever seen. I too add my voice to all those that wish to see more of her fantastic skills. (Edit) I did a bit of background viewing of this girl and I think I should modify my assessment. Judging by the way she as an 8yr could play a classical guitar, even forming chords with her small hands, she is simply a phenomenal player of any guitar. I stand in awe of you! Exceptionnelle. Merveilleuse.
and no, it is not the most insane stuff he has come up with. but she did a good job of covering it.just saying.all you have to do is of watched him in the 80's during his rising force marching out tour..he was amazing.
*_"Yngwie actually said that Arpeggios From Hell is one of the most insane stuff he came up with and she played it without giving a single shit."_* What's the most insane stuff she come up with? *_"and no, it is not the most insane stuff he has come up withand no, it"_* I think Yngwie himself would know better than you.
This is crazy stuff! Playing Malmsteen without looking at the fretboard shows how much pain and patience went into practicing these insane stuff! Tina, you are one and only!
What I love about you Tina is your humility in presenting your skill. Ive seen other women guitarists whose presentation of sex appeal is distracting from what matters most - good music. You are the whole package pure and simple.
it's pure magic. no matter, which discipline you look at: whenever an era of big genies ends, new one emerge, and they seem to carry all the skills and abilities of the former ones, unite them, extend them, integrate them, push all borders forward, play with all this stuff at ease. as if souls unite their experience and form new souls out of this.
For those of you who think Tina is bored, soulless, no passion, etc, please watch her cover of Steve Vai. If you still feel the same way, then we might as well agree to disagree. You have to listen and feel the energy coming out of her guitar, instead of just watching for some type of 'performance'. She's not flashy like most rock musicians and I believe a lot of that is because she's classically trained. When she starts playing, she goes into the 'zone' much like a professional athlete. The emotion and passion comes through the guitar. It has to be heard and felt. You can also see it subtly in her face and body movements. You can usually see her 'enjoyment' right before or after she plays. John Petrucci is very similar and I don't believe you would call him soulless or lacking passion. Maybe you prefer someone putting on a show, but I prefer her style and hope she doesn't change. For me, when you combine the ability to display the passion/emotion in the music with her technical ability and the ability to make everything look effortless, she's unbelievable and magical. That's why she has loyal subscribers and large numbers of viewers. It's not about gender or age, it's the way she plays and how people feel afterward. If she comes back playing christmas carols on a ukulele I'll pay to watch. If she chooses some other path then i'll happily support her (even though she doesn't need my support) and wish her the best. I'm sure a lot of her fans feel the same way.
"Arpeggios From Hell played by Tina S played on her Vigier Excalibur Custom." The customisation is that it is made from asbestos so that it doesn't catch fire.
@@samcree3051 oh I have 0 problem playing all the notes wrong but that fast xD. I started playing electric guitar 5 almost 6 months ago and I’m pretty close. Another 6 months and I think I’ll have stuff like this down. But I do practice on average at least 2 hours a day. Over the total 6 months I’ve not played guitar a total of 12 days, mainly because I’ve damaged my back or I needed to game instead so I could let my fingers heal. Practice practice practice. I’m already doing harmonics wnd all.
Yngwie is probably watching this and saying to himself: "Darn, now I'll have to come up with some even harder arpeggios that Tina can't play". Good luck with that, I say! You are fantastic girl, love your style and love your taste in music. I love all your other covers too. You're the best!
I was kinda joking here Jacky. Just trying to give a compliment to a girl who has obviously spent hours and hours practicing her craft to get to this level of skill.

Been playing guitar for 3 months. Flawlessly transitioned from the C chord to the G the other day for the first time. Thought I was the absolute SHIT!...Guitar is going on EBay after I finish writing this.
Ha ha just keep practicing man. It takes commitment to practice to that extent. I'm learning far beyond the sun right now and its one of his easier songs for quick alternate picking. Learn while ur young, if not work, home, practice 30 mins a day if u can.
Ive been at it for 50 years. Every day is a new challenge. Sometimes a day is a step backward. But one day you ll grab that baby, play something flawlessly and you ll be hooked forever.
Don't do it. Playing guitar is the best therapy there is, at least it is for me. It takes time. If you're transitioning from C to G seamlessly, then you're on your way. It will get easier with time. Your muscle memory will start to kick in. I joke about throwing my guitar into the fire pit all the time. Especially when I see and hear these young musicians. It can be very frustrating at times. I've been playing for about 30 years. I still suck! Hell, I'm just happy when people recognize what song I'm playing. Keep it up brother. This girt has been playing since she was 7, I think, but you just know that she has probably played hours and hours every damned day. I wish I had that kind of time. Music will always be there to help to get through the rough times. Always. People like you always have to nitpick at something unimportant while being unable to appreciate someone else's talent.
+csrgatorfan I know you guys are joking to some degree, but it's worth while to go back and listen to young Yngwie. This girl absolutely monstrous, but Yngwie was a teenager when he was with Alcatrazz. When people see new and exciting things, it's easy to forget the craziness of excitement of the old thing when it was new. So next time you hear something like this or a teenager covering racer X flawlessly, remember that Paul and Yngwie, etc were babies too - and they were coming up with the techniques that are now standard shredder's repertoire.
That's an understatement. Arpeggios From Hell, Blitzkrieg, Prelude To April, Caprici Di Diablo and Trilogy are his hardest songs; the first two are composed to BE hard with difficulty and technicality in mind. She nailed one of them nearly perfectly concerning technique and tone. But Malmsteen's songs aren't as hard Paul Gilbert or Jason Becker songs because Yngwie likes to play in a linear, predictable way. What's really hard is to play with some weird fingerings and ridiculously high action like he does. That said, it takes mountainous talent to be able to pull anything Yngwie does off.
I play a guitar for leisure. When I watch Tina S, I wonder how long it's going to take me to reach her level. Tina is a perfectionist. Her performance is super.❤
It took one of Yngwie's toughest pieces to even get her to look at the fretboard here and there. This girl is a massive inspiration. The level of practice and dedication is just on another planet.

PLEASE ALL YOU GUITAR PLAYERS OUT THERE, NEVER DESTROY AN ORGAN FOR IT'S TUBE AMP AND SPEAKERS! These organs are every bit as serious a musical instrument as the finest guitar and amp, violin, or any other great well built instrument. Have some respect will you?

She is a once in 10 lifetimes player
This comment has nothing to do with her performance but to the people ranting on Yngwie.
There could be thousands of guitarist able to play Yngwie's songs just as his records.
But there all copying, without Yngwie there wouldn't be any songs.
It's not the ability to play the songs, it's to come up with those in the first place that are the true skill.
You are absolutely right ! This girl is amazing, but Yngwie, Vai and others write the stuff that others copy
Dennis Edlund Don't worry about her! She will write her own music soon...
SLUGGYSS
The abillity to play an instrument doesn't mean that you'll make composer history.
Look at all the philharmonics around the world which can play something perfect everytime.
But so few able to make composer history.
I'm not saying anything about her, because I don't know anything about her.
But just don't think that instrument skills and composer skill is something that is connected by default.
Dennis Edlund Wait and see...

She's back, in a band - th-cam.com/video/FJ6SabX59dQ/w-d-xo.html
This is seriously the most amazing thing I've seen in years.
I ve been playing guitar for,40 years but. This young lady is the best I ever saw.
Tina Sotkic is a very talented guitar player. Her timing and accuracy, hitting the notes are superb! Definitely, Best cover version.
Tina Šetkić
all hail tina soulkiss
🤯 Absolutely amazing! As amazed as I was when I first saw Yngwie live in Alcatrazz. Stunning talent.
Plays yngwie malmsteen. Still manages to look bored. My guitar is on fire in the back yard.
Hellsaint1 she's not bored she's in the zone
He said looked bored, not was bored.
Hey don't worry, whats up? Its all she can do. But its brilliant, yea I agree.......
LOL Feel the heat :-)
Clearly she has been given the magical secret by the Maestro himself! Praise the Maestro!
seriously who would give a younger kid a thumbs down for reaching for this....sour grapes big time...take this to 1 million views!! as a fan of Yngwie since 1985...trust me he will see this and be very proud of you.
I think yngwie had her killed after watching this. She has been nowhere to be found since 2016.
There are kids who dislike everything just because they can and because it's the opposite of the popular view.
She has a very fluid attack. Watching her right had through her sweeps and pick repositioning is amazing. Gifted indeed.
th-cam.com/video/i_syvieTwHQ/w-d-xo.html
Tina S kills it every time. Makes it look so effortless. Such passion. Such talent is hard to find and Tina has the whole package and some
It doesn't seem possible. To get this good, she had to be playing before she was born. It almost seems like magic.
Yeah right? I remember when I was 15, and had played guitar for 3 years. Wasn't remotely fucking close to this good. But some people are just born with it I guess. Plus hours and hours of training of course.
How many hours a day should I practice to play this song?
Some have the talent or natural skill, others don't. Those who have still need to train and practice to achieve, but those who don't will never be as good, no matter how much they practice.
It's probably just human, we're all individuals with different traits and skills. This girl most certainly got it, she's awesome.
She started learning 6 months before conception, 32hrs per day.
It's called a prodigy, google it !!
Yngwie was acting spent for the show like professionals do.
@@pand9293 yhea so the people doesn't suspect he is not a human
Yeah he's acting plus 60 pounds overweight
@@wickedfuctupIf ever you needed proof that shredding is not cardio, Yngwie is it.

one of a kind. Probably the greatest guitarist I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of great ones.
This is definitely a song that fits her picking, bending, and vibrato style! Excellent cover!
Yngwie actually said that Arpeggios From Hell is one of the most insane stuff he came up with and she played it without giving a single shit. Respect.
Lovro Novinc I'm more impressed that he came up with it than someone able to recreate the piece, but yeah she did do this song with ease.
and no, it is not the most insane stuff he has come up with. but she did a good job of covering it.just saying.all you have to do is of watched him in the 80's during his rising force marching out tour..he was amazing.
*_"Yngwie actually said that Arpeggios From Hell is one of the most insane stuff he came up with and she played it without giving a single shit."_*

Uchiha Hikaku Kind of a smart ass arent'cha.
Errm, he composed it she just played it . And yes respect she nailed it almost .
This is crazy stuff! Playing Malmsteen without looking at the fretboard shows how much pain and patience went into practicing these insane stuff! Tina, you are one and only!
lol, malmsteen is a poser.
Yep... insane. Playing him like she's half asleep. unreal...
What amazing talent this girl has!
She's gonna be a heartbreaker when she grows up a bit. Skills beyond my wildest imagination. Absolutely amazing.
Kids her age getting into guitar shredding gives me hope that hard rock, heavy metal, prog metal, etc will eventually make a strong return.
You'll be surprised to find out how popular it is in Asian countries. Especially India and Sri Lanka.
No way ANYBODY on this rock will ever play in her league. This girl IS a guitar playing Savant!
Je n en crois pas mes oreilles !! Merci Tina !! 🎸😊🎸😊
AMAZING ..... so clean, so precise!!!! Tina you are one of the best ever...!!!!

Simply the best of the best...Thank you
This girl is the gift of God ! Incredibly, stunningly !

I think that joke there is better than I can't even play the wrong notes that fast lol
You are fantastic girl, love your style and love your taste in music. I love all your other covers too. You're the best!

Well, hours and hours per day for years I guess! :-)
I would agree, but I've seen Yngwie play this live and it was faster and sounded better than this. That said, she is and unbelievable guitar player, who should be in a band already.

Don't compare different time music learning with nowadays...20years ago their use ears to listening and learning guitar not watch the videos or youtube
@@ikanganas You know people still do that, right? People learn things by ear all the time. And what difference does it make how anyone learned? They still put in the time and effort, and I don't care how this little girl learned to play, she's still making some of Yngwie's most difficult stuff look effortless. Don't even try to take away from that just because you think she might have "learned from TH-cam." As if that is somehow easier than learning from a book or something.

Always.
But if you want to feel even worse, look up this girl who wears a hijab I think the channel is something like Melmesickoannie. She's pretty amazing too.
I didn’t know you could use the whole fretboard, say Cowboy Matt

@@peersvensson9253 who cares about "feelings". Let everyone play as they want.
Fantastyczna, słucham jej grania i słucham i podziwiam.Talent niesamowity.
Not a single fuck was given that day... Good job! Yngwie songs are hard... U made it look easy.
The reason why Tina is so awesome is that she knows exactly what she's doing. This isn't mindless shredding. This is art.
I can't believe I've only had a couple of guitar lessons and I'm already playing this. On CD.
