Forgotten for 14 YEARS! What is it? Will it run? Will it go 70 miles for a car show tomorrow? VPT

- This is a car I built nearly 20 years ago! I drove it two years and parked it for winter storage one year and forgot all about it. Till now! Buddy is going under the knife and asked to see all his friends and their cars one last time before summer ends and he is laid up in bed for months. I'm gonna see if I can make it!

Nice I have a 89 with a zc dohc with a jrsc and LHT intercooler.
Love it. Great job bud!
Thanks Mike! How have you been?
Been good. Working in Green Bay so ain’t home so much.
@@michaelmijal5826 Not too far away. Glad to hear your doing good. I know you like the v8's, Ill finally be starting in on the V8 swap into my comet this winter and of course there will be videos. 😁
beautiful car it is a relic I would like to have it if one day you sell it talk to me I hope to see more video of this car 🎉
Thank you! I don't have plans to ever sell this one. Definitely will have some more videos on this one as I do things to it.
My 240 is starting to get that build up from sitting in my buddies shop with no climate control too. Made me sad seeing it starting
It sucks. I've been contemplating trying those bubbles for cars.
240 in a sub 1900lbs chasis is very good
It is quite a zippy go cart! 😁
So, did you have to replace the relay that ran the gas pump or did freeing it up once (by clunking it) fix the issue?
Mouse smell is the world's punishment for letting something like this languish for years. My Model T has done the same to me.
If it was the relay, or a sticky pump, or whatever it was, yes it freed up and I haven't had an issue since. I am assuming it was that main relay because they were known to have an issue now and then even back 20 years ago. Mice are my menace, it is constant battle against them all around me.
36 miles to the east, somewhat south east, Waupaca?
Yes Waupaca meet up. It was a great little back road drive!
Best video yet! Miss this car. Whatever happened to the car with the big motor you built (100% custom intake, etc.)?
The silver crx? I sold that chassis and the motor went to someone in Florida. That was a fun car too! 12.8 in the quarter mile on motor.
Everybody sssshhh!!!😂😂😂
