  • I left the village of Portumna on the River Shannon heading to Ballygar, to complete the 7th stage of the Ireland way…The Hymany Way. Along the way I passed through the villages of Lorrha, Eyrecourt, Laurencetown, Aughrim, Killure and Ahascragh. I took only my second Zero in almost 300 miles at Kenny’s BnB in Ballygar.

    Hi Rev. Great video. Someone once told me that Ireland was green. Now I believe her. These videos have been awesome. Have really been enjoying them. Of course, I always enjoy your videos. Hope you're having a great day. Many blessings to you and yours.

    A period of time in Ireland without rain lol, I always get so happy when I see how friendly and helpful people can be when you are in a place that is not your own and it also reminds me that there is still a lot of good in the world which is so inspiring. Always treat people the way you want to be treated. That one horse who kicked the other one apparently didnt want anyone or anything in their bubble.🤣

    That breakfast looked soooo good! 😋
    That horse was very naughty! That kick seemed to be entirely unprovoked! Unless they're siblings...then it makes perfect sense 😂

      I don’t know what would provoke a horse to do that. 🤷 Maybe jealously that I was spending more time with the other horse? IDK. 😁

    Wow, that's light. With 2.5 litres of water, and 10 days of food, my total weight is 12 kg. I'm enjoying your walks and especially "Ireland". The Giants Causeway is awesome.
    You should come to Perth and do the Bibbulmun Track. Its 1003 kilometres.

    I'm a West Aussie and I lived in Northern Ireland for a little while until the rain drove me out.The people are nice and the craic is great fun. I would have liked for this hike to have been available when I was there. I am curious about the total weight of your pack if you would oblige, please?

    • @TheHikingRev
      @TheHikingRev  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Michael. My baseweight (minus food and water) was 10 lbs. I carried a drone and assorted camera equipment which brought my baseweight up to 11.92 lbs.
