This is a beautiful car. We had the same exact car in light Sable brown with the paneling and dark brown interior. I love that interior because it was very very durable and always looked like new. It was warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We had the wire wheels and ours was fully optioned. It drove like Cadillac with an automatic load leveler air shocks and we never had a major problem with it.
I had an '88 CC wagon. Med. grey w/grey interior. Loaded with options. BEAUTIFUL driving car!! '88-'90 CC wagons had chrome flashing on sail panel just behind rear passenger door.'90 was only year of this body style where shoulder belt was mounted on door. I sure miss driving REAL cars!!

But I have to exercise caution because it's slightly longer than the average Australian wagon, checking the rear-mirrors frequently and focusing on the speedometer rather than relying on my judgement! ;-)
We had the same car in tan with dark brown interior. Always a great car. The windows were always slow except for the driver window. I just assumed they used a heavy duty motor since it was used so often. We had the lockable spoked hubcaps.
Great car drove like a Cadillac. Loved the plush interior. So comfortable, cool or warm!
I'd buy another one if the they remade them.

I just picked one of these up that a guy had fiberglass modded to look like a hearse. Ive got a lot of clean up to do but I am hoping to get it running like new and pretty as she was. Plus shes straight piped so she sound like the national anthem
I have one custom Cruiser 1980 and modified with a larger carburetor, wheels of 15 "X10 295/50. The rest is original

How much
It's a shame Olds did not use higher end wheel covers, upholstery, and options to help move this model above the lowly Chevy. I was never a fan of these plain Jane wheel covers and the no-frills upholstery. At least Ford offered leather seating on many of its Mercury Colony Park models which moved them up a notch in the luxury category. I can't recall ever seeing any GMs (particularly Buick) with leather in the wagons or even the sedans, for that matter. Leather was common in the Fords.
Actually buick park avenue oldsmobile 98 regency and chevrolet caprice classic was offered with leather interior as was the buick elecectra estate wagon oldsmobile custom cruiser broughm and caprice classic estate wagon
