@@Wejrdfish1 WAY, older. Fiddle was created in, what they said in lore, the "first scream of creation" or something along those lines. Evelynn was made with the creation of planet of Runeterra, which could've been anywhere from minutes to centuries after creation was made it just didn't take a physical form until after the Rune Wars which were something around a 1000 years ago, so Evelynn's physical form is around 1000 years old but it's spiritual/true form were made with the creation of Runeterra. You might be wondering why I referred to Evelynn as 'it' and that's because demons don't technically have a gender, they're basically a type of spirit that feeds on human emotions that they think are the best, Nocturne for example feeds on dread, Evelynn on agony, Tahm Kench on greed and etc. and remember that the term spirit doesn't actually mean that they were once a human, we don't truly know how demons are created.
The line "See? It's just a scarecrow" at 6:44 is actually terrifying. Based on his Passive, I imagine that people who were wandering at night saw Fiddlesticks standing still, posing as an effigy, doing nothing but staring at them. Because of its creepy, inhumane appearance, they became frightened of whatever it was supposed to resemble. Out of unease, they went up to the "scarecrow" to check out if it was definetily not alive - or maybe they even heard of the Fiddlesticks myth and wanted to make sure it was just a children's tale. When they went up to the scarecrow, it did not move. Not even after giving it a slight push. It appeared to be nothing more than a harmless scarecrow, which relieved the nightly wanderers. "See? It's just a scarecrow" were probably the last words somebody told their partner, friend, colleague or even their own child before they noticed, in terror, that Fiddlesticks is real.
one of the best, only topped by the little continuing "story" in a few of these quotes. "LET ME IN" --> someone was left behind and locked out of a house by other people, who wanted to save themselves. said person was obviously ripped to shreds. so the people in the house thought they saved themselves. however, most likely just moments later, they too screamed: "ITS IN THE HOUSE!" and shared the fate of the one they locked outside

It's actually scary that he even mimics breath. Perfectly portrays how feral Fiddle is, because he simply doesn't know anything about living/human beings. Only thing he's interested in is what sounds they make. And well, he probably doesn't have to breathe, so breath it's only another sound for him.
he mimics the sounds of fear. Or the sounds they made before feeling fear. All of his sounds, including animal ones, are sounds from scared and fearful people and animals. The pig scream he does is definitely a pig getting butchered or him killing it, something like that.

I'm not one for horror. But this is just perfect. Instead of typical lines of ''I'll gut you like a fish'' or ''darkness beckons''. On another video it took me just a min or so to realize that he's mimicking his victims. All you get from his voice lines are sentences that spark small stories in your mind. Fiddlesticks perfectly plays on your own imagination to produce horror instead of raw gore or some shitty attempt at being ominous with shitty endings that so many modern horror movies do. I'm almost tempted into getting LoL again after 6 years despite my account filled with skins being gone, just to play Fiddlesticks.
He does more than just mimic victims He also reads minds, and knows what scares people. "Little light" Lux's nickname from her parents "Show us a smile" Vayne never smiled "GUILTY" Riven was the murderer but someone else took the blame (don't remember who). Fiddle is pure psychological horror and that's why I love to play him.

Beautifully done, really. But a few stuck out as not quite in line with that concept, for example "come closer" and "are you afraid?" - unless, perhaps, he blundered in into a crime in progress (sadly, I don't think the victim's situation would've improved.) Also, the "Fiddlesticks is just a story" and the other similar lines are... inappropriately funny, I'll admit.
Also his voice, his voice sounds like choked or sliced neck while speaking. Which actually also sound some of it's victim dying choking or with sliced neck. OR maybe because he is made of many many things that he collected and combined to build his own body and the sound produced by those things that represent his vocal organs. Either way is actually scary.
Considering that Fiddlesticks voices comes from his victims that he has killed. It's creepy and all. But some of his lines are even more creepier and sad when you try and think out the victims last moments and it's like all of his lines make a story when you put a few of them together. Example: "They haven't come back from the fields. It's been three days!" "There is something in the fields." "It moves around at night." "The scarecrow" "Fiddlesticks is just a fable, to scare children." "Just a story." (Laughing then breathing.) "See? It's just a Scarecrow." "Come closer, Closer." "Nothing to be afraid of." "Don't be scared. It can't hurt you." "What is that! What is that!" "RUN!!"
"ITS IN THE HOUSE!" might just be the worst one. even with just fiddles imitation of the original speaker of that quote, you can still hear the endless dread and panic in that sentence

Just start it off by setting up the post with your fellow soldiers and when the night falls and 1st one is picked off, get running or try killing him with the rest. Have ai soldiers try moving together and protecting each other and fiddle picking them off one by one until you're alone and helpless, builds suspense
@@belivuk2526 Imagine that you get separated from the group of soldiers, then you hear them calling for you, like if one of the soldiers is suppose to be a close friend or something, you follow the voice to safety, and as you approach the voice begins to shift to the demon one, while the crows start to get louder until the scarecrow appears, eventually ending your life with its characteristic sprint towards you, ending in a sort of jumpscare. That would be more like an ending for the game, but it would be cool if there's some build up to it (Also sorry for the bad english xd)

I like "The scarecrow took them all. Nobody left. But me." because Fiddlesticks saying that implies, that it ultimately killed that person as well and likely also whoever they were talking to.

I don't think he is meant to be in their head. He is a campfire story that no one knows if it is really true but it is. Like the demons in the lore of League he is trying to adapt to the physical world.

This is the best part about the way they made his voicelines. You can tell he mimics the voices of the victims he killed. The worst part is that it leaves everything up to your imagination. His lines basically make you think of how terrifying that encounter with Fiddlesticks must have been.
I like how in lore some champions are just so inconceivably more powerful than others, Fiddle is such an example he is such an primal evil, an formless unreasonable evil a demon born in the early days of rune terra, just an reflection of fear he has no reason to be, he has no goal, he does not want to achive nothing he is just a "phisical" manifestation of terror. How could you beat that?
Kindred is literally the physical embodiment of death. They are everywhere and know everyone. They cannot die as they are outside of the cycle. Soraka is literally a primeval entity that stuffed herself in a mortal coil that is severely damaged because of the sheer amount of magic in her. Ryze has access to the world runes and teleportation magic. If he one day decided the planet had a tad too much life on it no one would be able to stop him from using them. Miss fortune... has 2 guns?
@@shooflies kindred is actually just one entity of death. Legends of Runeterra confirmed there are many more. And they are not really outside the cycle - when a "death" is forgotten by all mortal races, they are taken out by a death who exists solely for that task, the etherfiend. And fiddle is far older than runeterra and the kindred, he was boen together with the galaxy itself, in the "first scream of creation"
@@thahoule7924 As far as i'm concerned LoR aint canon. I don't care what they said, they retconned lore for cards. I know there's a lot of really cool lore stories that can be pulled from LoR but it just makes a mess out of too much for me to take it as canon. Hell even Necrit thinks theres too many different "canons" at this point. Hopefully the lore teams there will pull together and the MMO can give us a full agreed upon canon lore, but at this point I don't take anything outside the short stories and riot forge as lore. the only reason I give forge a tentative pass is the whole point of it is to reformat lore to games instead of stories for access. Whether they can do it or not, I can't say for sure with only a couple of games.
Some of the lines that freak me out the most are "It's in the house!" "It's alive!" "Don't leave me!" "Open the door!" and "See? It's just a scarecrow." Because you can easily imagine the final moments of those victims. It's seriously chilling. This is brilliant horror, so simple but so effective. Fiddlesticks' design, the writing, and of course Kellen Goff's amazing mind blowing performance! Fiddlesticks has become one of my favorite League of Legends characters!
For his lines with Nunu, may I remind you that when Nunu "dies" in game is Willump that falls, so Nunu is basically alone as this metal demon mimicks him after killing his best friend... That's just dark

Kindred's biggest fear is being lonely again. Kindred was once one entity, who was lonely as everyone either feared it or/and left whenever they met. So he took an axe and split himself in two. Wolf: So he would always have a friend? Lamb: So he would always have a friend.
Fiddlestick's lore basically implies it has existed since the near if not the start of reality. Possibly since the first consciousness could comprehend being afraid. Maybe since reality screamed into existence itself
3:26 It's a small detail but I love how drawn out he makes Sticks. It shows that the victim of this actually screamed out fiddlestiiiiiiicks like a terrified person would and fiddlesticks replicated that terror in tbe voice line.
Not sure what's worse: 'I'm so scared', 'is someone there' or 'it's in the house.' I've never wanted to play a champion simultaneously more and less than I do right now. I'm excited and nervous as hell all at once.

@@jacques9555 Don't need to imagine. One of the quotes clearly hints that a child got lost in the forest and met Fiddlesticks, whom killed both the child and at least one of the parents. His champion theme's vocals also hint that he killed a mother and her child, the vocals being mimicked voices and the distorted screaming towards the end being their final moments of terror and pain.

@@codex3019 Some people mentioned it, but I don't think that are the last words of someone he killed, but the thoughts of someone he meets and he uses thoses thoughts, which would fear them. So if a character betrayed his own people, fiddle will refer to his betrayal to conflict him with his fears

Evelynn was made with the creation of planet of Runeterra, which could've been anywhere from minutes to centuries after creation was made it just didn't take a physical form until after the Rune Wars which were something around a 1000 years ago, so Evelynn's physical form is around 1000 years old but it's spiritual/true form were made with the creation of Runeterra.
You might be wondering why I referred to Evelynn as 'it' and that's because demons don't technically have a gender, they're basically a type of spirit that feeds on human emotions that they think are the best, Nocturne for example feeds on dread, Evelynn on agony, Tahm Kench on greed and etc. and remember that the term spirit doesn't actually mean that they were once a human, we don't truly know how demons are created.
The line "See? It's just a scarecrow" at 6:44 is actually terrifying.
Based on his Passive, I imagine that people who were wandering at night saw Fiddlesticks standing still, posing as an effigy, doing nothing but staring at them. Because of its creepy, inhumane appearance, they became frightened of whatever it was supposed to resemble.
Out of unease, they went up to the "scarecrow" to check out if it was definetily not alive - or maybe they even heard of the Fiddlesticks myth and wanted to make sure it was just a children's tale.
When they went up to the scarecrow, it did not move. Not even after giving it a slight push. It appeared to be nothing more than a harmless scarecrow, which relieved the nightly wanderers.
"See? It's just a scarecrow" were probably the last words somebody told their partner, friend, colleague or even their own child before they noticed, in terror, that Fiddlesticks is real.
one of the best, only topped by the little continuing "story" in a few of these quotes.
"LET ME IN" --> someone was left behind and locked out of a house by other people, who wanted to save themselves. said person was obviously ripped to shreds. so the people in the house thought they saved themselves.
however, most likely just moments later, they too screamed: "ITS IN THE HOUSE!" and shared the fate of the one they locked outside

I'm not one for horror. But this is just perfect. Instead of typical lines of ''I'll gut you like a fish'' or ''darkness beckons''. On another video it took me just a min or so to realize that he's mimicking his victims. All you get from his voice lines are sentences that spark small stories in your mind. Fiddlesticks perfectly plays on your own imagination to produce horror instead of raw gore or some shitty attempt at being ominous with shitty endings that so many modern horror movies do. I'm almost tempted into getting LoL again after 6 years despite my account filled with skins being gone, just to play Fiddlesticks.
Personally, if he was featured in some sort of horror spin off or animation then I'd be all for it.

That would be more like an ending for the game, but it would be cool if there's some build up to it

No, really. It takes a lot for horror stories to give me chills, but these voice lines alone legitimately do it for me
I know it’s supposed to be scary but now I’m imagining Fiddlesticks with a backwards cap and a mic saying that line
This is the best part about the way they made his voicelines. You can tell he mimics the voices of the victims he killed. The worst part is that it leaves everything up to your imagination. His lines basically make you think of how terrifying that encounter with Fiddlesticks must have been.

I like how in lore some champions are just so inconceivably more powerful than others, Fiddle is such an example he is such an primal evil, an formless unreasonable evil a demon born in the early days of rune terra, just an reflection of fear he has no reason to be, he has no goal, he does not want to achive nothing he is just a "phisical" manifestation of terror. Ryze has access to the world runes and teleportation magic. If he one day decided the planet had a tad too much life on it no one would be able to stop him from using them. @@shooflies kindred is actually just one entity of death. Legends of Runeterra confirmed there are many more. And they are not really outside the cycle - when a "death" is forgotten by all mortal races, they are taken out by a death who exists solely for that task, the etherfiend. And fiddle is far older than runeterra and the kindred, he was boen together with the galaxy itself, in the "first scream of creation"
@@thahoule7924 As far as i'm concerned LoR aint canon. I don't care what they said, they retconned lore for cards. I know there's a lot of really cool lore stories that can be pulled from LoR but it just makes a mess out of too much for me to take it as canon. Hell even Necrit thinks theres too many different "canons" at this point. Hopefully the lore teams there will pull together and the MMO can give us a full agreed upon canon lore, but at this point I don't take anything outside the short stories and riot forge as lore. the only reason I give forge a tentative pass is the whole point of it is to reformat lore to games instead of stories for access. Whether they can do it or not, I can't say for sure with only a couple of games.

Some of the lines that freak me out the most are "It's in the house!" "It's alive!" "Don't leave me!" "Open the door!" and "See? It's just a scarecrow." Because you can easily imagine the final moments of those victims. It's seriously chilling. This is brilliant horror, so simple but so effective. Fiddlesticks' design, the writing, and of course Kellen Goff's amazing mind blowing performance! Fiddlesticks has become one of my favorite League of Legends characters!
For his lines with Nunu, may I remind you that when Nunu "dies" in game is Willump that falls, so Nunu is basically alone as this metal demon mimicks him after killing his best friend... That's just dark

It's interesting that Fiddle recognizes Kindred as the Grey Man, and has the wherewithal to mimic the voice of someone who died millennia ago when he sees them.
fiddle is older than death. he was born together with bard and aurelion sol at the beginning of the universe. and he knows everyones fear, even kindreds, bc he IS fear incarnate
Kindred's biggest fear is being lonely again. Kindred was once one entity, who was lonely as everyone either feared it or/and left whenever they met.
So he took an axe and split himself in two.

Fiddlestick's lore basically implies it has existed since the near if not the start of reality. Possibly since the first consciousness could comprehend being afraid. Maybe since reality screamed into existence itself

It's a small detail but I love how drawn out he makes Sticks. It shows that the victim of this actually screamed out fiddlestiiiiiiicks like a terrified person would and fiddlesticks replicated that terror in tbe voice line.
The kill lines represent the last words of his victims. The "sticks" part is drawn out because they said it with their last breath.
Not sure what's worse: 'I'm so scared', 'is someone there' or 'it's in the house.'

@@jacques9555 Don't need to imagine. One of the quotes clearly hints that a child got lost in the forest and met Fiddlesticks, whom killed both the child and at least one of the parents.
His champion theme's vocals also hint that he killed a mother and her child, the vocals being mimicked voices and the distorted screaming towards the end being their final moments of terror and pain.

If you talk about creepy and nightmare fuel then yes it's Fiddlesticks.
My favourite voice line would have to be the floor creaks, because it's either, someone's very last noise they got them killed, or fiddlesticks that made that footstep behind them, the fear of just a wooden floorboard creaking up behind you and seeing that is terrifying
So fiddle's voice lines are basically the dead souls he has claimed......
Edit: Another thing I noticed, he acknowledges other demons Nocturne, Evelynn, Tahm, Raum (possibly swain' s crow), and other supernatural champions

@@codex3019 Some people mentioned it, but I don't think that are the last words of someone he killed, but the thoughts of someone he meets and he uses thoses thoughts, which would fear them. So if a character betrayed his own people, fiddle will refer to his betrayal to conflict him with his fears
