Thank you so much for the shoutout! That's one heck of a mileage increase from the air intake. I'm glad you got the suspension sorted. I'll pm you a few ideas regarding the service manual. Great honest review, Moz.
Thanks, Eric. Only way to do them, open and honest. I was very please with the fuel consumption. Get this, since I installed the silences, to complement the air filter, I go a fuel consumption of 4.1 l/100km (57.3 mpg). That's only a one off, I'd want to do more takes to be certain. Cheers
Hey mate, really enjoyed the video 😎 I live in Tassie and I have just got back from riding my Super Meteor (also Celestial Blue with the exact same mods) up to Mareeba and back. Bike went like a dream. With your error message issue, have you replaced the relays? I upgraded mine as a precaution as I heard the original ones are pretty ordinary. Also does your channel have an email address? I was given a RE factory training manual that covers all the 650s including the Super Meteor. I got it from a bloke I bought some custom Super Meteor parts from. He reckons it's better and more accurate than a normal workshop manual. Happy to send you a copy or a link. Cheers, Felix
@felixVanDiemen Wow, thanks, Felix. There's an email address in my channel description. I'll definitely investigate the relay option, the manual should help me identify them. Thanks again. Cheers
Interesting review, I like the mods and that the bike is working well for your riding style and enjoyment. Unresolved issues like that error message get my goat. Interesting about the wiring harness. Always like the look of these, cheers mate!
Hi Moz, I have the same model with the same fault coming up (Chebat). I'm not too concerned as it has never failed to start. I may clean the dielectic grease and and install new relays to see if that clears the fault. I've just ordered a SF Sprint aftermarket air filter, they don't require any oil, you just use compressed air to clean. Mark
Thanks cool, Frances. I'll do a vid once the wiring harness is replaced by Royal Enfield. Hopefully that removes this annoyance. You're right, it doesn't affect the bike. The service interval for the DNA filter is 10,000 km (6,200 mls) when used primarily on sealed roads. I have a service kit, it's not too difficult to clean. Thanks for dropping in. Ride well. Cheers
All good here, apart from dodging fires. Even had a Helicopter land in the neighbours back yard yesterday, that was different. Ride well and safe travels. Cheers
Supermeteor, I did 8500miles on mine, really comfortable. However if you push it hard, it will eventually catch up out, the suspension, especially front forks are crap. My bike would dance across the road on tight corners. Sold it after 18months. Replaced with triumph Bonneville, totally different handling, vastly improved. I do miss the engine.
@raypayne1979 That's cool, Ray. I've found the font forks reasonably for my riding style. Having said that, the forks can also be upgraded by YSS. Thanks for your feedback. Cheers
I had the same mileage increase with the filter. Only issue I have had is the chain. It reached end of life at 6k miles so i replaced it with a higher quality one.
Sounds like there are some good points and bad, but as long as you enjoy your bike and riding it, who cares 😆 🤣 😂 😹. They are cool bike to me. One day, I'll get one. Have a great day. Choppersrule1
Well to be honest they are cheap bikes made in India with pretty crude manufacturing and with questionable quality control so they are bound to have some small issues but hey that doesn't matter to much for the money

Really good iformation, Moz. I'm thinking of buying a Super Meteor here in the States. This is all good to know. Much obliged. Peace.
Glad to help, mate. Cheers
Good to see you Moz, a great thorough review.
Thank you kindly, Rob. Cheers
A solid honest review. nice work Moz 😎👍
Thanks 👍BB. Ya gotta tell it as it is, I say. Cheers
Great chat Moz themes is a very nice bike to ride still love mine.😃
Thanks for dropping by. They are lots of fun. Cheers
Good review. that is a sharp looking bike. I hope the wiring harness takes care of that error.
Yeah, I hope so too. Cheers
Very helpful, especially the rear suspension tip. It will beat you to death in stock form. Otherwise a great little ride!
It sure does, really good now with the YSS shock. Cheers

Good 👍 vid mate , hope the harness get sorted out ,hope all is well on the Tablelands ! Will be back up in late Jan .

@ thanks 🙏 mate
Had the odd error message on my Enfields and is usually because of dodgy relays. Replaced them with Narva units
Thanks for that info, I'll keep that in mind. Much appreciated. Cheers
I don't know if it's the relay. RE ships the relays in a lot of grease and sometimes the dealers don't do a good job cleaning it as it should be.
Got my 3k service soon might stick in a DNA air filter on my Himalayan. (Unless not needed yet).
Def like the Sup Meteor! Gorgeous bike. Mo.
Thanks, Maurice.
