  • Our lives are often controlled by these 4 dangerous words: “What will people think?” It takes tremendous courage to rewrite the script, express our authentic self and rekindle the unbridled joy of childhood. It requires a LEAP with these steps: Listen; Examine; Act; Promise.

Copyright 1983 Pine Barrens Music (BMI). www.revfredsmall.com Tim Seelig is the Conductor Laureate of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus and Conductor Emeritus of the Turtle Creek Chorale in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Seelig holds four degrees, including a Diploma from the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Texas. He has seven books and DVDs on choral technique and his memoir, Tale of Two Tims, was published in 2020. He made is operatic debut in St. Gallen, Switzerland and had been conducting at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center for 30 years.He has conducted over 50 recordings which have been on Billboard Top Ten and iTunes Top Ten classical charts. His choruses have been the topic of three documentaries. The first PBS documentary was awarded the national Emmy for best documentary. The most recent had its world premiere at the Tribecca Film Festival, won the Audience Favorite and is streaming on Paramount +. He is the proud grandfather of the amazing Clara Skye, Eden Mae, Cora Rose, Ivy Hope.     It was such a blessing to have been a member of the Turtle Creek Chorale for three years when Dr. Tim Selig was the conductor over 30 years ago. He was my role model and mentor. He was undoubtedly the most influential man in my life. Thanks Tim 🤗🤗

    When I came to TWCD, my beloved previous choir had died. I wasn’t sure TWCD would be the right place for me but I was hoping I would find another director that could bring back some of the joy to rehearsal, that I’d experienced previously. You did that and SO much more. You profoundly changed me as a person and you are still managing to do it even now. Keep moving forward and keep changing lives. You truly make the world a better place
