The cosplayer he met in Berlin is me. I can't believe he still remembers that moment, after almost ten years. That's incredible and honestly made me tear up a bit. Thank you for also finding video material of that moment, that I didn't see before. I was really cheeky back then and asked him kindly to kneel. No idea of I'd still have the guts nowadays.
My only regret is that I never got to tell him my name, or that I work for amnesty international because of him, and help children with war trauma. Such moments are too brief and I guess I'll never have the chance to thank him for leading me down that path with his glowing example.
Thank you for this amazing memory, Tom. And thank you to the BBC team for finding actual footage of me from that day. This truly made my day!!!!

They actually seem like good buddies
Tom not only incredibly acts his character of Loki so well, but it's really his passion for the character that really is most amazing. He remembers, what seems like, every moment of Loki's arc in the MCU & loves being a preacher for his name.
I feel like most MCU actors get reminded a lot in interviews on some specific past movie details while Tom remembers what day he shot the scene.

I’m so glad Ali asked him about his death scene in Infinity War, it was so tragically beautiful? It convinced me that he’s the best actor in the whole of the MCU.

@Abrar You could argue the same with Tom too. He transitions from the dark and unstable villain in the 1st and 2nd Thor movie/ the first avengers film to the redeemed brother we see in Ragnarok and Infinity War. Additionally, we see a mix of both his action styles for Loki in the new tv series. It’s honestly pretty amazing looking back on how Loki’s character has changed throughout the mcu, and it’s all thanks to Tom’s amazing acting skills.
@@JyggaIag RDJ got a starring franchise to flex while Loki was supposed to be a short term villain and then killed off. TOM is the reason the audience kept rooting for Loki and people wanted to keep writing for Loki, bringing him back and giving him a redemption arc. Loki is still here because of Tom’s talent and the nuances he brought to Loki right from Thor 1. I give the points to Tom.
Ali is one of the best interviewer to talk with Tom. you can see that they truly respect each other's and they have good on screen chemistry. Tom seems to trust Ali, he is more open and knows that he has time to answer qs without rushing. Every time when Tom promotes new project I'm waiting for his conversation with Ali.

Well, I can tell that Tom and Ali are on a similar, if not the same, cultural wavelength, which contrasts from Ali's interview with Oscar Isaac about Moon Knight. (Ali, being a good interviewer, employed his Level 100 Politeness until the very end of the Oscar Isaac interview.) I think the cultural similarity between Tom and Ali might have played a role in how open Tom was during this interview.

I like these kind of interviews much where the interviewer is not always trying to get some spoilers from the actor. The conversation has a much better flow and Mr. Loki looks less stressed when answering normal non spoiler targeted questions.
The death scene in Infinity War was so tragic. So heartbreaking.
Tom always amazes me with his mind and thoughtfulness. He's one of the sweetest, most charming, sincerest (and obviously one of the most talented) people on earth. We're so lucky to have him play Loki.
Yes this scene was so touching, how he called himself an Odinson literally broke my heart. Tom Hiddleston is such a Great actor and he makes Loki what he is.

I walked into the first Thor movie excited to see Chris as Thor (who didn’t disappoint mind you) and walked out blathering on and on about Tom and how Loki needs his own franchise. FINALLY Marvel took my note. 😂
@@shpei88 Literally the same thing I did. I thought Chris Hemsworth looked cool as Thor but then Tom showed up as Loki, and I needed him to have 7 of his own movies, and three TV series as the title character.

I must say, Ali Plumb is such a pleasure to watch. I always feel like the people he talks to feel so at ease with him and genuinely enjoy him as I am. There are very few people I can say this about
I think the best part about Tom Hiddleston playing Loki is that he actually enjoys and watches the Marvel films, he really is interested in what’s happening. He doesn’t refer to Loki as, ‘I’ yet he refers to Loki as a seperate character, he really understands the character and was as excited when he read the script of the first episode as we did when we watched it.
Is it just me that sees the resemblance between these two? Not just the fact that they're two very likable young British men doing their job well, but also look somewhat similar.
In the first moment I was like "Tom looks a bit... different". One second later I noticed it wasn't Tom but the interviewer XD
The first avengers in 2012 was my introduction to the MCU, and Loki was easily one of the highlights of it for me. He was so intimidating, charismatic, and funny, and I remember being on the edge of my seat during all his scenes. His character is one of my favorites and Tom Hiddleston’s performance is one of the best in the MCU. Not to mention he’s also incredibly attractive and is a total sweetheart in real life. I hope we see him in more Marvel projects!

The reason he is my favorite actor in the MCU is because, not only is he a phenomenal actor, he actually cares about the character he plays and the world he plays it in. The rest of the cast are like yea I did the role, I'm a big superstar whatever, I got million other interviews to be in after this.
I love how his voice goes when he says “it’s the same for both of us”. I also like it when he starts re episode 4 and 5. His voice gets more sublime at that juncture. His voice is the 8th wonder of the world.
