Tom created his own version of Loki, it's all himself, and made him a memorable character which has become iconic beyond everyone's dreams. In the same way it happened with RDJ making Ironman the most iconic Avenger when he wasn't even that well-known in comics. For that reason, I think Ironman and Loki are the most beloved characters in the whole MCU. They steal every scene they're in.
