Avengers are called heroes no matter what it is they do - as Yelena says. Ironically enough, Odin calls Thor a “vain, greedy, cruel boy,” but no one holds that against Thor; he has a magical 3-day transformation where he suddenly realizes you shouldn’t slay an entire race and suddenly everyone thinks he’s a good guy. Why is he allowed to be good so suddenly, but Loki isn’t? If Loki is only good enough to be an anti-hero instead of a bad guy, shouldn’t Thor be considered an anti-hero too? The guy who’s killed at least 3000 people (by his own admission). Most of the avengers have killed people and done other morally and ethically grey things. Are they “good”? Are they anti-heroes? Bad guys? The MCU is full of complex characters, but only some of them have the right to be called “good” and be called hero by all the little children. That’s some powerful branding the Avengers have, Loki needs a better PR person. Maybe whoever is in charge of the Guardians of the Galaxy’s PR because they, despite being “a bit of both” good and bad, still are generally considered good. That team of ex thieves and assassins. Tom is such a high class gentleman. He doesn't say much but every words that comes out of him sound so poetic and butterflies, not just because of the british accent but it's TOM HIDDLESTON for crying out loud!!
He is so unbelievably humble. I saw the previous interview on Jimmy Kimmel with all the “Avengers” and it seemed like they were all putting on a facade for the press, most of it felt fake and was a very uncomfortable watch but I’m SO glad Tom is just this RAVISHING human being. it’s so refreshing to see such a talented actor have a level head in arguably one of the biggest industries on the planet. I loved his character in the Marvel movies so I was delighted for him to get his own show to continue his storyline. I never even watched an interview of his but I’m glad I clicked on. He is wonderful Edit: I just finished the entire video and I wish it was Jimmy Fallon who was interviewing him instead of Kimmel. Tom gives him the whole story line to his new show and as soon as he’s finished he doesn’t even acknowledge anything he said? Just completely switched topics to one of the most boring questions I’ve ever heard come out of a interview. Like at least respond to his brilliant overview of something he’s obviously passionate about. Tom handled it well but I would’ve been offended & annoyed by that
If there had been a way the author could keep that plot going without it having been a total stretch I would have been overjoyed because the Night Manager was amazing. I watch it all the time. Like I'll sit down and just binge it. They were both so brilliant.
Tom Hiddleston put so much of himself in to every part that he plays and the passion, dignity, and charisma is beyond compare. Absolutely no one else could have made Loki better than Tom Hiddleston, the most loved “villain.” And everything he’s in, he’s been fantastic. And on top of that he is just an incredible human being who is beyond incredibly humble and genuine. One of the greatest actors of our generation without a doubt.

As a Scandinavian, it’s just so cool to hear Loki (well, Tom Hiddleston, but I mean.. 😁) speak Norwegian! 🤷♀️😊 I’m wondering though, did the Asgardians come to earth and teach ancient Scandinavian vikings their language OR did Scandinavia teach Asgard Norwegian? Hmmm.. 🤔
They're supposed to be speaking in Old Norse and the old norse branched/evolved into the language Scandinavian people speak today like Norwegian-Norsk, Danish-Dansk and Swedish-Svenska also included a non Scandinavian country that has the closest to the old norse dialect-wise, Iceland-íslenskur
Tom brings really good energy everywhere he goes even though I see him from a screen I can feel good energy. How does he do it how does he keep himself from not getting angry in public or frustrated. He is such a calm human being just living his life now that’s enjoying life. How does he do it?
Remember watching this interview. Love all the fun interaction between Kimmel and Hiddleston. But when I heard that Hiddleston had a mild case of COVID-19. My heart went out to him. My caring heart wanted to take care of this wonderful man. Tom Hiddleston is the most elegant voice that any one fan adores to hear. I still cannot believe he has never won an Oscar, and I don't just mean for Loki. He was exceptional is so many roles, including in off-the-beat movies like Crimson Peak, War Horse and Deep Blue Sea. Not that TH needs an Oscar to define him. Just saying.

I hereby retract my statement of “loki isn’t a bad guy” and now offer up “Loki IS a good guy” he’s no worse than any of the other complex good guys in the MCU - if they’re good enough so is he.
@@riverofstars3287 Thor is kind of a warrior.Thats why he has killed so much. And a I think Loki has a bit more to go before he reaches the mcu version of good guy.I ope he doesn't tho.The present loki already feels too good.
Loved the effort Jimmy puts in to gather and, quiet literally "learn" all the info about all the actors he meets, just to keep them talking. At one point you see even Tom mentioning it.👏👏
he’s so well spoken and polite. it’s honestly refreshing to hear him speak in interviews
I'm never bored of this man he knows what to say everytime, I'm so happy for him I will always be obsessed with Tommy ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥺🥺🥺🥺✨✨✨✨
When he smiles openly you can get a glimpse of Loki in him. This man is great 🤗💕💕💕💕💕
Happy for Tom, having Loki being the most watch Disney+ series.
Absolutely love tom hiddleston😅
I started watching the essex serpent just for Tom Hiddleston and I'm really enjoying the show.
Yup, only watching it for him.😎❤
Since Childhood i have been crushing on Tom hiddleston and I am still crushing on him I only hope I see him one day 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
My husband wonders why I love Tom Hiddleston and I don’t understand why he has to still ask me. I mean look at this man!!!
Hello, thank you for following my page
Exactly!
He is wonderful
Edit: I just finished the entire video and I wish it was Jimmy Fallon who was interviewing him instead of Kimmel. Tom handled it well but I would’ve been offended & annoyed by that
I think it's so popular because Tom.H is Loki, we love him.
He 's so kind acts like a gentleman
I love Tom Hiddleston he's my favorite actor. 💓 so looking forward to loki season 2
CONGRATSSS TOM FOR BEING A FATHER!!
The hottest man on Earth. The face, height, accent, and talent.
God has its favorites
Would love to see him with Hugh Laurie again in The Night Manager was so disappointed that there wasn't another one. It was so good.
If there had been a way the author could keep that plot going without it having been a total stretch I would have been overjoyed because the Night Manager was amazing. I watch it all the time. Like I'll sit down and just binge it. They were both so brilliant.
This movie brought him to my real attention although I knew him before.
Me too! They were both excellent in that.series. Tom Hiddleston gave an excellent performance, I could see him in more like this!!
@@marievignolo5449 The Night Manager is from the original book by John Le Carre, an espionage writer from the Cold War era, since passed away.
@@AlpenTree yes I meant to say the writers. There was in fact talk of trying to come up with more content but they couldn't find a way to do it.
Loki Portraying Tom Hiddleston Glorious
Loki season 2 just ended 😭. Glorious purpose
he's honestly glowing so much, im so glad he's happier
Tom Hiddleston is so charming
Always
Kudos to Kimmel for his extended interview style, making it so enjoyable to watch.
9:52 is why Tom H is such a great actor. He translates the characters so succinctly.
Really enjoying Essex Serpent, great cliff hanger last week. And can't wait for Loki Season 2. :D
This chap is effortlessly charming.
Well, I guess I’ll be re-upping for Disney+. So glad. Why aren’t kids afraid of Loki? Because Tom Hiddleston makes him so lovable!
I fell in love with Loki years ago and I fall in love with Tom over and over again because you cannot find another man who speaks so gently and eloquently like Tom is. He is so down to earth and sweet. Love this man to pieces and so happy he found happiness in love 🥰
Hearing Tom speak is therapeutic and talking about Loki is giving me so many feels! Can’t wait! Now to start a steady regimen of watching everything Tom Hiddleston again!
Such a treasure. Hope to see more of his work!!
Just caught sight, love the blue socks! See how easy it is to please a fan
Hello, thank you for following my page
this man knows what colors works best for him
I love a clean shaven Tom, I swear to god this man doesn't age, he just upgrades
I'VE BEEN FANGIRLING FOR 15 MINUTES!!!!
As a Scandinavian, it’s just so cool to hear Loki (well, Tom
Hiddleston, but I mean..
Tom hiddleston is so educate , the way he talking or listning or tell the stories or just looking he's so good so gentle so truth for me
Remember watching this interview. The acting has you feeling every feeling each character that Tom Hiddleston played over the years. Yet, my favorite character is Loki Lauefyson. The rightful king of Asgard. I am Loki. Of Asgard. I am burden with glorious purpose. King of Jotunheim. Forever be my Frost Giant 💚💚💚💚💚💚
I still cannot believe he has never won an Oscar, and I don't just mean for Loki. He was exceptional is so many roles, including in off-the-beat movies like Crimson Peak, War Horse and Deep Blue Sea. Not that TH needs an Oscar to define him. Just saying.
He was incredible in the series "The Night Manager" as well!
@@ThePrimaDonna21 that's what got me hooked to his acting! sadly that's the closest we can get to him playing as James Bond.
@@cgln4382 I would literally die if ever played Bond. He'd be perfect 😭
I like his Acting in Kong Skull Island
Such a brilliant actor and person. 💕
tom ages like fine wine im so serious
I mean come on...the entire of Tom Hiddleston is poetic!!
As a norwegian, I think he did well:)
Did you notice that when Tom Hiddleston speaks, even Jimmy Kimmel shuts up for a few seconds? That man (Tom) ist a genius!!!
Can't wait for Loki season 2. Tom Hiddleston is a treasure.
Tom Hiddleston is really a God I couldn’t stop smiling just listening to him talk and smile he melts my heart
The moment where Jimmy assumes Tom believes more of ghosts than UFOs and Tom grins his awkward Loki grin…that’s priceless! 😂
I love hearing Tom say “the TVA” again, takes me back to last summer when the show aired. Good times. 😀
he's so lovely and polite i love him so much
Tom Hiddleston is a beautiful man and his smile is just so wholesome. I can't say much about his personality because I don't know him personally but he seems like a sweetheart too. He's so talented and I've been a fan ever sense Wallander. I can't wait to see what else he has in store. 😁
I just love him. So educated and talented but humble and with a sense of humor. And Jimmy’s right - we grew up listening to David Attenborough narrating nature documentaries, so we naturally think British accent means more intelligent.
