Just went from the MP20 blades to the 921 Tour and never been more satisfied. Every shot, every iron, gives you that "ohhhhh" feeling. Best irons I've ever owned, hands down.

Great video as always. I can't wait to see the Hot Metals. I came close to getting the 919 Hot Metals. I have been waiting for these. I would also like to see the new Callaway BB21 irons, but that would be for pure entertainment value.

Considering how well you hit them surely they are a contender for the bag. Great review, the forgiveness really shines through which is something not so apparent in other reviews that only focus on the workability. Looking increasingly likely for these to get in my bag.

I’ve been hitting a set of MP-57s for (yep) 12 years! And these in some ways look vaguely similar but updated with 2010s science stuff
Mr. Compression is crushing it! That's the sound of soft metal wrapping around a premium butter ball, and achieving orbit.
When you test the forged please discuss blending into the tour re lifts etc , I’m currently nursing a semi about tour , pw - 6 then forged in the 5&4 and a hot metal in a 3 iron with a hybrid shaft
Just got fitted for a pair 🤗. Now hopefully they hurry up and get here!!
I had a fitting with these & I just had to buy them, distance control was insane, feel was so good.
The only problem I found is the delivery time, I got to wait too long to hit them again.

Can't say I'm surprised by the quality of the irons. I just picked up a set of the 919 forged, without the 3, and just WOW.

Parted with apex mb 18 finally, for these. Just perfect irons.
demoed a couple single 7 irons. MP20 HMB and TM 790. So clunky to me and thick. Makes me LOVE my MMCs which are much thinner on top. Waiting for 770s but if they are thick then no way. Are they slim or thick to your knowledge. Love yer vids!

Like everyone, great and it is oddly satisfying to watch your videos. But, would you recommend those for someone who is starting, can hit ball straight (99% of a time) and now working on proper ball compression/divot shape?

Alex I’m looking to upgrade my current set of MP 68’s I was looking at a multi set of mmc 20 and mp 20’s or possibly now the 921 tours my question is what’s really the difference between the 921 and mmc, I like a thin top line at address but would like more forgiveness out of the bottom grove strikes

Mizuno’s tour audits in 2019 showed not a single JPX919 #3 iron in play. Hence the JPX921 Tour is 4-GW, encouraging the MP-20 HMB to fill the #3 iron slot.

Mr. Al- The accuracy you show with this club is much better than I have seen on such tests of clubs. With the perimeter and low weighting, could this club be a game improvement iron? As to your workability testing by the way, with my own clubs I can easily produce high and low fades and draws and stingers; I just don't ever quite know which one is coming.Thanks, Bob

I know its an old club (2017), but I feel like the wilson c300 forged irons perform exactly the same as irons coming out today. Or maybe I'm biased cause thats whats currently in my bag 😋

Currently own three sets of irons my dads golden bear blades older then me. The first ser i bought myself 20 years ago armour 845 titanium and my latest set Taylormade M1. The only ones I don’t default draw are the Bears. The M1s are probably 10 to 20 yrds longer
