They said they will ban overseas employment as default, this means first right of offer should go to those in UK and not a total ban to recruiting from abroad.

Which makes a lot of sense. If employers are being truthful, the job is not even enough for those here. This is why they will employ people from overseas and have no jobs.

The gvt has no clue what goes on in the NHS. It was put to bare up North in the programme shown on TV. Indigenous nurses during my time would go off sick on nights and as a third year student I would be in charge on nights of a 40 patients medical ward. The staff nurse would go off sick cos of stress. There would be a third year, send year and an auxiliary. No qualified staff. So where will the gvt get qualified nurses to work for the small salary nurses earn? In my days a lot of white British qualified nurses went to work in Dubai. None whites are the ones who stayed behind holding the fort. Same during Covid, white British nurses retired early, some in their mid fiftees. The gvts need to open their eyes and look at the trend.

Yes they don’t know but saying that they want to stop migration they can’t stop it. They are still recruiting. It’s illegal migration. If you have been following British news it is illegal immgration. Did you pass through the sea? When you were coming? Those are the people are focusing on. It is not that difficult. There are so many illegal immigrants in uk.

When they talk of training people for jobs , they know exactly the kind of job they mean, not the house boy, house girl in the name of care and support worker. They mean real job. Therefore care and support still stands because servants are always needed to serve the rich.

@@asogwaikechukwu3048 yes it is mandatory for all year 10 moving to year 11. Also year 11 awaiting college. Please stop this mentality. Your child is given options to chose where they want to start their placement. As a parent, you will be contacted by the school career team because you will also be made to fill some forms. Year 10 students moving to year 11 starts well off. This is why you see high productive compare to Nigeria where such is not afforded .
Starting early helps the child to model their future into being what they want. Nigeria until u start university which is not good.
