Thank you everyone for watching this video! Be sure to SUBSCRIBE! There will be more like it! We have our biggest show yet coming up at The Glass House in Pomona, and we will be strapping a GoPro to our drummer AGAIN!
Shoutout the glasshouse. That was my home venue growing up.. Shoutout all my inland empire boys, La Verne San Dimas Chino Upland Ontario etc!
you always take your kick pedal everywhere:) don't forget that!
Lesson learned! I actually decided to use the house pedal and it was horrible! Fail!
I let someone tell me they had "house drums" only one time. It was very enticing to not bring equipment however, 10 seconds into the first song i blasted a hole through the kick drum. Good times
@@televisionface Surprised there even *was* one. In my experience when a venue tells me there's a house kit what they mean is "literally a kick, rack, floor. might be some heads on it but idk". I always bring my kick/hat pedals, snare, and stands for everything.
@@justinpogue1257yeah, if you are lucky, they even provide stands. But 9 out of 10 times that dies not happen.
always take all the plastic sleeves for your cymbals to! Save your cymbals from getting a key hole from shitty cymbal stands without any protection
I love the vocalist singing Sugar by Sleep Token in the start lol
sammeeee
I liked it so much
yessss
AYY as a drummer I love the POV's :)
Glad you enjoy them!
i just discovered your channel BUT I LOVE YOUR SINGER JUST BECAUSE HE WAS SINGING A SLEEP TOKEN SONG AT THE BEGINNING
That's probably the last reason to love someone but ok
Dude, this is exactly what I'm going through rn, as a basist - but quite literaly on the other side of the world. Gl y'all
Leave it to the *bassist to show up late for practice, AND not be able to spell the name of his profession.
Jk bro, lmao, keep on bassin'. We need more of you out there.
@@ENIGMVTIK in the wise words of my band's bassist, "Nobody wants to be a bassist except me and uh i guess scott shriner"
Hey thats me
No way it’s Zach from Valea
Thanks for the video! Reminds me of the ones from I Prevail's drummer. Great stuff!
No that’s us
@@hamsterman1995its like a mix of Gabe’s, and Matt’s videos.
I am confused.
i wish to see you grow bigger as a band, i just found this and i love it!!
You missed the part where you have to soundcheck the kit for about 20 minutes because the sound tech doesn't know how the desk works.
Tossing in that cable uncoiled just stressed me out 😭😭
You guys are so inspiring I'm trying to make my own band
This is such a well made video, and some great music, subscribed!
I wanna see what its like to be in a small local band w friends. Even if it’s not good or goes nowhere i just think it’d be fun
That’s why we started! It’s a fun time!
I didn’t know you had a channel! I love your music, you call us dead is definitely my favorite
Great pick!!!
My band is doing a 6 day “tour” around the south west and I’ve been thinking of making this style of video for it
Love the video btw!
Sounds cool. Good luck
Nice hi-hats. I've had the same for years - they're fantastic. Loud and aggressive, love em.
Agreed!
Hey man! I don’t know if you’re going to see this but something thats been helping me with fills is taking rudiments like paradiddles, paradiddlediddles, and even simple RLK triplets around the kit and gradually making them faster and smoother!
This reminds a lot of the bands I was in growing up.
Cherish these times, they go by quick.
This is a really cool video, dude. As a fellow small band drummer, this has me wanting to throw a GoPro on and document! Keep it up homes
Forgetting to turn ur snare back on is too real we've all been there
I could easily watch an hour or 5 of this, especially as a drummer in an up and coming local band. Keep stuff like this and the rest of your uploads coming! Can't wait to look back on this once you guys blow up!!
Love these types of vids, gotta make one of my own sometime
I'm dying to start a band as a drummer and this is so inspiring!! I loved seeing the inside pov :)) Even the annoying parts seem so worth it to me
Absolutely worth it!
i love everything about this! please make more povs. :)
Recording a new one tomorrow!
Super inspiring, you guys are doing great things
such a vibe boys. greatings from russian small local band!! 🤎
just listened to the ep , curtains is such a good song i really loved the lyrics and rawness of it i hope u guys make it big ^^
Some observations as a drummer;
- always bring breakables to every show.
- invest in cases for your snare.
- bring a change of clothes for after and have a dedicated pair of shoes for drumming in
Loved the video❤️ Colorblind sounds ridiculously good!
Possible we hit the studio for that one soon…
Buddy needs to learn you don’t need to accent every word with a snare hit. How to drown your vocals 101.
Going back to drumming after almost 10 years, because playing even for just a dozen people was the happiest times of my life and I've missed this so much.
Playing music is so much fun!
Awesome man! Your style's pretty chill but solid 👍🏻
yo this is sick can you ask the guitarist to do a POV: your a guitarist form a small band. ?? idea
Guitarist POV in the works for our next show!
Great stuff! Shows the "pains" of musicians when starting out. Also as a vocalist I would never rehearse the day of, i would never warm up either (which was terrible and I know bettter now). Thanks for sharing great video.
Damn, you really gotta tidy up your bandroom dudes! :D
No kidding 😂
great stuff man me and my buddies are also starting a band and its great to see another small band dealing with the same things we deal with lol.
Thank you! Best of luck to you and your band!
Great stuff, dent in the reso can be caused from the snare not mounted correctly and resting on the end of the stare stand arm
Just stumbled across your video because I recognized OB . This was fun , reminds me of my early days .
Good luck to you and look forward to more POV vids .
🙏
Got a big one in the works! Glass House Pomona!
you’re vocalist sounds like maynard james keenan for tool it’s awesome
this is quite poggers champion
I’ve just joined a very small band hopefully it goes well 😭
Super swag moment
I think this is the future. Everyone wears a camera on their chest and you get to choose whos POV you want to live through. Great work. Thanks for the upload.
Or just go live life yourself
Love the video! Very entertaining :)
I've been drumming for 2 years and I really enjoy doing shows so this was perfect!
Cool video and you guys have a great attitude. Good luck with your music!
00:40 OMG those dogs look so cute❤
I just listened to some of your guy's stuff. I like it, i really do. Keep it up and grow big
that hi-hat groove in colourblind looks so satisfying to play man, keep it up
I cant wait until im in a band. It looks like a lot of fun.
Thank you BROTHER 🙂
so glad yt recommended me this video, sick band!!
Been touring as a drummer for 15 years, and we are so different. I never warm up, am the manager, and work with what I got at the venue. Also never practice on gigg day. But thats me.
We are still relatively new to playing shows consistently, so things could definitely change!
I’ve never heard of this band before, but damn, i’m intrigued now.
This is a great video! I’ve just posted something similar and have taken a lot of notes from your video!
There’s always so much to learn from every single gig. Keep rocking it!
Awesome! ^^
this is GRRREAT!
so fire
This is so good. Keep it up!!
6:20 whatever he's watching must be very exciting!
ur kit is so nice dude i love the rack system
Wow I love all my band mates and my dogs are adorable
Things have changed. Load in 9:30, last set midnight and load out at 2:30 am. In the cold. In western NY. In the snow. Sometimes I miss it.
Hey im new here really liked the content and the band
Im also a drummer in Hungary, small new band. Keep it up and waiting to see new videos
Cheers
great drumming, great video man..
Thanks a lot!
Awesome video!
Omg, thats amazing.
Pretty much on point. "I have a lot of pratice and a very nicely built kit" well, you are gonna play on this house kit made of carboard boxes to really test your skills. Sometimes I miss playing music. Playing locally can be a real drag sometimes but also a dope experience, some...Times. But once you go on a tour, small or crappy whatever, that usually makes it worth it.
Cool video dude love these kinda vids
Glad you liked it!
You guys are very unorganized. With that said, kick ass.
True facts!!
pro tip on forgetting to engage the snares before a song: make it look intentional. just play the part of the song through with it and engage on a feel change along the song.
This is sick! Paiste and Tama 💙
Cool video bud. If i could suggest one thing practice keeping time with the left foot. Really helped me. Keep jt up!
Thanks for the tip!
this ended up on my reccomended its been a bit
Glad it’s reaching new people!
Great video! Keep it up 👍
Would love to play with you guys!!!
No one records the drummer so the drummer records them self
Nice Starclassic! Sounds good!
Are you guys practicing / performing with click? Great video btw, very entertaining :)
We definitely should be. In ears with a click is on our list of must dos in the near future!
do you have any advice or tips for nerves before a show? also choking often when adding fills is so relatable lmao
Sort of. Just realize that about 30 seconds into the first song, all nerves go out the window! - Tylor, drummer
As a drummer, I wouldn't worry about rudiments and fills, they aren't as important as keeping a solid groove. You guys sound great!
keep it up!
My band is playing a thrift shop gig on March 16 LOL small world.
8:48 "why is there so much shit back here" is such a mood lmaoo
Liquid IV. Best stuff for before gig and after gig hydration.
This video made me realize how f-ing toxic my old bandmates were that made stop playing live shows years ago. You guys seem like great people having fun! Keep going 🤘
Thank you!!
go padres
W pov, need to see more of this type of content!

POV: what it’s like to play for a cookie cutter band
hey try to hold the sticks lower (if you can drum on a bouncing tennis ball you got it)
Thanks for the tip!
14:11 was that FOH messing up the mic gains 😭
New (ish) venue, it is what it is!
@@televisionface fair nuff, nice performance 😉
now all you guys need is a bassist
How do I listen to the colorblind song. It’s fire
nice garage gym/ band room
Thank you!
idk why this popped up in my feed, was entertaining tho and the musics good!
ant tips for a learning drummer? im trying to get better with a cheap kit but im not sure what the next step is
You guys are 100x more organized than any band I’ve been in lol. And I’ve been signed to a record label. Ntm your singer can really sing.
To give my 2 cents, really work on lyrics. Good vocals + good lyrics will take you far. Stuff like, “Confusion in my brain.” “In the pouring rain” and other cliches won’t catch many people’s interest. Write something real, personal, that no one has heard in a song before. Anything can be lyrics.
Lastly, I would consider changing the band name. I’m sorry, but Television Face isn’t the best name. I get that it’s like Radiohead, but it doesn’t match your sound. Try to come up with a name that people will take seriously and that no one would ever feel embarrassed saying 👍🏻
Respectfully I think that television face is a great name
@@NoahdoesdrumsFace The Television
@@inshambles2 that's not bad
In my band we never rehearse on the day of the show, always a few days before to save the energy.
Nothing against your method though. Each band and what suits them best.
Keep on rockin' dudes! You guys play some great music
In my band we practice day before always but the next day we just focus on the show. Get dressed and go for a coffee or something but we dont rehearse the day we play the show.
Lmao the causal kyle gordon ref
Hell ya singing sleep token my man!
when you guys blow up can you please do: "POV: You're The Drummer For A Band At Coachella"
If we EVER get a chance to play a show like that, yes, there will be a go pro video!
