Thanks for bringing these places to my attention - I visited both last week. Rijal Almah is well worth a visit, and Thee Ain worth a quick stop, especially in the light of late afternoon. Worth saying, however, that the latter appears very artificial, as it is highly reconstructed, with cement all over it - unlike Rijal Almah, which although reconstructed to some extent, feels far more authentic. Surprised you didn't mention, as an aside, all the baboons in that part of the country!
Jason, please visit the picturesque city of Abha and Khamis Mushayt. I lived there 16yrs ago and I still miss it every day! Beautiful place. Beautiful people!
