So enjoyed my time there last season, that I'm booked in for three days next month. So looking forward to getting to see many of my mates from last season.
Hi great footage and well done in showing us what happened !! It looks a fantastic place and what i saw the birds were brilliant. Correct me if im wrong, there was no wind, when you where shooting. so god help us if there is a gale next time. As for your shooting the main thing is to remember its driven shooting when you have very high birds like these you need to shoot them in front say at 11 o clock or if you make it a side on shoot your last shoot is leave with you. If the bird has not gone passed you, its to late you are wasting shells. You need to shoot at its head not its back end. On days like these start average say 30m and work your way up to the taller birds. places like this have lots, so pick them. Once again keep the footage coming and great shooting Regards Alan Robinson
Phenomenal birds.Superb effort from the ''shutterbug''.Cracking ESS.Session with Messrs Matk Winser Ed Solomons or like might not go amiss.😉.Seem to take the shot on birds very late in most cases.
So you just stand there and let people drive the birds towards you, seems like posh bullshit to me. Makes me appreciate wild game hunting in Newfoundland all the more.
Great video guys! That last drive looked tasty!! I wouldn’t have minded standing under them! 😍
They definitely got the better of me!
The ESS in the attached video is very sharp and one of the best for peg work I have seen!

Excellent videography and beautiful weather for it. Tell James to save some of that nice weather for us.
Having shot there myself I can only agree with every superlative you might use, everything from the sublime to the ridiculous.
It sure is one hell of a place to shoot
Looking forward to getting back there next month for a couple of walked up days with Dan Hill
Mate. So looking forward to it.
No mention of the hard working Beaters as usual.
Was at the Garth in September. James and his team are world class!
Super footage. Definitely one to visit at some point.
